Shiyaa soon stood, hearing his little sister coming to find him. He quickly climbed the tree, a branch snagging and ripping the expensive cloth, but he didn't care. From one of the branches, the youkai jumped easily on a roof, glaring down below.

He'd been kneeling for what? The past hour? Two hours? Artemis had lost track of how long exactly he had been obediently still on one knee beside one of his Lords while the rest of the court mingled with feigned interest. The only time he was permitted to stand was when someone needed a refill of wine across the room when the flask was just beside them. His silver eyes focused on the pattern of engraved lines on the floor, making sure not to wander too far out to make him look as if he were day-dreaming. He was thankful he was so used to this or else his limbs would be stiff for sure.
A hand, his Lord Orvil's hand, came to rest on the back of his neck. The only movement he made was a slight tilt of his head to let him know he was listening. "Apparently another traitor has dislodged himself from his loyalties to us," the noble explained. "We may send you out this evening to find and eliminate him."
Artemis only nodded. Nothing unusual. This was one of the things he was used for afterall when no one else wanted to get their hands dirty. Later, he would be equipped with the proper weapons and sent out to find and kill the one who turned their backs on them.

Elliot blinked. The one who had been there moments before seemed to have vanished. He had taken his eyes from him only for a moment and suddenly he was, gone. But the surprise didn't last like. Like all his emotions, it seemed to quickly be submurged under his mask and he soon returned to his usual blank state. Feeling he had most likely been gone long enough for his parents to "need" him, he reentered the party. He was quite unnoticed - after all, who would bother to look at someone so blank, even if he was dressed up prettily? He came to hault as he saw a man kneeling. He was sure that same man had been kneeling since the start of the party. A man was talking to him and then left, but the man still did not get up from his kneeling position. Curious, he walked silently to the other and asked, "Doesn't it hurt to stay like that for so long?" Elliot knew nothing of these "real dolls." He had never been told much of anything - after all, why would anyone tell their doll anything?

: biggrin romius opened his eyes suddenly thrown from his state of Zen. Noticed a boy climb up on to the rooftop he was standing on. At first he payed him no mind but hen he saw the clothes he was wearing. His subsided rage began to rise once again. If he hadnt had self control he would have thrown him off the roof to the fires below. He sighed deeply and turned around and started for the boy his arms crossed tightly against his chest.::
"Little boy should you be down there having fun with your people? Im sure they wouldnt approve of you dirtying yourself. They must have spent a pretty penny to get you those clothes with the hard earned money they got from their laborous jobs"
: biggrin romius couldnt help but smile at his obvious sarcasim. He placed on hand on the hilt of one of the blades at his side. He was an excellent fighter and he knew it too. When he first started training, he was the best out of all the students. He first fought with two swords that he said were 'very light'. They happened to be the heaviest two handed swords that were made in the city. His unique fighting style revolved around the strength he had in his arms. He could cleave off an opponents head faster than you could drink down a shot of hard liqour with less difficulty::

"Considering I hand-make my clothes, I'd say they didn't," While his words seemed rude, there was nothing in his voice but kindness," As for them being my people...well, I'd have to disagree...they are all greedy fools, who do nothing at all......" He said simply, examining the torn cloth. He could fix it easily later.

: biggrin romius crossed his arms once again smling at the boy. This one was different from the other Magic users in the city. He seemed to have a brain unlike his half witted compatriots. He disregarded the boys demeanor and began to turn toward the comotion below::
"Theres hope for you yet boy but either way, im rather fond of my solitude. SO i suggest you leave and find another place to stand around before i knock you off this roof top myself"

That didn't sound to be a question one of his Lords would ask. A very small lift of his head and his eyes darted up to catch the sight of the young boy before dropping to the floor once more. "Not all the time," he answered, his voice sounding strong even though he kept it lowered. "But the pain does not matter. It is only a feeling. Something that I must ignore to overcome." In fact, his right knee, the one bent to the hard floor below, was indeed sore. It never bruised from kneeling for so long, though. His own artificial body was able to endure pain better than the average body, taking less damage.

