today the Mets are beating the Phillies 7-2 and Beltran homered!!! mrgreen meanwhile the Yanks are losing 12-2 to the O´s.

he is my favorite player, what can i say? i don´t know why i like him so much. i just really like all-around good players like Beltran because they play the game the way it should be played.

Mets win 6-3!!! Endy Chavez hit a two-run-homer, David Wright went 2 for 4 with 2 RBI´s, and Carlos Beltran went 2 for 3 with a single, double, two walks, a stolen base, and two runs scored!!! Steve Traschel pitched 7 strong innings, striking out 6 and improving his record ot 12-5!!! Billy Wagner notched his 29th save to help the Mets win their second in a row and improve to 73-48!!!

yeah! yesterday the Mets beat the Rockies 2-0. the Yanks also beat the Red Sox 8-5 and are on the verge of a sweep. sweatdrop

and just like that the Yanks sweep the Sox, winning the last game, 2-1. Cory Lidle got the win, improving his record to 10-9 with a 4.45 ERA. Kyle Farnsworth got the save.
