Agreed. 3nodding
Before I even knew anything about pairings, I loved NaruHina straight off the back. And when I thought of Sakura with someone, first thing that came to mind was, "Well, she'll probably be with Sasuke...." But then I got further into the story and realized that (IMO) having Sakura marry Sasuke would be... how do I say this? sweatdrop Like, it would be Sakura's dream come true, sure, but I always thought of that as a crush and.... it just didn't work out in my head.... sweatdrop

Sorry, avid SauSaku-er! I also find it conveniant that two of pairs I adore dont conflict with each other. I do agree with you on the whole V.S. thing. I myself think of myself as an open SasuSaku lover, I think NaruSaku is cute, and I respect SasuNaru supporters. I say that we should all get along and respect the possibly cannon couples like one big Naruto loving family! xd (Though that is awfully hypocritic cause there are all the Kakashi pairings that I want to throw stuff at... stare ) I do not think NaruSaku is going to happen, yet I don't flame anyone who does. I just debate politely!

I just really hate it when people flame each other for shipping pairings that threaten theirs. Can't we all just love in peace?
Perhaps the reason why so many assume who NaruHina shippers ship SasuSaku is because they support each other. For example, in a bunch of SasuHina fics, you'll often times see NaruSaku. See? They support each other.
Myself, I love NaruHina, but it doesn't mean that I hate or love SasuSaku. It's okay with me because it connects and supports NaruHina. I (in a way) support it, but it doesn't mean that I wave around banners going "OMFG, SASUSAKU ISH TEH LUFF & SMEX." (Nor do I go around throwing grenades at NaruSaku shippers. I don't support or like the pairing romantically, but it doesn't mean I flame them.)

I'm saying that between this little "love square," I guess we can call it, if SasuSaku happened, then NaruHina could have a chance without the threat of NaruSaku. We have seen Hinata->Naruto->Sakura->Sasuke, so fans tend to think that if Sasuke and Sakura pairs, then Naruto and Hinata pairs.

The main reason why NaruSaku pisses me off is because it implies that Sasuke has to be out of the picture for Sakura to notice Naruto. I don't want the same thing to happen to NaruHina.

heart im a fan of sasusaku and naruhina, confused i dont want to choose one of them they are both awesome to me sweatdrop ...so i dont agree with choosing either sasusaku or naruhina... smile
