Jasmine took her time getting to her mother's room, and hesitated only a bit longer at the door. Once she knocked and pushed the door open a bit more, however, there was no way to continue hesitating. Ecavi woke up fairly easy, used to being woken by a small thule that wasn't so small anymore. Few words were exchanged before they headed back downstairs, both stepping quietly- an indication that Ecavi was not angry about this episode. She wasn't clear on it, for Jasmine didn't know how much to say, but she could tell when her daughter was upset. They both arrived downstairs just when Rhine left Jasmine's room.

"Alright, make sure they take it easy," Ecavi murmured in a hushed voice when they got to the hallway, her intentions were to go to the kitchen while Jasmine intended to go back to the room. She caught sight of Rhine standing in the hallway and decidedly walked into the kitchen. For now, she wouldn't question it.

Jasmine only nodded, not paying much attention to her mother after she spotted Rhine. She headed down the hall to him, "You ok?"

Rhine came out of another yawn in a half state of sleep, and saw Jasmine. He never saw Ecavi. "Fine" He gave a small smile.

"Cassara's whimpering woke me up." He yawned again. "Sleeping in the same house as Vicky has me sleeping light out of habit. Even if my door was locked, I always kept my guard up." He yawned again. "Thought since I was up, I'd go to the bathroom." He pointed to the bathroom door, and yawned again.

Rhine was slowly waking himself up. He could manage on little sleep if needed, and nap later. "I hate to free load. If your mothers up, I can fix us breakfast." Since working he'd learned quickly how to cook.

Jasmine came to a stop by her door, leaning against the wall to talk to Rhine. She did notice that he only seemed to see her, but didn't mind. She returned the smile, glad to hear that he was ok- but it didn't last as he explained why he was awake. She glanced to the door sadly, then back at Rhine.

"No, you don't need to do anything, Rhine," she said in an almost scolding tone. There was a pause and she considered what she was saying, maybe it would be better to keep busy but to her, rest was one of the better options. "You should rest," she added.

Rhine smiled simply. "I don't rest well on an empty stomach. Let me fix breakfast, and then I promise to take a nap."

Rhine took Jasmine's hand, and with a slight limp went to the kitchen. He pulled out a seat for Jasmine. He still didn't notice Ecavi.

It took him several minutes, but soon a knife and cutting board was in hand. He opened her fridge, and pulled out eggs, baccon, cheese, and peaches.

Rhine cut the bacon into little squares, and cooked this first. Then he made scrambled eggs with the baccon grease.

Rhine put a lid over the bowls, and sat them on the table. He gratted the cheese next. Saving the peaches for last. He cut them into thin strips, likes fries and fried them. He found honey in the cabnet and drapped it over the peaches.

Cassara could smell a fried peach from a mile away had slithered into the kitchen. This happened to be her favorite for breakfast.

Rhine sat a plate with peaches on the side, and smiled at Cassara. Then the rest he put in a bowl with a lid. Next he retrieved 6 plates, forks, and knives.

Rhine set the sink up with hot soapy dish water, and cleaned his mess, then he turned around a leaned on the counter. It didn't take him but 15 minutes.

In the 15 minutes it took Rhine to make breakfast, Jasmine stayed seated in the chair Rhine took her too and watched him from there. She occassionally offered help finding certain items to make the process quicker, but let him fix everything himself. While watching she did take the time to wonder if there was anything she'd need to be able to do since he is multi-talented. Ecavi didn't stay long after Rhine came into the kitchen, though she did watch him start cooking for several minutes. She did notice, too, that she didn't even get a greeting. Instead of waiting around, she headed back out of the kitchen just when Ceri was coming down the stairs. For now, they would wait in the living room while Rhine cooked breakfast- Ecavi would not assume breakfast was being made for everyone, for there certainly would be a lot to make. The sounds and smells were starting to wake others up.

"You're quite the cook," Jasmine commented with a smile, nodding a greeting to Cassara when she came into the kitchen.

"Thank You. I sometimes stay extra hours at the Cafe for practice. I start culinary and business classes in two weeks." Rhine smiled, he'd forgotten the pain for a moment. "I'll go and get your mother. She can get your siblings then we can start eating. I sat out 6 plates, if we need more can you get them?"

Cassara smiled towards Jasmine. Before Rhine left the kitchen he kissed Jasmines cheek. He found his way to the living and saw Ecavi.

"Morning. Thank You for allowing me into your home on such short notice. I am sorry that I didn't use the door." He used a polite voice. "Breakfast is ready. I was hoping you and your children would join us." He smiled. "Bacon, Scrambled Eggs, Cheese, and Fried Peaches." He paused. "If there is something else you preface I can cook it for you."

