Imma fast hand sewer, and I LOVE Project Runway. Everytime it's on, I feel the need to make something for my dolls (which I do). I'm all for that type of contest. Or a Photo contest. I like those too. 3nodding
Also, mebbe we should update the front page's owners+dolls list too?

I think we should make a sticky for people to try to sell things, or promote ebay sales. ^_^

On the subject of a new photo contest there will be one (and yeah "animals" is the theme I was thinking of) but suddenly things have blown up for me offline so I'm gonna wait a few more days before I start planning. The way my work goes is that I'll have long periods of nothing to do then I'll have a week or two where I'm working non stop, staying late, working from home, etc. I'm in that period right now. *L*
Yesterday I got to come home from work and... work! But at least I could watch tv and chat on AIM while doing it.

With regards to the time limit of the sewers in the suggestion I made, I was thinking of making it around a month or two.
Is that enough?

We need to consider a number of people, unless we specify that they need a day each. But that might be hard for those who don't have time. What about a week?

I would suggest a week for the time limit. A lot of gaians can't get on daily but if you can't get on within a week you shouldn't (in my opinion) really be doing contests anyway. That of course doesn't count stuff that pops up when you would otherwise be able to do the weekly thing.

And I'll update it! Someday... ninja Also, for the project runway type thing... You don't necesarrily have to MAKE a new outfit, as I know some of our members can't sew. I think it'd be more like a photo contest elimination type thing, yes?

Two weeks might be a decent time limit. A month seems too long.
We should have them frequently... it'd be fun. I don't see why there couldn't be multiples, also.
If anyone needs help with prizes (which wouldn't have to be big), ask me. I've got gold for this worthy cause.

Like we have weekly photo contests but also have a project runway inspired contest where the theme is announced at the beginning of the month and ends either when everyone entered is finished or the end of the month. Whatever comes first. ^^
