you know.....I don't get it. That super friends thing they've got.
Pro-choice is more like captain planet: Abortion is a necessary means of saving the earth and keeping the population under control (population bomb and numbers game), a fetal gorilla is more important than a fetal human because it's an endagered species, we're killing the world with our bad, racist, heartless views, and clearly, it's up to them to stop us.

Just need a simplified answer for my simple brain. xp Alright, um, well, see we've got "emissaries" to the ProChoice guild. Back when they were into the money-raising bit, I think there was a bit of competition....who can start a guild first or something. But the competition lives on and we browse through eachothers' posts and get angry; but we're not supposed to quote them really because well, it'd be wrong, some say. But some things just make some of us boill over.

So are we on a treaty with the other guild, or are we still at war? xp by now, we maintain a frustrated alienation, mostly.....they haven't popped in here, don't think we've popped in there, but....have you been to their guild? Pro-Choice Gaiansso there is their guild. We stay out of eachother's way because it's really... It's an emotional topic. We can both argue until we're blue in the face; we both think we're right, we both think that anyone onthe other side is blind, we both think that it's obvious how stupid the other side is being. We both think the other side is selfish and immature, and we both think that there is overwhelming evidence on our side that we're right and can't see why the other side "ignores" it. So, it's not really war. this is just the thread where we allow our frustration to come out among people who share the same beliefs and we quote and argue and ask for opinions on things that they say but we can't reply to. In ED, though, it's war.

I just say to let them stew in their own juices. I've looked around the forum and it's really a bunch of posts saying that a fetus is an apple and that someone's life was "saved" because their mother chose to abort a different child rather than themselves. I haven't honestly seen much intelligent talk, nor heard one explanation for why a child in the womb is an apple/parasite/monkey/goldfish, and four hours later, it's a miracle of human life. I've even heard them accuse pro-lifers of being anti-birth control! Hello? Not all birth control is 100% accurate, and people need to realize that. But of course use it, if you're not trying for a baby. Um .. duh.
Anyway, my point is that I don't see much of a point to replying to .. well .. pretty much all of the threads in that forum. I really don't think we have to get into that here.

For me the big thing that set off this thread, (I'm the one who made it right after a post of theirs made me -really- upset) was that they insulted my banner, called all the girls in our guild sluts, and said they wanted to slap me. A completely innocent but somewhat humorous banner. And I couldn't reply to it. I felt like my legs had been cut from under me, because I couldn't say anything to my tormentors.  ^^That's the banner I made. Do you see anything wrong with it? In part, it makes a point that the Pro-Life guild isn't just men, which is something Pro-'Choice'rs seem to think (That only men would take away 'women's rights.') And in another part, it's complementing all the women in the guild, because they -are- beautiful women. Although, one good thing about my having pent up anger is that it inspired This Song Parady (Please read). 3nodding

I really don't think we have to get into that here. heh....I was "saved" by my mom having polio. Doesn't mean that polio vaccines with live polio should be given so that it might pass from the baby to the mother and partially paralyze (and quite possibly kill) the mother. I was born because of polio, but I'm fully supportive of getting rid of the live vaccine since it's the only way people in the US can get polio at this point. I'm glad it's gone. Actually, if you think about it, something must have happened to everyone's mothers to bring about a person's birth. Think about it. There is about one week where there's a possibilty of us being conceived, I believe. A different sperm, a different egg, a diffferent DNA coding, we wouldn't be who we are. Part of who we are is, unfortunately, our DNA coding that says, this is what you look like, these are the tendancies you're genetically prone to, better watch out for this medical condition, you're gonna get it in fifty years.... Some of those things shape who we are. So if, say, your father was in a car accident the month before the soon to be half of you egg was able to be fertilized, and he was in the hospital a few days and well, no sex(hate to put it that way since thinking about parents having sex is gross)....If he hadn't been in that accident, there's a good chance a different egg woulda been fertilized and you would never exist. I mean, even something years earlier could affect it...maybe you meet your future husband or wife in the emergency room because one of you is working there and the other one got...attacked by a moose or something. So a large string of events that seem like they have nothing to do with you could have brought you about. 'N fact....the holocaust is why my friend is here. Doesn't mean that holocausts should be legal....

Well, I recommend staying out of their guild then. Save your frustration and effort for ED. All they do is vigorously agree with each other in guilds like that anyway. Nothing is accomplished by doing the same thing in this guild. We had numerous posts from Razak's guild stolen by Angsty Shem and placed in ED razz olitics before we ended up going "hidden" on our guild (members only, still listed in the directory). At that point it mattered. But as long as they keep just doing it in their guild, then really, who cares what they do in the privacy of their own guild? They're just there to further their babykilling agenda, while we're here to further our anti-babykilling one. Save the fights for the public threads. If guilds were as bad as ED razz I wouldn't have bothered to join any, I can get my fill of hate in ED.

I understand your point, wench, (Ooh, it's going to be fun being able to say that... ninja ). However, I still thik we should be able to post our frustrations in guild, rather then having to take it to PMs. It's kinda nice to know that you have some people who understand and can pat you on the back while you vent: Rather then having it build up inside you 'till it's strong enough for you to just be pissed at everything.
