Blitz hurried inside the door and locked it behind him. He was unsure of what was inside, but whoever it was out there knew his real name and that was enough for him to want away from the hallway.

She knocked on the door. "Please...it's Claire...Claire Hodges? We met at the party. Katherine said you lived next door to her. I'm supposed to stay with her, but she's not here, and..."

((He doesn't remember that. a lot has gone on since that... and he watches professional actors all day long as a job... Add in the fact that his face is covered, he's wearing different clothes, and his hair is a different color and you got a reason for suspicion.))

"I was getting a headache, from the noise, I thought, but then there was like a 'snap', and just then I saw a flash, like a camera flash, and my head felt better, for a moment. It happened two more times, just the same way. I...I think I made those flashes happen somehow... I think I might be turning into one of those 'supers'!"

Sadly, there was no answer. Blitz had taken off down the fire escape before he could hear the last part.

Laurel paused, but didn't hear anything. "Scott?" she called out, but there was no answer. "Damn, he's done it again!" She went into her own apartment, and carefully removed all traces of 'Claire Hodges' before going back out to the streets, this time as herself. If she saw Blitz again, she had some words for him.
