"What the?!" gasped Darren, still shocked at the workings of the Shadowcloak. "I've never seen anything like that. How does it work?"
"Oh, forgive me Feanyth. We haven't been properly introduced. My name is Darren; Darren Aadamaan. I don't believe we've ever met, but it seems that we have a mutual friend in this escapee. I think we should stick together for a while; atleast until the guards lax their security measures a little."

Cruella turned red. "well their just accidents..." she started but Sienna interupted with anger in her eyes. "yes, like the marks of where you hit me.. accidents?! they weren't supposed to show, that was the accident yes.. she was supposed to let go of her only toy and friend when you burned it, it was an accident that she didn't let go in time! No little man" she said turning to Chrono. "people get injured alot in here and just a little a 1 percentage is an accident and I'd leave if it weren't for the children here. Being the oldest child here gives me the responcebility to take care of them. THey were to scared to put me with other children my age" she said disgusted.

"If the other children your age are anything like you, I am surprised you haven't burned thhis place and all others like to down to ashes," Chrono answered softly. "As for the little ones, I am not sure I even begin to grasp what is going on here. To begin with, why were toys taken away? Surely children under the age of ten are allowed to play?"
Deep in his gut, Chrono had a bad feeling about all of this. He shifted the weight of the child in his arms just slightly, then concentrated on what was going on, or what wasn't. He couldn't begin to fathom what had gone on inside the Holding House, but certainly it didn't look good. Too many of the little ones had marks that should not have existed. Scraped knees Chrono could understand, but this was a lot more than just scraped knees or bruised elbows.
After a moment of thought, he said, "I am going to call for some assistance. Something here is obviously not as it should be, and I do not dare leave the children here unless they are under supervision." Turning to Cruella (?), he said softly, "Where is your phone?"

Nami looked back and forth between the two people who had helped her, too numbed by the idea that she may have finally escaped to pay much attention to what had just happened with the cloak. She slid the knife back into the belt of her jeans. "So... you arent going to take me back to a house?" she asked tenatively, not wanting to get her hopes up, they'd been crushed too many times. But she felt somehow that she could trust these people. After all, they could have just turned her in and gotten a small reward for 'keeping the peace'. She allowed herself a small smile. "My name's Nami... I, um...thank you for all your help." she continued with a small bow.

Standing there she bowed friendly back to Nami "nice meeting you as well Nami, and no I am not going to allow anyone to drag you back into one of those houses. Just like other animals on this planet you have your right to be free, sadly enough not everybody thinks that. So if you need help just call" standing back up straight again she smiled friendly as giving another friendly bow, but now to Darren "it's nice meeting you as well Darren"
As her cloak tightend around her body she looked to it for a moment "don't think my cloak is an it. I believe he's a he. He has his own mind and feelings, works on own thinking but he's my friend as well and he had decided to join me and help whenever needed." she explained to Darren and Nami.
Then she nodded "I think it's smart indeed to stick together for a while untill we're far away from the city so you guys can enjoy freedom. Just hope those gaurds won't keep going in there search, they can be so headstrong sometimes" with that she started to walk away from the city towards the north "about a day walking from here is my little house thingie. Have some food and drinks there so if you two like to we can get something to eat. If we walk for about 2 or 3 hours towards north we can do the last part with another shadowwalk. Like you just had been through."

Cruella stood infront of him. "I'm sorry sir, there is nothing wrong here. Now, if you would leave, I would very much appreciate it." she said. "and as for toy's, we didn't burn them, they lost them" she said giving Sienna a deadly glare. Sienna glared back and ignored what Cruella said. It was useless anyway, the boy should think what he wanted. If she wanted she could sneek out from this place any time, even walk out but with girls her age from the other holding houses she had been they had bonded and had promised that they would make sure the little ones were ok. Her past was talkable but theirs should not be ruined.
Sienna looked at the girl with the burned finger tips. That girl was like the sister she never had and had replaced her brother. That was a horrible memorie she got from the holding houses and the reason she would never escape.

"Lost?" Chrono's normally quiet voice was hardly above a whisper, almost as if he was having trouble believing this. Whether the word was spoken to someone or to himself, it hardly mattered at that point.
As the little children gathered on the floor with their new play things, Cruella stormed out of the room, leaving Chrono and the young woma nalone with the kids for a moment. The man was still holding one child, Aaron, in his arms, and the small one had fallen asleep in the mean time. Somehow, the dim room looked much less threatening with Cruella gone, even though Chrono suspected that she was calling the police in regards to him bargining in this late at night. Idly, he supposed that he was going to get into a lot of trouble in the forseeable future.
"If at all possible, we should all be gone by the time she returns," Chrono whispered softly, geturing to the door with his head. "I have a sinking feeling that elsewise all of us, little ones included, are going to end up on the Correction House (jail) tonight."

