The boxes are so cute! heart I wish a store around here would sell them, because I would definitely buy one! whee For some reason I thought obento boxes were made out of wood or something woven. xp I guess plastic is more convenient, but I thought it would affect the flavor of the food. (I'm such a nerd when it comes to food. sweatdrop )

That's so awesome! xd a spade box and a heart box whee I was wondering though, do you dip the apples in anything to keep them from turning brown? (we usually dip ours in lemon juice)
I just ordered a bento box on ebay, so I should receive it in about a month stare .... the waiting! xp When I was looking at the ones available on ebay, I saw one that said it was a table top obento box, it was five levels, antique porcelain,... and it was about $200 eek ... so obviously I didn't buy it. The one I ordered is two levels, blue with dragonflies on it. heart It was only about $15 including shipping, so it's not that expensive. (considering about half of the cost was shipping sweatdrop ) I can't wait til it gets here.

exclaim I think that naruto stuff looks awesome, maybe you could put up a recipe for that. whee heart
question For the octopus weiners, do you just cut those and boil them like that? 'Cause those are really cute. xd question That furikake stuff you use to make designs on the rice, I'm not sure if we have that in America. Is it just a colored sugar powder, or is there more to it? question Do you think that cupcake molds would work for rice molds, or should I just order 'rice molds' from ebay, or do I even really need rice molds for a good obento? question What is your favorite kind of tsukemono? Do you make them yourself, or do you buy them at the store? (Because most of the pickles in America are just assumed to be cucumber pickles.)
(I'm asking a lot of questions. xp )

Aiko_589 MalfoyKoibito question Do you think that cupcake molds would work for rice molds, or should I just order 'rice molds' from ebay, or do I even really need rice molds for a good obento? cupcake mold? just order cupcake mold from ebay What I meant was, if I don't have a rice mold, and I already have a cupcake mold, do you think a cupcake mold would work instead?
