ChaosDragoon0 Which would you prefer it be? Saphira or the elf Eragon is in love with? (Haven't read the book in a while so I don't know her name.) The Elf Arya

Some peopel are saying Brom's not really dead, he's going to be brought back and because he made such a sacrifice, he has special powers. He's kind of just imprisoned in the diamond or something, waiting for someone to get him out.. Apparently, Eragon and Arya die, and Brom will bring them back to life. There's a whole thread about it in the I.T.G, someone's dad met paolini and was shown the original notes or something like that. Don't know whether to believe it or not..

Albert_Zepher YES!!! LET HER DIE!!! LET THE ELF DIE!! domokun scream domokun Think about it: Eragon is destined to leave Alagaesia forever. Now, there are two ways that I can think of that this can go. The first: he actually leaves, but what could drive him to leave his home? The second: He doesn't actually leave, but is changed so much, that the Eragon that used to be is no more, but what could change him so much other than Saphira's death? And Solembum says, and I quote "When all seems lost and your power is insuffiecient, go to the rock of Kuthian and speak your name to open the Vault of Souls." All seeming lost and his power being insufficient is a perfect definition of him losing Saphira, and he is opening the Vault of Souls. What else would he do there than absorb Saphira's soul to gain the power he needs to defeat Galbatorix, and so that he won't feel alone anymore. WHY DO THESE TRAGETIES RACE THROUGH MY MIND!?!?! crying I just remembered something. In one of the first chapters of Eragon, Eragon has a dream about a man on a beach that watches a boat sail away with a man and a woman in it. I think he was dreaming of Arya's departure from Alagasia and he will follow her, or go to another land. red soul90 what the hell man !!!!!id rather have safira die i mean llok at it he would go 2 the vault of souls and bring her back +i like the elf i wonder what the new wepon will be ? I believe that the weapon beneath the Menoa Tree is Brom's old sword, one that's saphire blue. He probably abandoned it beneath the tree so it wouldn't remind him of his Saphira.

Do you think The thrid egg will be hatched? I do. Any why should Arya die? I think she is an important asset to the book. Besides for the third book, Eragon can't kill Galbatorix in this book. Its going to become a four book series, and Paolini has to have something to do for the fourth book. I don't belive Saphira has to die for Eragon to access the vault of souls. That would be a waste because the power rests in Saphira anyway. And the point of the book is The bond between Eragon and Saphira.

Dragoni Dracowing I believe that the weapon beneath the Menoa Tree is Brom's old sword, one that's saphire blue. He probably abandoned it beneath the tree so it wouldn't remind him of his Saphira. The 'look under the meona tree' deal that solembum is a piece of 'Brightsteel', in which the Elf Smith used to make the Riders Swords. She finds a way around her oath, and makes Eragon a Riders Sword, which he names Brisinger, which is the true name of the sword, which makes it so much better... Yeah.. SAPHIRA AND ARYA DO NOT DIE. Guaranteed. If anything, it is to talk to Oromis, because he is dead now. But since the whole things is a Cycle, maybe this whole story repeats in the other land, or something. Now THERE is a topic worth discussing. :]
