I really think this seems like a great idea. A nice, believable character, but not without his quirks.

Marshall_Green Wait...People need Southern Translations now?!?! -_- Makes me saaaddd... Yes! I was actually roleplaying with someone and incorporated a phrase into my post and they were all "wtf?". xd You never know. I, for one, am a little slow when Northerners refer to Coke as "Pop".

Though I'm not from the 'deep' south, I consider myself Southern.
"Dagburnet" (I'm spelling it by ear.) Is an exclaimed curse, like 'God damnit' for example. My very southern teacher got pissed off once and spat that out.
Anyways, cheers for a Southern character. I don't know of any on the island... At least, not with the accent. If you ever want some more phrases, my one roommate is oh so very Southern accented. XD <3333
