mm i dnt think hes a b*****d tho, i still have hopes of them getting over this little feud, i hope tom realizes how great he wuz WITH mark and travis, not alone...
i love AVA but to be honest, its not better than blink, i think tom lost something...he must regret it late at night

MollyFlogginz it doesn't matter if Tom did quit the band. It's his decision and while (if the story is true) he did rather inconvienence everyone involved sometimes things like that just happen. If Tom was burned out then he was burned out, and it's not his fault that he was exhausted. and for future reference, you should probably NOT start a topic in a Blink 182 fan forum with "tom delonge is a b*****d" just prolly not a good idea... wink Trust me, I'm probably one of the biggest fans in here. But at the moment, I have no respect for the Tom DeLonge after the Untitled era. And the fact that he quit because he was "burned out", and then turned around and started another band..is just dumb. Mark and Travis explicitly stated that they wanted to continue to make music. (+44) was just what they were calling themselves as they wrote and they made it clear that if Tom came back and quit being a ******** they would go back to blink. They said over and over that it can't be blink without all three of them. Instead of going back and finishing the album he had started, Tom goes around, takes the material he demoed for blink and goes and starts AVA.

maybe he was burned out from being in the biggest band in the world?
there is a differance to being in blink and being ni ava, touring is hard as hell, and exhausting as hell, ava is a completelly different direction than blink 182 would've ever took (well would've ever took and not been called sell outs).
we dont really know the facts on anything, we really arent in a place to judge, maybe tom did act imaturelly, maybe he didn't, truth is no matter what mark says, tom will always say something different, we can't prove who is saying the truth, its basically just the facts, bands split up, sometimes when they are bands that define a generation the fan base stays long after the music is being created (see nirvana).
it's just how music is really, we can't "hate" any band member for ruining the band, blink toured non stop for ten years, then all have children now and they all have grown up, sometimes people fight and never talk again, the sad thing with the loss of blink isn't the loss of blink rather the loss of a great fgriendship that has been around and matured over time (that would be mark and toms btw guys)..

Untitled Finale Well after reading it, it seems that Tom was being cold, and only cared about himself. But, that's coming form there views. Mark could have just been bitter from Tom quiting blink, but who knows. And in another MTV article, Travis speaks up and says that all the whilel during the last tour Tom was already discussing with the manager about stopping and being burned out, and yet he was telling Travis and Mark that he wanted to be doing this in 20 yrs. And if he was so ******** burned out, why turn around and start Angels?

I think its suck that Tom left Blink 182 probly one of the best punk rock bands ever to make his own.MILLIONES of people in the world would give everything they have to be in a band like Blink 182 and he selfishly gave it up in an instant.Well i dont think Mark and Travis should rejoin a band with a person like Tom ans i agree WHAT A b*****d

realpblink182 angelsandairwavestomD tom is so not a b*****d... he's in angels and airwaves with ppl i dont know he's in box car racer with mark, mark and travis r in a band together and travis is in another band that i dont know of. so they're all in 2 bands. boxcar racer was only a side project, and broke up years before blink 182 did... travis and mark's band is called (+44) and travis is also in the transplants... and no, tom isn't a b*****d... he was corrupted by society, as would happen to all celebs in his position. to the public eye, tom was the most important member of the band, so it got into his head and he quit... he did act very immurely though, by changing his phone number and having his manager quit for him... so yeah... tom's not a b*****d...he's just corrupted... he's only human... and he's an example of how the world will end via corruption No one saw Tom as the most important member at all Mark and Tom are the most important. Personally, i love Tom, Mark, And Travis alike, and if were in a blink fan group, i dont think we should hate any of them.

Who the ******** do you think you are insulting Tom DeLonge? Do you have any idea how many kids he's inspired? He inspired me to take up the guitar. I agree with ... Is In Your Pants. He's a ******** musical genious. All three of the mebers were.
Here's just what I heard..
Mark got upset about Travis&&Tom in Boxcar and became paranoid that they didnt like him anymore. Then Tom started becoming depressed and missing his family. So he started planning their shows and everything. So Travis&&Mark got pissed at Tom and blah blah blah. Then Tom felt that it was time for a short break. He was a ******** p***y and called his manager to call Mark&&Travis to tell them that he quit the band. He couldn't do it himself even though they were his best friends. Look I love Tom DeLonge to death, but I mean, they were his best friends! That's what I read in an article at least..I dont know. You decide.
I just hope they will get over this and make a comeback like Linkin Park did. Where they went on a break for about a year and then they came back with a huge album. I hope they get over this. Everytime I read an article about them or look at group pictures of them, I cry. Im crying now just thinking about it lol. BLINK..COME BACK!
Blink-182 will be back. They have to be. We will Miss You Blink-182.