"Oh, very good," Jasmine smiled at Rhine, "For the cafe you want to open, right?" She grinned, and after a brief pause went on to explain how she knew, "Your mother told my mother, who told me." However, she didn't care to say it was so she would start thinking about what she wanted to do, and that she had thus far failed at that.

"We'd only need one more place, but I know Myze won't be up and Tabby might like to wake in her own time," she explained with a smile, then pecked Rhine on the cheek in return as he went off to find her mother. Jasmine didn't bother to point out where her mother went, she knew he'd see her.

Ecavi was sitting in the living room with the TV on low, with Ceri sitting next to her staring intently at the screen. This early in the morning, the only thing on TV really was infomercials. They were watching one particular one for an 'amazing' vacuum, and despite this Ceri seemed to be enjoying herself. Ecavi was the only one to look up when Rhine appeared in the doorway, and she managed a small smile at him. It was not a time to be angry, she reminded herself, one must get used to him- or get used to the fact one has already gotten used to him.

"It's not a problem, Rhine. Jasmine did say it was an emergency," she replied in the same polite voice, "It was nice of you to make breakfast." She shook her head to the offer of making something else, and got to her feet, remote in hand. Ecavi glanced back at Ceri, who was no longer looking at the TV but looking from Rhine to Ecavi, and then she pushed the off button.

(i just died laughing at the thought of the amazing vacuum)

"It was my pleasure to cook for you and yours. I can cook or bake just about anything so if you change your mind just let me know." Rhine smiled uneasily. Now that he was moving more he was reminded of the pain.

Rhine as he was walking forward, remembered his zipper. He fixed his pants, but left the button undone. If he had buttoned his pants they'd be rubbing into the gash on his stomach.

In the kitchen Rhine pulled out the chairs, and sat out the plates and forks in front of the chair.

Rhine pulled off the lids, and put dipping spoons into the bacon squares, cheese, and eggs. And a fork for the peaches. He smiled softly. "Help yourselves."

Rhine took the covered plate and sat it on the floor, with a fork. After fixing himself a plate he himself sat on the floor next to Cassara so she wouldn't feel too out of place.

"Thank You. You don't have to sit with me Rhine." Cassara smiled at her brother.

"Leave you on the floor alone? It's alright." Rhine yawned, and then looked from Cassara to Jasmine. "After breakfast and nap, I'm going to have to go and clean the rest of the mess up." He sighed. "Then, I suppose I'll sell the place. Use the money to buy a new place. I hate moving. I think I'm going to buy a two story and have the Cafe on the bottom." He smiled ever softly.

Cassara snorted, as she ate her peaches. "You've got a whole two boxes, and a sofa. Woo-hoo!"

Rhine shot a look at Cassara. "No amount of money could make me keep that sofa... Its not the stuff that's the problem, it is the furnishings. I'm going to have to take into account of needing new everything..." Rhine sighed as he finished his eggs. "I'll worry about Cafe arrangements after I get use to juggling Jasmine and school and work and mom and you and my other sisters and the island and working out and violin... Could always drop school and work, and wing it..."

Rhine yawned and stretched. Lack of engry found him rambling.

"Brother your going to work yourself to death. No wonder mom only sees you for an hour a day." Cassara finished the peaches. She then looked around the room. "Errr were we just talking to ourselves... You know that's rude." She blushed.

Rhine after eating was already half asleep. "Wake me up to do the dishes." His tail wrapped around his leg. The waist line of the front of his jeans was becoming a darker red.

Cassara rolled her eyes. "You'll have to excuse him." She who had napped had some energy to burn.

"Well, thank you, Rhine," Ecavi said gratefully, "I'll be sure to let you know if there's anything more we need, though I'm sure I could manage it myself. You just enjoy your breakfast." Her tone was friendly, even though he had arrived so early and she had noticed that Rhine's pants were not zippered up. Ceri, too, had noticed his pants were undone and was giggling to herself when she got up off of the couch.

Jasmine was sitting at the table, already getting some of the food onto her plate. She didn't take any bacon, and only took a little of each of the other dishes. Scrambled eggs were not her favorite, but she'd eat some. The peaches were a mystery, but she'd try it. Ceri hopped happily onto a chair, reaching out to serve herself at once- immediately overloading her plate without a second thought to it. She may have gotten older, and more mature, but when it came to food she was quite generous with herself.

"It looks great!" she squeaked happily, smiling down at Rhine when he took a seat on the floor. The day thule was quite tempted to hop down and sit on the floor when them as well, but settled for her chair. Ecavi sat in her own chair, and waited for everyone else to get some food before serving herself. She didn't take nearly as much as the others, but she was well aware that enough of Ceri's would be left over and she would just take that.

