Mkarag quickly followed her outside. She was awefully nice. He slipped beside her. Extending his neck, he could see over the tall grass that surrounded them. Animals of all races littered teh savannah. The giraffes with their herd. Zebras running about, racing strips. Packs of hunting carnivoirs hunting their prey.
"The Pride Landsss, ssseemsss nice. Have you met anyone elssse other than myssself?" Mkarag was just curious. If he was going to live with this female, might as well get to know her more.

[ She streatched up to look at what he was looking at. There really wasn't anything of intrest. She was suck a simply creature. "They do." She agreed in a trance like state, starting of past the animals and staring at the savannah.
She was listening, but not really listening at the same time. "Nope. Never. I'm glad you came along." ]

Mkarag smiled. "I am glad too." he replied, oblivious to her....attention. Mkarag stared at her for a moment. Leaned in and licked her to get her attention, "Nyoka, are you alright?" he asked. She seemed a little out of it for some reason. Throughout his travels this has never happened to him so he didn't know what to do, a rare occassion.

[ She nodded her head, by doing so she snapped back into reality. She yawned and nodded again. "I'm Fine. Just..." She searched for a word that would fit her, "Daydreaming" A lazy smile crept onto her snaky lips and leaned against him without thinking, then quickly moved away when she realized what she was doing. "Sorry." ]

Mkarag smiled, "Like you said, "Don't apologize if there is nothing to apologize for." lean on me if you like, I won't mind." he replied. She was daydreaming? From his journeys, daydreamers often got hurt since from preditors. Mkarag may need to stay with her.

[ Well, at least he was a good listener. She slowly went back to leaning on him, glad that he was so sweet hearted. "Thanks for reminding me." Nyoka giggled and looked around, "It's a very pretty morning. Thankyou for enjoying it with me." ]

The cyan snaked smiled ashis tongue flicked. Hehas happy that he was able to comfort someone. "It iss the leasst I can do for allowing me to live with you." he replied, his tail nicely draped over her, protectively and comforting. "If you ever need me, I will be nearby." he smiled as a low hissing emitted from his long body.

[ Nyoka's piercing red eyes stared at him, happiness filling up starting where his tail had touched her own. Maybe, just maybe, there was a purpose for him coming upon her on this very day. She had a Protecter and a friend that made her feel calm and rational. Myoka tilted her head down, feeling very comfortable. "Well, I couldn't just leave you out in the open, now could I?" She grinned, "I'm glad." ]

[ She giggled, "But... Didn't you sssay you had no home?" She questioned him as if she had real athority over him, which Nyoka knew she didn't. Her golden scales reddened lightly when she realized that they really would be living together under her, well thier, Rock. "You're very welcome." ]

Mkarag smiled and tapped her with his tail. "No silly, I live righthere with you." he said boldly with a confident smile. "And here I will stay as long as I am welcomed." he added, licking her softly. The female was so nice, and fun to be with. Yet they only met a few moments ago.

[ Nyoka felt a little dumb. Of course he lived here with her! Hadn't they just aggreed to that? Nyoka just bobbed her head and agreed. "Oh. Yup. That you do! And you'll always be welcome here!" Her scales colored even more when he licked her. She didn't want to become a red snake. She was perfectly fine with her normal color. Nyoka wondered, 'Why is he so nice and sweet...?' ]

Mkarag smiled and seemed oblivious to hercolor changing scales. His gaze returned to the African Savannah and the animals in it. He knew each and every animals behaviors, diets, and even their mating rituals, however, he did not know his own. Mkarag looked back at Nyoka with a smile. "Thank you again."

[ Nyoka felt so confortable with him next to her and the hot morning sun beating down on them. "No problom at all" She whispered lightly, staring at all the animals. Glad that the snake population was low for the time being, even though that ment that there were few to speak to. "Thank you for comeing along." There sure were alot of Thank you's in this conversation. ]

Mkarag hissed, "Now what are we gonna do today?" he asked, "we aren't just going to sit here and get baked are we?" he asked. The two have been sitting on that rock for some time, and the sun has been heating it. Being cold-blooded didn't help either. They absorbed teh heat raising their body temperature.
