i hate buying costumes.. you have to go far for them (as said the first post), they are soo not origional, i am too picky, and they are EXPENSIVE! so i make my own. for only about 20 bucks actually.. fairy costume 3nodding haven't finished it though sweatdrop this year, it's a fire fearie ^-^

you know, kyrenx, there was origionally an upright bass before the electric bass =_= people tend to neglect it... i play upright...

I know, and I respect upright players... if your talking about the bass players guild we accept electric and upright players if your interested (we have quite a few upright players already). I personally have had very little experience with an upright because I was never really given a chance to mess with one and there is little chance that i'll ever be able to afford one so yeah.... no upright for me sweatdrop . But then again, all of my skill are in electric so meh.

If I had the time, I'd love to make my own costumes! But between papers, and class, the occasional trip home and a little bit of me time, there just isn't enough. That, and I can't sew for crap. whee But I'd disagree on the point that store bought costumes are unoriginal; it's all in what you do to them that makes them original, and how you accessorize them. Mine started off as a Victorian Vampiress, and it's finishing up anything but. I'm still digging things out at home to add to it, or alter it with. Once I'm done, I'll be sure to put up pics. ^^

I'm gonna get some face gore, arm gore, just alot of bodily wounds and then vampire fangs, jack my friends black and white joker hat, get an outfi ready out of the stuff I already have, and there is my costume. Only gonna cost about 20-30 dolars, the rest of my earned 60 goes to whatever I wanna buy XD But yeah, that'll mainly be arm glovelets and green and black striped socks. *purrs*
