"...Didn't you just say she does like to pick on kids like us? Or... Oh, you were just saying that some do... Sorry." Gaenor mumbled, still stroking the fur of her tail. She knew that she looked nervous, probably almost as nervous as she actually felt, and wondered if Tai thought she was a coward. "...I don't want to make an enemy on my first day here," she blurted, her nose and eyes pointed at the ground.

Tai Yang, smiled and pat the other kit on the back comforting ly. "Dont worry, you havent met enough people yet to make any enmies. Besides, i dont think any boady could not like you." he said with an honest smile this time. He lifted her chin um and grined at her before grabing her hand an pulling her along to find an older way ward.
" Any way this guy i know will most likely be in the libary.... i think, and I'm sure he'll beable to help us out. I still haven gone through orientaion copletely mysellf. I usaly get board and go do something porductive, like napping. " he said with a bright smile as he led her into one of the wayward buildings and into the libray.

Smiling nervously, Gaenor let Tai drag her along on his search for another Wayward. Wait, he still hadn't been through an orientation? "How long have you been here at Wayward? You seem to know your way around even without having taken the tour..." Still holding her tail to her chest with her free paw.Watching the two young foxes head toward the main building from where he was sitting under a tree, Tokala wondered about the young female that didn't look familiar. Knowing Tai Yang fairly well however, he figured that the poor girl was being led astray by the wily young male. "Oi, Tai! Where are you off to in such a hurry, and with such a pretty young lady? You're too young for that kinda stuff!"

Tai jumped at the voice he hear and whipped around quickly. He grined when he came eye to chest with Talka. Perfect timing as usual. " IT's not like that!Geanor got seperated from the orientation and found me instead. " he said grinning at Geanor his tail wagging happily infront of Geanor's face. This is perfect. We both can get a guided tour He thought happily as he let his nose twitch happily. " Oh that right introduction!" she said allwoded as he hit his head. " Geanor this is the really nice teen i told you about. He's Talka! And Talka this i Geanor , she's a new wayward."

Ear twitching, Tokala stared at the young male. "For the last time, my name isn't Tolka, it's Tokala. Are you ever going to learn to pronounce it right?" With a sigh he turned to look at the pretty silver fox. Hn, her fur kinda reminded him of his own hair... Oh well, time for that thought later! "Nice to meet you little lady Gaenor," He chuckled with a graceful bow. "Might I ask how you got separated from the rest of the tour?"
Cluctching at her tail like it could save her, Gaenor mumbled, "I... Was looking at some of the pictures done by the other... Waywards... I didn't notice that the rest of the tour was moving on without me until I couldn't see them anymore... I remembered that they said they were going to tour the gardens near the end and hoped to beat them there, but... I got lost." Ears folded back and expecting a scolding from the older fox, Gaenor couldn't say that this was the way she'd envisioned her first day at this pound.

Grinning goffily Tai Yang sratched the back of his hair. " Sorry To-ka-la. I keep on forgetting how to say it. Your name is really hard to pornoucen. " He truned to Gaenor na dpatted her head. " So that why you found me in my flower patch. I didnt think many people liked to go that far out into the gradnes. " he truned back to Tokala and pulled on his sleve. " Hey... do you have any food by any chance?... It's lunch time and we dont know our way to the kitchens yet. "

"It's not that hard to pronounce, you're just lazy." Tokala smirked at the younger male before returning his gaze to Gaenor. "It's okay, I'll let the supervisors know what happened so you don't get in trouble. The guide should have been paying more attention anyway, they aren't supposed to leave kids behind." Sighing slightly at Tai's last request. "Tai, you've been here for now? You still don't know your way around! All you know is the gardens, and nothing else. Do you even know how to find your assigned room unless you're dragged there?"
Eays widen while listening to this older fox give Tai Yang a thorough dressing down about his behaviour, worried about her only friend at this place. "I haven't gotten a complete tour either... Maybe you'd give us both one To-ka-la...?" Careful to enunciate his name clearly to aviod making him mad at both of them.

