Tac looked around and shrugged, "I usually sit around and meditate when I'm not eating or shooting stuff. I mean we're in the middle of nowhere with a bunch of glowing rocks." This comment would seem odd to Mystina, to her none of the rocks were glowing at all. Aetas piped up when he heard her question, "Its the only one that isn't glowing, and I'm quite sure it has something to do with me. Each of these twelve stones has lit up after certain events that have opened my eyes to my own past and my coming future. Its amazing...God of Time...who knew."

Tac shurgged, "Hell if I know. I just want them to tone it down a ******** blind over here...wait...you can't see it...can you?" Aetas blinked, "Um,...about two minutes. Were you paying attention or just off in your own little world?"

Aetas shrugged, "Well I knew I was a god, or else I wouldn't be here in MY TEMPLE, but I didn't know I was the God of Time...or that my name is Aetas. Called myself The Forgotten One, which is more ironic than you can know. I was a pagan god around 5 millenia ago, FATE by the way, and I decided it would be my fate to forget. Yeah, that turned out so bad. I'd keep forgetting until I could be born into a life where I could truly be with the love of my li....wait a minute." Tac looked at him, "What're ya thinkin'?" Aetas began pacing, "Ok, think about it. Mystina here cannot see the Pillars' glow, that means they are obvious beyond the mortal scope because you can see it as well. Also, do you remember when we were broken apart?" Tac shook his head, "Not really, why?" Aetas stopped in his pacing, "There was a higher diety, his power much greater than your or mine, well, obviously greater than yours. I felt something about him that I've only felt once before, a pull of some sort. The exact pull I felt when the two of us were seperated." Tac looked confused, "Well how can that be? Theres not another part of us anywhere, else the books would have mentioned it." Aetas looked up to the sky for a moment as clouds began to gather. Flame began to arc through the sky as destruction filled the fields around them. The sky above shattered as it rippled outwards, the wake leaving behind a vast landscape that burned as the hellfires, broken down into five seperate pieces. Plains filled one area, forests another. One area was dominated by mountains and flame born of the earth. The last two area stretched endlessly, a barren waste and a pristine ocean. Aetas and Tac both breathed the same thing, "The Elite Plains..." The images high above were as clear as if they were appearing just before the group, flames roaring across the fields and to the forest as two humanoid shapes arced across the sky, both wreathed in blue flames, whereby Tac and Aetas covered their eyes at the sight of the naked figures. Far below both of those same figures stood with a man in a mask, a great bird-man hybrid, and a beautiful woman with auburn hair reaching down past the small of her back, the grasses around her pristine and growing at a rapid rate, flowers springing up around her to bloom in mere seconds. The bird stood before them and with a flash of green and orange light a single man stood where he had been, robed in orange. He took the beauty and left. Several other short images were shown to the three, each dealing with the bird and a man in orange, abruptly ending as a charred form hit the ground not far from where the three were watching.

Aetas held up a hand, "Leave it, he's not hurt." Tac did a double take as he looked back to Aetas, "WHAT? How the ******** could it not be hurt after falling like that? Especially looking all burned and s**t like that?" Aetas shook his head, "Its called a dramatic entrance." Slowly the form stood up, speaking with a quality to his voice that sounded much like a bird, "Damn you know me so well. Whats up boss?" Aetas shrugged, "Not much. I see your Birdy Yoda talk is gone. It really did annoy the hell outta me you know. Anyway, I'm guessing you're here to give me some grand realization about my godhood now that I ndid all the god damned work?"

The bird-man stared at Mystina as the soot fell from his wings to reveal a rather tall man that was covered in birdlike features. His hands were slightly clawed and his feet were just the same as a bird's talons. His head and wings appeared just as a bird's would, his posture much like a man's. Most of his feathers were the purest white with tips of orange, save for a few near the end of the wings that were a brilliant orange, shimmering in the light. He pushed her away gently, but with the strength greater than that of a man, looking down into her eyes, "We don't pet the bird. We don't poke Boss's bears and we don't pet the Bird, unless you want to be having a quarter-bird child." He bent down to whisper to her, "If you're not busy later I know Boss has a hut around here somewhere, you can pet me all you want, if you behave." Aetas stared at him, "We will not rape my guests." The birdman hmmphed, "Oh come on! Its not like she is a virgin sacrifice like the last one!" Tac added, "Thats for damn sure." Aetas shook his head, "Whatever, just tell me why you're herebefore you turn my temple into a birdy bachelor pad."

The birdman shook his feathers and took on a more regal posture, and then began making an official, rehearsed, announcement, "I AM SENT. Celestial Messenger of Aetas the Father. It Has Been Decreed that thou shalt know thine self! It is Your Will that you know yourself. Sent Has been sent to aid you. SENT HAS SPOKEN." Aetas blinked, "Did you have to be all official and s**t? And what did you mean I sent you?" Sent eased his posture, "I cannot answer that question." Aetas glared at him, "What do you mean?" Sent explained, "You may only ask questions that further your knowledge of yourself." Aetas' glare did not soften, "Ok, so you can come here and try to ******** my guest but you can't answer my questions?" Sent nodded, winking at Mystina, but said otherwise, "I am here only to further your own knowledge, and can only answer those questions petrtaining to it." Aetas threw up his hands, "Damn you. I knew I always hated you. Ok, who is the man that split us into two parts?" Sent smirked, "That man was your predecessor, God of Time." Aetas returned, "Why?" Sent shot back, "Existance of TIME." Aetas didn't catch the pun, but Tac did. Aetas shook his head, "Time would go on without a God to govern it, hell,it would find its own." Sent laughed, "Not what I meant."

Aetas looked at him, puzzled as he continued, "You sent me to talk to you. And now I'm here. Without the two of you being seperated there would have been no one to send me." He waited to see if it sank in, but didn't get a responce as a wave of energy threw all but Aetas to the ground, the Pillars begining to glow so that even Mystina could see them, blinding all others as they covered their eyes. The great pillars of stone began to warp and change, becoming the purest white with flecks of glittering orange as they began to move outward, expanding and growing exponentially.
