Hinote cooed at the hand gesture that Sachiya did. o.o Ooooh, she wanted to try that! After a lot of finger fumbling, Note was able to form a heart. Yay! But she had a cool idea--bringing the shape close to Sachiya's face, she told him, "Bloooooooow." A mischievous grin tugged at her lips. Hehe. The shadowy feathers had retreated to the objects they mimicked before.
Rei smiled, "Thanks," was all she was able to say.

Hinote giggled at Sachiya's reaction. Well, he got his mouth right! Now, he just had to blow. Hmm... maybe she should show him. She brought her hands closer to her mouth, and blew some air through the "hand heart". "Got iiiiit?" Hinote asked. Hopefully that was clearer!
"Well, I haven't met too many of the families myself, but I do know some people who are older children of some of the parents." Rei replied. "Like me, some of my friends are fa'e, and they tell me a bit about their family. They are really kind."

Would she show him how? Watching Note intently, he tilted his head as she blew through the heart her fingers made. Was that what he was supposed to do? Well that was easy! Nodding brightly, he repeated what she had done, still keeping the "Booo" to help him make the mouth shape.
"Kind is good." Chibi replied, thinking about what she said. "Besides the single parents, are they all male/female couples?" He asked thoughtfully, after a pause.

As Sachiya blew through the heart, a shadowy bubble formed in the same shape from Note's fingers until it was free to float as it pleased. Hinote giggled--Shadow bubbles were better than real bubbles. They would be any shape she wanted and lasted longer! Hehe. She often made them while in the band offices at Yuu's school when she was waiting for mommy and daddy to finish practice. As much fun as it was, it freaked out Kidani a whole lot--especially the time she made a cockroach out of a shadow bubble that floated towards him and he popped it. That one, Danielle suggested to her.
But maybe Sachiya would appreciate her shadow bubbles more? She gave him a "what do you think?" look, tilting her head to the side as the heart bobbed up and down before them. heart
Rei tried to remember anything that Yuu and Nohiro told her about their visits to the place. "Hmmm... I think they're quite a lot of all male/female couples around, from what I heard. It's wonderous what people can do these days so that they could have a child of their own, ne? I think it's great."

O_O Sachiya stared at the bubbles, clearly fascinated. What was that? It was see through like glass was, yet it didn't look hard like glass was. How strange, and yet awesome at the same time. These shadow things were so cool! He wanted to be able to do that! Maybe Note could teach him sometime! Reaching out curiously to touch one, he gave a loud squeak as it popped, ears flat back in shock. Oh no! He had popped the bubble! Sniffling slightly, he nibbled on the head of his octopus, ears drooping sadly. He had popped a bubble. T___T
"Aa." Chibi agreed, grinning. "This place is great, from what I've heard, helping people who normally can't have children. Works for gay couples too. Added bonus, wouldn't you say?"

Aww, he was sad! Hinote didn't want him to be sad. "It okies," she tried to comfort Sachy, patting him lightly. "See? Me make more bubbles." And she did. Little shadow bubbles surrounded them, dancing around. "They go 'pop' after a while, but me can make more. So, it okies." Hinote wrinkled her nose a bit. That was the longest sentence she ever spoke! Hmm... odd. Speaking was weird. She liked Luna's way of speaking better. Much more clearer.
Rei nodded, agreeing. "Love's blind, after all. It's great for those couples, seeing how they might have thought they couldn't have a child until now."

Okies? Sachiya's ears lifted slightly as she pet him. Was it okay he had popped the bubble? Note wasn't mad? Ears perking up instantly as she made more bubbles, he giggled, leaning in to give his friend another affectionate lick. She was the best! "Moh!" He repeated, clapping his hand happily. Yay! More bubbles!
"Or didn't know they could have children." Chibi added, more to himself really. "I think this place's pretty neat."

Yay! Sachiya was happy again! Hinote clapped along with him, as more bubbles surrounded them... In fact, it was starting to get just a weeee bit out of hand.
Before Rei could agree, she was interrupted by bubbles starting to flooding the room. Her brow furrowed. "Where... where are all these bubbles coming from...?" She then looked at Hinote. How did she do that? This little girl was always surprising people.

EEP! They were getting surrounded by bubbles! Sachiya flailed, starting to get frightened. Where was Note?! He couldn't see around all these bubbles. So he did was came naturally. Cry.
Before Chibi could response, Sachiya started crying, the mass amount of bubbles scaring the baby. Gently scooping the boy into his arms, he held him close, attempting to soothe him. Darn bubbles.

Hinote was confused. Uh... why won't the bubbles stop? o_________o Erm.. stop bubbles... stop! Stop! STOP! .... please? She then could hear Sachiya's cries. Gah! What was happening? She started to cry to, the tears flowing down her cheeks. Why couldn't she stop them?!
"There there, Note-chan," Rei attempted to calm down Hinote as she cradled her in her arms. "What happened? You okay?"
Bleary eyed and sobbing, the little girl's words were shaky and choked. "M-me... I-i-i... I dunno!" As she sobbed on her sister's shoulder, the bubbles slowly disappeared into wisps.
The fa'e just shook her head, and hushed her as best as she could. "It's all right, it's all right. They're gone." she then looked at Chibi, and noticed that Sachiya was crying as well. "I'm so sorry about this. Note here has been excercising her little gift... she's still trying to control it, really..." Her voiced trailed off, as she glanced down at Hinote.
The little girl was looking at Sachy. Awww... look what she did! What a bad friend she was.... Her glowing eyes dimmed, ashamed. She was a bad girl... making her new friend cry...

Hearing Note cry only made Sachiya cry harder, frightened. His friend was upset too! What were they going to do?! Burrowing into Chibi's shirt, the boy wailed, wanting all the bubbles to go away. They were making Note cry! And a crying Note made Sachiya cry too. He was frightened!
Running his hand gently over the little wisps of hair Sachiya possessed, Chibi whispered soothing words to him, attempting to comfort the frightened boy. Who ever knew bubbles could be frightening? He was quite relieved when the bubbles finally turned into wisps, gently coaxing Sachiya to look and see that the coast was clear. The tanuki's gaze lifted when Rei spoke, giving a small, apologetic smile. "It's all right. I think it just spooked him."
Once the bubbles disappeared, the baby finally peeked out from Chibi's shirt, sniffling. Bubbles gone? After a few careful looks around, one of his drooping ears slowly lifting a little. It was safe again?

Hinote's head hung low, staring at her hands as everything settled. Control? What was control? Like... like that rectangle thingy that turned on the TV? Now, she was afraid to do anything. What if she scared Sachiya again?
"Is he ok now?" Rei asked. Hinote's ears perked, but was afraid to look up now.

Resting his chin on Sachiya's head, he attempted to get the boy to release his shirt from tightly clenched hands. "Easy, darlin'. The bubbles are gone." Chibi murmured, his breath making the ear closest to him twitch. Looking up at Rei, the tanuki nodded. "Yeah. He'll be fine."
Carefully removing his face from his daddy's shirt, Sachiya looked around, not seeing anymore bubbles. Everything was all better? Incredibly relieved, he turned towards Hinote, ears slowly sliding forward. Was Note okay? ;__;

He was going to be okay? Hinote glanced up cautiously, having a hard time getting herself to look.
Letting out a small sigh of relief, Rei said, "That's good to hear."
Yeah, that was true, Hinote thought. But... was Sachiya mad at her? Once her head was up, she looked at him and whimpered a small "sowwy..."
