Nyek chuckled lightly. "this oasis is full of surprises." the slamon lord lead the pale female through the trees. As they broke through the shadows they came to a clearing, the trees surrounded it on all sides. In the center stood five tall stones, each one standing upright withotu any support seemingly. It was a mans worshiping place and it was Nyekundus training grounds. "These are the standing stones." He paused and waited, most were impressed by the strange stones, even he was oddly awed by them. Though he did not know exactly why.

Malika gazed all around her in awe. She had a hard time believing that she was in such beauty. "Surpises indeed, lord." Malika replied agreeing with him. There were many things she thought she would never see and yet she saw them.
Then the pair came upon the stones. She tilted her head confused on how they stood on their own with no support, they didn't have legs to keep them steady. "Do you know how they stand on their own?" She asked him

Nyekundu looked up at the stones. the question was one he had asked himself many a time. he wondered if the stones had grown out of the ground, thats what they seemed to do though he supposed thatwas near impossible. "I truely don't know. I belive they are here for the simple purpose to help m train our pride to be strong." He smirked, it was a strange thing to say perhaps but the salmon lord beleived the stones were put here for him.

The looked to her as they did to him. As if they were growing out of the ground, yet she knew that they were not. How ever they stood it was amazing. "I believe that is reason enough for them to be here." Malika meant every word she was say for she believed that reason. The main reason was because it seemed like a perfect place to train.
"Perhaps it is the gods gift to you?" She spoke once more looked up at the larger and older lion.

Nyekundu chuckled his golde eyes dancing "I like to think so." Streching slightly the big salmon male yawned a little his gazxe turning on Malika. "I beleive it's time we got back to the main oasis. I have a daughter to feed" stretching his toes slightly he turned away fromt he great stones. "Perhaps we can pick up something on the way back hmm?" he smiled lightly heading for the trees they had just come through.

Malika turned her gaze back to the tall standing stones with a smile on her maw. Then when Nyek spoke she turned and nodded. "As you wish." The white lioness spoke as she began to follow him. "I will be honored to hunt for your daughter."

Nyek smiled lightly. So innocent. He partially felt sorry for the pale female, to him she was simply a thing to be used until she came to the end of her life. Smiling he gave a nod passing through the trees in silence.
"we should find some anilope on our way back I will help." He rolled his eyes, on occassion the salmon tinted king hunted. He was in the mood for killing something so he might as well hunt it. " this way" He turned away from the path back to the main oasis heading for a stretch of open greenery, it was some what like the savannah only more green and lush, creatures didn't migrate from the oasis, it was a place where the land constantly flourished.

"Antilope it shall be." Malika said agreeing with him. The female then turned away from the main path on his trail. She made sure that she was never too far behind him and she also kept her eyes out for Antilope. When she did spot one she slowed to a halt and crouched down wondering if Nyek had seen the creature himself.

The big male smiled slinking low, though he looked back at Malika and nodded sneakign around the beast. His plan was to runt he creature towards Malika for her to capture it he just had to get all the way around.
It was an easy enough task. The salmon tinted male had longed learned how to vanish, how to be silent. Of course his silence didn't last very long as he came hurtling from the long grass with a loud roar.
he smirked as the antilope startled and he gave chase. He would help to bring it down but Malika would have to make the kill.

Having blended in quite well the white lioness waited until the perfect to attack the antilope. The antilope was only a few feet away when she attacked. Her attack was well planned and the antilope was caught off guard. Sinking her teeth into the neck of the animal. The Shock of the attack caused the antilope to stop moving before it tried to run only to fall to the ground.
Releasing her grip on its neck she took a step back ready if the creature was still able to move.

Nyek came to a crashing stop atrop the antilope holding it down while it took it's last breath. He looked to Malika and nodded, waiting until she had released to stand and grab the beast by the throat. he said nothing, simply dragging it back towards the built up area of the oasis. This had to feed the pride. A pride marched on it's stomach.

Malika, to put it simply, was proud of herself, of course she probably wouldn't have done so well if she was by herself but none the less she was proud. She waited until he was a little ahead of herself before she started to follow him. She kept her eye out for anything else just incase they would need more. "Do you think this will be enough, lord?"
She had asked just incase and she knew that she would be able to carry more if the need be.

Nyekundu gave a single nod. The creature would eb enough. It was a large doe antilope, possibl pregnant, she would provide them plenty of sustinance for this evening.
Dragging the beast without much efforst seemingly the salmon tinted lord dropped the beast at the waters edge and smiled at Malika "Well done little one" he whispered at last heading for one of the beasts forelimbs he pulled it off with a crack. Laying it down for a moment the golden eyed male watched the pale female "Eat your fill before the others arrive. You've done well" he whispers picking up the large meaty leg and heading off towards his own quarters. This was his though he would give some to his daughter. Everyone else could eat fromt he communal meal but this peice belonged to him.

Malika returned his smile with one of her own "Thank you, lord." Then the pale female watched him as he tore off one of the forelimbs. She did nothing, since she found it was best to let him have his fill before even attempting to touch the meat.
"I thank you once more, lord." Malika replied to him bowing her head and didn't raise it until she knew he was gone and she was out of his sight. Taking a step forward she proceeded to take a bite of the antilope, near its flank. After a few moments she was full and walked toward the water to clean the blood off of her fur.