Jasmine ate slowly, looking down at Rhine as he took a spot on the floor with a smile. She listened as he explained his plans for a new home and cage, and nodded when he concluded. "That sounds like a plan," she said, "I think it'd make the whole cafe thing easier, living in the same building." Her eyes went to Cassara when she made fun of the amount of stuff he had to move, and winked at her instead of outright laughing.

Ecavi was listening intently as Rhine listed off all the things he had to worry about, giving Jasmine a pointed look. Jasmine did notice and stuck her tongue out at her mother for a second, then looked back to the Rhine and Cassara. It was Jasmine, the only one with a clear view of Rhine, who noticed that he was bleeding. She gasped and pushed her chair back to get up, "Rhine, you're bleeding again. You need to go lay down and stay there.."

Ceri blinked, leaning over in her chair to look at Rhine curiously, "What happened to him?"

Hearing Jasmine's voice, he opened his eyes slowly. He was some where between half asleep and awake. "Bleeding..." He looked down at his pants and sighed. "Good thing I brought spares." He muttered.

He put a hand to the floor, and pushed himself to stand. He bent down, and took Cassara's empty plate. He put her and his own plate into the dishwater. Once they were clean, he dried them off and put them up. He turned around, and leaned on the counter, pain was very apparent on his face. "I'll be fine Jasmine." He smiled reassuringly/ He waited for everyone to finish so he could do dishes.

Cassara stretched the length of herself out.

Jasmine stood up and kneeled down beside Rhine to help him while Ecavi hushed Ceri. The day thule kept her head tilted towards her plate, but her eyes wandered to where Jasmine, Rhine and Cassara were. She even followed him over to the sink, and stopped him before he even started washing them.

"Rhine, listen to me," she said in a serious tone, "You have to stop, you need to lay down and stay there. You're not going to heal if you keep walking around, I don't think walking it off is going to help here."

Ecavi watched, taking Ceri's plate when the girl finished with hers and setting it infront of herself. She was somewhat impressed with how Jasmine tried to handle the situation, as well as Rhine's dedication, even if she agreed with Jasmine and felt it was foolish right now. Ceri was watching Rhine with concern, she wasn't much for blood and it was starting to make her queasy.

"Rhine, I'd just do as she says," Ecavi said, finally standing up and bringing Jasmine and her plates from the table to the sink, "I can do the dishes, and I won't have you tracking blood around the kitchen more than necessary." The last comment, while serious, was almost a joke. As long as he didn't lose too much blood, or took it easy, he should be alright, but blood wasn't easy to clean up. It would definetely have to be cleaned up before everyone else got up, that was for sure.

Rhine nodded his head soflty. "I'm going to take a bath first." He then turned and headed off to the bathroom.

Cassara watched him go, and then sat on her haunches. "He's stuborn." She paused. "I'd better go after him before he does something stupid."

Rhine was undressed and laying in cold water when Cassara entered. "Brother."

Rhine looked to his sister, and sighed. "I'm fine, go away."

Cassara rolled her eyes. "You're not..."

Ecavi watched Rhine go, eyeing the blood on the floor momentarily. When she looked back up, she noticed that Jasmine was lingering behind by the sink, though her eyes were on the hallway where Rhine had gone. With a shake of her head, Ecavi shooed Jasmine, "Go, go, you take care of them. Ceri, why don't you help with the dishes? You can dry some of the light ones for me."

"Ok!" Ceri said enthusiastically and hopped off her chair finally. She headed for the sink, clambering onto the counter with some help from her wings and guardian.

Jasmine nodded to her mother and then followed Rhine and Cassara down the hall to the bathroom beside her room, not long after Cassara had gone. She knocked gently on the door and walked in, "Rhine?" Her eyes went to the bath as soon as she walked in, noticing the color of the water right away- it wasn't exactly pretty.

"Rhine, you'll need to get some bandages or something on those cuts," she murmured, closing the door behind her.

Rhine shifted in the water. "I'm not going to the hospital." His eyes rolled back into his head as he was washed over in pain.

"I told you stubborn." Cassara sighed.

Rhine slipped further into the tub, his tail hug haphazard off the side. He took a deep breath.

Jasmine crossed her arms, looking down at Rhine, "If you have to go to the hospital, you will go to the hospital. Or I will personally take you to your mother. Rhine, this is serious. You have to atleast let me bandage you up, it'll make it more comfortable."

Without another word, she went over to the sink and knelt down to root through the cupboard beneath it. She was sure they had some guaze or something to use for this kind of thing.
