doc.hyphae Liquid_Snake88 eye_em_smart_124 Even if they don't make the playoffs, I think Ortiz will still get the award. Jeter is overrated. He's not clutch like Ortiz. Hell, I think MAUER has a better chance at AL MVP. no way, joe mauer is not close to winning MVP. but his team mate Morneau has a slight chance in winning it. also Thome and Bad Vlad has a chance if he can win the AL West since he is the only offense on the team. Plus Jeter aka Captin Clutch has a very good chance bc the ppl who vote like that he plays defense(very well) and is a great hitter. plus he would have a better chance if he was in the 3 spot of the lineup to raise his stats. cause his main job in the 2 spot is to advance the runner and get on base that´s true, but i still think if Ortiz played 1st base or something else he would have the MVP award in the bag. some how they always seem to pick the big sluggers. Jeter does have a good shot. no they dont they picked a rod last year because he played defence and because there offence was evenly matched so they couldnt decide and then then went with the more all around player

yeah, they are incredible ball players. seriously, i can´t think of 10 outstanding white players right now, but i could probably make a list of 30 latinos/blacks.