Tai Yang grinned at Geanor as he spoke. " Tokala will give us a short tour. He's nice like that ya know." He kept a tight hold on Tokala's sleve and tugged again. "Your the one who's always sent to find me and drag me to my doorm so i think i have a decent Idead where the rooms are. Theyre in the west wing right? "

Tokala rolled his eyes and sighed at the vivid fox. "No, thats where you keep getting dragged when the supervisors want to talk to you. The dorms are in the north wing. ...Comeon, you're not going to get any food until dinner if we don't get moving." Tokala huffed as he got to his feet and headed into the building, giving brief explanations to some of the places that they passed on their way.
Gaenor took a step back as the teen fox stood up, towering over both her and Tai and walked away, his tail swishing behind him. Giving Tai a quick glance, she hurried after the older fox, not having had a chance to eat yet today and being very hungry. Feeling lost inside the giant building as they continue their trek to find food.

Tai stuck his tounge out at Tokala as the other two walked ahead. He hated it when Tokala teased him like that. that didn't stop him from following however, listening on the other hand was a diffrent story. As he trotted after the other two he dugg his pinky finger into his hear and began to pick at the wax in a borde mannor. He wasnt very instrested in lessions or libary, or even the lounge areas. He only wanted to sleep in his littel patch of heaven. The kitchen was a whole other matter. Nothing would stop him from the getting to that room, not even his own attention span.
Whe he looked towars Geanor he could only wonder how and why this kit could pay such profound attention to something so boring as a tour. There was no point in his oppion.

Showing the two kids to the door of the cafeteria, Tokala looked down at the two of them seriously, one ear flicking in irritation at Tai's sign of non-attention. "I'm going to talk to some of the caretakers here, and make sure they know what happened to Gaenor here. Both of you get something to eat and then stay here until I come back, alright?" Waiting until he got a nod out of Gaenor, not having even expected one out of Tai in the first place, Tokala headed down the hall to find one of the rare adults who run the Wayward pound.
After giving a nod that she at least would remain in the cafeteria until someone comes to get her. On some level enjoying watching the handsome older male pace down the hallway on the hunt, Gaenor couldn't stop her nose from twitching at the scent of food that was suddenly assaulting it. As the tip of the brown tail flickered out of sight around a corner she grabbed for Tai's wrist with the intent of dragging him into the cafeteria to eat. "Tai, food! Let's eat!"

Tai didnt even bother to notice the food or the room he was in as he was dragged off into a lunch line. He was to busy trying to thinkg of the best way to start a food fight. It wasnt that he was to hyper, it was that the kitchens were to clean for his taste. The walls were missing some spegatti sauce and the floors were in need of some mashed potatos. " Yes... mashed potatos would be perfect." he said out loud as he formulated his plans.

Head twisting around so she could stare at Tai after he made that random comment, Gaenor felt the first faint stirrings of dread. Unable to place exactly why she was feeling suddenly like something horrible was going to happen, her tail still wrapped around her as a calming gesture, slowly petting the fur. "Tai, what was that about mashed potatoes...?"

Tai looked at her with a semi dazed expersion before he snapped out of his mental stooper. An excuse... an excuse. make one up quick he thought as his brain scrabled to find some sort of verbal explantion for what he was talking about. That when the speach came to mind. " I was just thinking about how under apperciated the spud must feel. It's one of the most versitile roots out there. YOu can cook a potato in so many diffrent ways thats its near to imposible to count. Think about it, mashed; backed; duble stiffed; stewed; steam; cream; frided; hased. So many diffrent ways to cook it and that's just of the tip of the ice brug. And on the diffrent kinds of names it get from other countreis. like "appel of the earth". It's truely an amazing root. Dont you think?... "

Ears twitching as she listened to the multi-colored fox babble on about how cool potatoes were, Gaenor felt the sinking feeling grow. "Yea... I guess potatos are interesting... But..." Not knowing how to put the dread she was feeling into words, Gaenor trailed off and looked to the front of the line which they were quickly approaching.
