Well yeah, Astral projection and out-of-body experiences are pretty much the same thing.
When we dream, we dream in the Astral plane and so we naturally Astral project. And when something's going on in the Astral plane, like our Astral body is being chased by a bad something or 'nother, our Astral body "jumps" back into our physical body making it feel like we're falling onto our beds.
I hope that helped.
Edit: Oh, it was someone one in the other guild I'm in who said that the Astral plane has been in Chaos, because that thing has been happening a lot with me lately, where I feel like I'm falling onto my bed.... ever during school when I accidently fall asleep.

Hm....I've had many instances when I'd be -almost- asleep, but then I'd feel as if I was falling and then my foot or even my whole leg sometimes would do this horrid twitch unvoluntarily x.x Then I can't fall asleep again until maybe an hour later...
Would that have anything to do with the Astral Plane and astral projection?

Hmm... I don't know. I don't know that much about Astral projection.
I use to think that when I was "falling" onto my bed that it was some spirit trying to possess me or something. I'm glad I learned what it really was.

I've been seeing commercials about it lately. I think it's called restless leg syndrome or something, except it isn't just in your legs... o.O

yinXyang18 o_O Isn't that an on-going thing though? It only happens to me once a month or something....sometimes maybe three or four times a week and then it'd stop.
