*Coming over the first few sand dunes, with little care of the grains working their way into her shoes, Kalie's foot prints kept in a steady path then stopped a few inches from the surf. The last few becoming nonexistent as she dropped down, and pulled her knees up under her chin. The surf just close enough to lightly lap at her boots, but not enough to soak her to any degree.*

Near the forests are tropical areas that extend out into fertile waters filled with life. At the boundary of the Mountains large metallic structures exit the side of a great volcano that has been long since dormant, the sides caved in destroying the forge and conveyor belts out to the sea. These structures are intended to cool large metallic items by dipping them into the sea, with machines working on them all along the way.
It is on this border that Torment lands, where the fertile forest, endless seas, and volcanic mountains all collide. Steam rises up as beasts dive through water and lava alike, some creative ones even doing awesome looking cannon balls into one or the other by swinging on vines. ^_^

Torment stumbles forward as he crosses the sands, passing under a fallen section of the conveyor belt. He seems to have calmed down, but he now holds a perplexed look on his face. Where the molten rock meets the sea steam rises around an extremely odd looking plant that seemed to grow out from the meeting here. Three entirely different things coming together at one singular point. A pounding headache began to wrack his brain as his mind began grinding away, equating these symbols with images from his past, dulled from his vision. Vague faces shrouded by darkness filled his mind, but they meant nothing to him...

As the forest twists around to meet both the volcanic base and golden waves of the sea.. Kalie's did the same. Her path causing her stray away from the growing heat, favoring the cooler sea breeze, she would eventually emerge farther down the beach from where Torment stumbled out of the trees. The steam rolling of the harsh molten material as it met the cold waves still visible, just not as clear. Standing several feet to the south of Tor, Kalie's eyes searched across the horizon as her tresses whipped around her face, her features blurred at first look.

Tor reached out to touch the small plant, but with his dulled senses and pounding headache his hand came near the molten rock, causing some wrapping that were on his hand to combust. He threw himself back as he thrust his hand into the water, but not before flames of his own broke out over his body for a brief moment, engulfing his hair and surging over where the fluffy puffballs should be on his head. Once his arm was out he noticed his hair seemed to be on fire so he darted out away from the beach, lava, and plantlife to dive into the waters.

While Torment took a dead run for the water, Kalie still searched the coastline and indefinite horizon for movement, it wouldn't be till he neared the waves themselves that her eyes would catch a flicker of color off to the side. Leaving the shoreline, she moved north with care. Her shoes sinking into the sands with each step, the golden walls forming around them crumbling down and filling with water seconds after. Making her movements virtually untraceable to any that weren't within view of the shore.

As Tor plunged into the waters the majority of the flames were not extinguished. The puffballs and his hair had been put out, but the aura of immolation that surrounded him still burned, feeding not off the physical world like a normal flame, but born from his soul. He started thrashing around wildly as he sank underwater to put the flames out, but with no luck. In his panic his two great wings flashed into existance from his back, creating a blast of steam for a brief moment as the flames cooled and stopped relying on the material world. He couldn't understand why the flames wouldn't go out, and combined with a splitting headache and the taking on of water, he might not have to worry about it too much longer, the thought of drowning coming long before burning to death...underwater.

Near the breaking point of the waves, Tor's footsteps were becoming nearly inexistent. The water lapping away what Kalie didn't cover in with her own. Watching him disappear into the dark unknown, she calmly tucked her hands into her pockets.. in both awe and confusion. He was alive.. but what was he doing flapping around in the water like a picturesque wounded bird.
It wouldn't be until after the geyser of steam broke through the first few waves that Kalie would rush in after him. To swept up in the moment to curb the water away from him, she simply followed after Torment, trying to latch onto anything that would provide her some leeway to drag his sorry a** out.

Tor was flapping and flailing rather erratically, but as he continued taking in more and more water he became slower and slower. As Kalie neared him he caught a slight glimpse of her and his headache doubled in intensity. He stopped altogether, trying to hold his head together, as if in fear of it splitting in half. His wings were straight back, but flexible, perfect to grab onto.

Taking hold of his wings as gently as possible Kalie pulled up on them, trying to urge Torment up enough for her to ease an arm around his waist. He was really too heavy for her to just drag up by his wings. Tor was definitely going on a no more then one or two frozen doughnuts a day diet if she got him back in one piece.

Tor wasn't struggling any longer, just trying as hard as posible to keep his head from splitting open.

While Torment battled his past and present, Kalie did her best against the currents. Her arms now hooked around his middle, she pulled him right along with her to the surface after a strenuous amount of kicking and struggling to swim with only one arm. Not to mention her gradually escaping breath, far to many bubbles were soaring to the glassy surface above, from all around them to give her any comfort.. even if she could survive the water, there was still an issue of weather Tor could.

There was only a split seconds notice as the water was split asunder as a pale green and white object darted into the water. It wrapped around the two and with a powerful tug the two flew out from the water, aiming to land on a squishy pale green-white pillow that groans alot.

Coughing Kalie ran a hand through the tangled mess of waterlogged tresses as she began to sit up, if unsteadily. Her legs clumsily tripping and bucking as she tried to move closer to Torment. Enough to make sure he was alive. While part of her tried gather in their surroundings, the last few minutes were still a blur.

The pained groaning continued from under the two as the creature seemed to be continually flattening out and becoming wider and wider, like Jell-O or something melting. Tor remained unconscious, but the blob couldn't stand it anymore, he started shoving them off as he tried to pull to one side to literally pull himself back together.
When enough of him was back in one pieces a gurgling pained voice spilled forth from within, "...Is Mistress OK? Master can heal easy, but Mistress?"
