"Indeed, they're more common sense then rules around here. But you'd be surprised how many other places doesn't follow things even that simple." -He mulled thoughtfully over the words.-
"But anyway, welcome to the pride. There are many places in the rocks for you to stay if you'd like. Or anywhere on the great savannah."
-Picking up the piglet, he looked at her questioningly, as if to offer it silently to her, if you she wanted it.-

It was indeed true, what the king said, as Nelu had known from experience in the south and in her journey. But all that was in the past now, and the lioness willed the memories back into her head. The future was what she needed to think about now.
"Thank you," Nelu uttered gratefully. Words could not express her gratitude for the old king, and the land, and the creatures of the land, for the lioness realized that she'd found another home finally. As for specifically where she'll settled down that was to be hashed out later, under the advice of Aadil probably.
Nelu shook her head timidly at Mufasa's offer of the piglet. She had been fed quite well lately, and the weight she'd lost on her journey was quitely coming back. Besides, the young lioness had a sneaky suspicion that the piglet -was- the king's snack.

-Now that his mouth was full, he couldn't quite answer her verbally, but he nodded gently to her sentiment, before bowing his head in a soft sign of departure. As long as she didn't still have some words for him that was.
He waited softly for a moment, though his eyes glanced towards the east, watching the horizon for movement. He knew of a litter of young ones that lived in that direction.-

Sense that the old king had somewhere to be, the young lioness rose to her feet. She shook her body a bit, more out of habit than to rid her coat of a few pieces of stray grass that clung here and there.
The dark lioness herself felt light, as if a heavy weight had been lifted off of her. She was very happy to have been welcomed into the pride and was bursting to share the good news with Aadil. Nelu tipped her head once again as a sign of respect to the king, wondering if he had any other instructions for her.

-But indeed he didn't, and he took her silence as a notion that she was done with him, letting a soft purr rumble through his chest, before he slowly began to make his way away from the lioness. Hopefully he'd see the two again. But if not.. well, he had every assurance that Kami would.-

So the dark lioness gathered that there was no more instructions from the old king as he strolled away. Nelu stood and watched the old king off, waiting until he was but a smudge of gold in the sea of green as she had seen him when they had first met up. There was delight in her heart, and she wondered whether she'd have the pleasure of the king's company again.
It would be awhile before it dawns on the young lioness what an incredible day it was. One did not ofter have the honor of the king's presence, after all. For now, though, she was too excited and was beginning to bound off toward the direction were she knew Aadil was.
