"Oh," Tufani said as the cheetah's words snapped her back to reality. "To the edge of the jungle? Oh, it'd be easy to find the pridelands from there. Thank you very much, Esquillo." The lioness beamed, before realizing that she probably looked rude. "It isn't that this place isn't beautiful...this waterfall is amazing, and I will definitely have to come see it again someday. It's just...well, I miss home. I'm sure you'd feel the same wierd feeling if you ever left the jungle."

The big green cheetah grinned. "I'm afraid I don't think I could leave the jungle, I would probably die out on the ground" He lifted his apws one at a time showing the strange deformeties he had developed over his time in the boughs. "I'm at home in the air, not on the ground"
Leaping he virtually walked up the trunk of a tree clamberign on to the branches and beaming. "C'mon then, lets get ya home." he waited for ehr before taking a small leap to another tree, he ddn't want to loose her, he could be very fast in the branches and his coat melded ever so well. He'd never met a lion before, despite being alot like leopards, this one had certainly prooved more friendly.

"We all have our place in the circle of life," Tufani said as she followed the tree-climber onward. She wasn't disturbed by the deformities that he had shown her; in fact, she didn't even know they were deformities. A naive child, this one was.
As time passed and they got further along, Tufani started to recognize certain things about her surroundings. That tree...that tree was familiar. She could tell that she was near the start of the jungle. Near home. "Thank you again, Esquillo. I know where I am now, and can find my way from here. I'll have to come back to visit sometime so I can see that waterfall again."

The green tree leaper nodded. "Just walk straight ahead and you will be out on to the treeless lands." He paused and lay down upon the branch he had paused on as she spoke. "Take care Tufani, find your way home safely. he smiled wistfully, rolling his shoulders and stretching out his claws as he watched her vanish off towards the savannah.
A friend? Yes he had certainly made a friend, how odd that a big cat could be friendly. Yawning a little he stood slowly before elaping off through the trees back towards hsi own sleeping place. The trees, would always be his home.