Sienna rolled his eyes. "think of that now huh? I would have been long gone if it wasn't for the little one's. Do you really think we can get them out so quickly? " she walked through the room worriedly then grabbed a girl and opened the window. "listnen" she wispered into the room. All the attention was focussed on her. "this boy and I will help us get away but you have to be very quiet and brave, I'll lift you down the window and you have to make room but stay there and quiet! not a word" she said. LIttle heads nodded as some held on to their toys firmly. Quickly she lifted the first one down the window.

Nami shivvered from a combination of cold and the thoughts of the guards continuing the search. If she were caught, they'd simply beat her senseless before dragging her back to the house for more beatings. her hand moved autimatically to a deep scar on the back of her nect but she caught herself and brought it back to her side. She brightened up considerably at the mention of food. "Well, lets start walking then." she said, moving closer to Fea. "So can your cloak only travel certain distances?"

Chrono came over to help the teenager let the ypounger ones out the window. estimating about ten to fifteen kids here, he didn't think they stood much of a chance in either direction. Keeping an eye on the door, he began contemplating where the children could go. After all, they'd be all too easily noticed on the streets. Plus, the girl's comments still stung, if only because he--and the rest of the world--should have known of children being abused. He ran hand through his hair as a little boy wandered over sleepily and reached his hands up. Easily enough, he picked up the child and looked at the small one thoughtfully.
"Wonder if all the stories are true," he mumbled to himself. "Doesn't look like it, though." Ruffling the boy's hair, he glanced behind him one more time.
"I think your overseer's about to come back..." he said softly, going to close and lock the door.

SIenna started to panic a little. "this early?" she stepped out of the way and immediatly a teenager took over. THey all desperatly wanted to get out. She bit her lower lip but she could her the footsteps now aswell.
THIs couldn't be happening. owh god.. no, relax, breath in, breath out. "do you know anything we could do to help? make reflections of the kids, you know anagrams or whatever they are called to fool her?" Her eyes started to swift around, teenagers were climbing over the window top now. "no, lock it and well be off before she even knows it"
She walked towards the window again and lifted a teenager. There were only a few so it was quit easy. "come boy, shut the door and help, we haven't got all day"

"Door shut, although if that will do any good is still highly questionable," Chrono replied with a hint of sadness.
He made his way back to the window and helped the last of the children out the window. For a moment only he and Sienna remained in the room, and of them he was staring out now. He contemplated her ideas, but he knew that he could only do what a human being could, and right then, it wasn't near enough. Finally, he chewed on his lip for a moment.
"Get out of here and take your charges. I'll stay and hopefully your overseer will not want to harm someone who doesn't belong in a Holding House," he said finally. "It's my fault I made her so angry, so I may as well be the one to take the brunt of her anger."

She looked to Nami and nodded "yes. Well, he can travel even further but that takes to much energy. And he's a good friend. Only ask him to travel that much distance when it is a real 100% emergency. But now we are far enough allready from the gaurds, and with a little walk we can do a little shadowwalk to the food" she smiled friendly while she walked towards the north.
"Have all kinds of stuff at home, from simple bread to great pieces of meat with potatos" Nodding she looked to them "It's not that I'm rich, I just learned how to make all kinds of things myself. That's alot cheaper then walking into somekind of uuhhh how is it called uh... shop, yeah shops are way to expensive."

Sienna looked at him with big eyes. "you can't do that" she called out." she looked at the children and then back at the boy. "look, boy, tell me you're name, get out of the window and take the children out of this city, you know the city, I don't, so move it"
Then she walked to the door, opened it and then closed it behind her, immediatly staring in Cruella's eyes. She blinked, Cruella blinked and then slowly Cruella's hand went to the handle of the door. But Sienna slapped it away. "don't think so" she said shortly. "get out of my way" cruella hissd, but inside there were doubts. Would the children leave without Sienna? the boy had probably allready let with hurry so why do so much effort? but then again, it was a good reason to hit her and you had to be sure, or else she would be in for it.
Cruella was thinking, about something for sure. And, probably without noticing, her hand sneeked up. Without thinking Sienna hit Cruella right in her stomach. She took a step back as she heared Cruella giving a high scream and then groan in pain.

Nami's eyes widened at the thoughts of so much food. They'd only ever been given enough to keep them alive at the holding houses. She silently fell into step behind Fea, suddenly feeling very tired. It wasn't as much the running that had tired her out as the stress. Worrying about how she would escape, worrying about getting cought, worrying about what she could do after she escaped. She thought about that one again. What am I suppossed to do? I don't really have any useful skills, well... none except for 'that thing' but I'm not suppossed to let anyone know about that. She sighed deeply, shivvering slightly against the cold wind.