"As you wish. I was just escaping, that is all. I had no idea anyone was up here," He bowed low and turned, waving a hand slightly as he began to walk away, hopping onto the roof of a different building and making his way back to his own house. He'd fix his kimono there, then enjoy as much quiet as he could get.

: biggrin romius felt nothing as hte boy left. He could feel his voice quiver alittle at feeling at fault but to him it didnt matter. As far as he was concerned he wasnt pu ton this world to make friends. He was just there to fight anything he didnt deem was right. He had always thought this way. He decided he would never stop fighting the wizards. After what he saw them do and after he knew what they were capable of. After what they did to him his mind was set. Even if he had to take a thousand botls of lighting or feel the heat of a thousand fireballs he would promise to destroy them all. Dromius unshealthed his blades and began to slice at the air a bit trying alleviate his boredom::

As Harmon approched the shore of Tialderoth a thud came before them. They had reached the shore and saw that Zlilphar was tired, "Okay my friend you can rest now," he made a circle with his hand and said, "Return," and the whale disappeared. He started walking toward red light ahead curious of waht kind of event.
In the middle of his walk he saw a Pantheon like holding area were the light led him to. He started on the road and since it was night he couldn't see very well. Harmon stopped and once again he started summoning saying, "I call upon the lord of the valley! I summon you! Come! Equine!" with the clack of his twister a horse shaped creature, "Hello friend come on lets go to the celebration," he smiled and as soon as he got on they zoomed to the area.
When he arrived and put Equine back to his home he started walking to the entrance and saw that there was a figure showing with a wide shadow, "Who is that?"

His own artificial body was able to endure pain better than the average body, taking less damage. Elliot looked vaguely surprised. This person seemed to be another doll, but different from himself. He had always been dressed prettily and shown off - never mistreated physically or mentally, simply left to lie when unneeded - but this man... doll... thing seemed very different from himself. "Then... you don't mind the pain?" His flesh had always been sensitive to pain of any kind, no matter how hard he tried to keep it within himself. It was unbearable in almost all cases. So he was the china doll and this man a toy soldier? Or perhaps a rag doll...?

(<3 Cute ^^)
Did he mind it? He never really had a choice, nor would he if he did mind. This was his place, afterall. "I.. never really thought about it, my Lord," he admitted, blinking as he continued to stare at the ground. He just couldn't place this boy. Who was he? One of the other nobles' sons perhaps? All the more reason he shouldn't lift his gaze or speak in disrespect. Many of the older children were far too stuck up and wouldn't hesitate in creating a far-fetched tale of Artemis' disobedience. "It has always been something that passes."

"I suppose it does... I... I wouldn't know..." Elliot looked up as someone called his name - him mother. Her silver hair illuminated her face like a halo. Apparently, she had been looking for him and had wondered where he had gone. She was glad to see he was alright, that nothing had happened to him. Despite his parents' distance, they were very protective of their doll, their Elliot. Once he had assured her that he was quite fine, she left to talk with some other someone, the topic of her empty son forgotten. "Are you... what are you?" he asked finally. Some people might have felt strange asking such a question, but he was too curious and too cut off from others to know or care.

Artemis had caught the movement of the boy's turned head through the corner of his eye when the name was called. So he was Elliot, was he? "I'm nothing, my Lord" he said, giving the same explanation he had received plenty of times before. Then again, he left out the rest of the speech he basically had memorized by now. He was a heartless, emotionless killer without a soul of his own. "A servant and a war-machine, if you desire an exact answer."

"A war machine? But, I mean... there's no need, right?" He'd never heard about a war going on and he was sure he would have seen some sort of artillery or... something along the streets if there was a real war going on. "I've never heard anything about a war..." He frowned, amethyst shades reflecting confusion. "I... don't understand. Are you... then, are you like me? A doll?" he asked, that bluntly curious expression n his face again.
