Umo was deep in thought about this god and his gifts. He could recall when he was his lonliest, back when he happened to come upon a lioness who was... well... not supposed to leave the pride she lived in... He had met her, fell in love, went to her pride and had a child together. Perhaps this god was the one who set that upon Umo's future. He smiled, for certain that this god had visited him before. He then thought about something else. "Why is it that i can see you?" He asked, thinking 'because I haven't seen you before but I am sure that I had your presence beside me at one point or two.'

Umo looked down at the relaxed God and felt much more relaxed himself. His back loosened from its usual tone, and he smiled down at the god on the groud. "I am Umo." He said with a smile.

"Why do you not see the bugs at your feet or the birds high above your head? If I don't wish to be seen you won't see me at all." Athrun said with a soft smile. It was true of course, the two times he'd seen the lion he hadn't felt like being seen, that was just how he was. "But as for why you can see me now, it's probably because I'm just that tired."

That was something the god admitted sheepishly. Not something you said to everyone after all.

"Umo then. That's a good name."

Umo looked at god with a bewildered gaze. He had never thought about the whole concept of gods being seen and not being seen. He cocked his head, looking down at his paws before back up. Why would he be able to see the god of loneliness? Then the god spoke; and Umo's thoughts were surpassed. "I see. So you can, in a way, control who and who does not see you." He asked, looking curiously about for a moment before shaking the sweat off his nose. It sure was warm.

He blinked a moment before smiling warmly. "Thank you. I chose it myself. It means Torment. I suppose when I was younger I changed my name when I left my old pride." He said with a shrug. "And it is short so others can say my name."

"A name is a name, whether you recieve it or you give it to yourself. Just don't give it to those that would do wrong with it, there is a lot more power in a name than some think." Athrun said cryptically. He didn't want any harm to come to the dark lion before him, though he was sure that there wouldn't be a problem with him, for some reason he seemed to be the jovial sort that trusted all and made no enemies.

Athrun liked him.

"Yes I can control who sees me and who does, though for some reason it's not working right now. Probably my luck since I'm so tired." He said with a soft laugh.

Umo looked upwards as he thought about how he did not seem to be saying anything very wisely. He shook his head with a smile; placing his body into a more comfortable position on the ground. Looking to the god/friend he spoke in his monotone voice again. "I have not yet met a lion or animal that is against me. I certainly would not give them my name nor hte names of my family/friends or pride if they wre against me for what ever reason." He said, blinking his crimson eyes slowly and shaking his head. "I hope to never meet anyone like so. I know others can be skeptical if whether my way of speaking so flatly is a... well... let say my old pride thought me weaker because I was diffrent." He said.

Umo looked over to gaze at him for a moment. "Handy in ways I am sure; that ability of yours." He said, with a chuckle.

"It's good that you've never met an enemy. That's the mark of a good soul and I wish you luck throughout your whole life, though I'm sure that you won't need it. You seem to have a good enough soul to do quite well." Athrun said happily a smile spreading over his muzzle as he flicked his tail idly at the grass around his feet.

"It's handy when it works, you know? When it doesn't it's just... annoying to be honest." He glared back at the heiroglyphics on his snow white back.

Umo nodded his head in agreeance. He did his best to not make enemies or even to get near anything or anyone of bad attitude. His last experiance with someone of ill temper was his father, and how long ago was that? He shook his head. "I even live in a pride that lacks in any enemies or rivals. I suppose I am just pretty good at being a freind." He said with a laugh; his voice deep and flat. He blinked his crimson eyes. "I suppose it would be annoying. Especailly when you are trying to do something that is not supposed to be known... that you are doing,"

He shook his head for a moment before looking up curiously. "So, then I am guessing you are one of many gods? Correct?

"There are hundreds of realms and for every realm there's a god. So yes, I am simply one of many. Every time a new realm opens a new god is born to take care of the realm. Simple as that." Athrun responded as he looked up at the darker lion. A gentle smile spread over his snow white muzzle and he nodded his head.

"I'm glad to hear that you have no enemies. A friend is worth a thousand enemies, though that goes without saying obviously." the god said very simply. It wasn't every day that he met a lion or another being for that matter that had no enemies at all. Though the simple fact that he was so monotone in itself was probably the reason.

Umo took in the thought of there being so many gods and goddess's for so many diffrent things; it made his head spin. Blinking back his crimson eyes in confusion; he just decided to keep it all in his head until he could sit down and think on it long and hard. Looking up with a brawn smile; he chuckled. "I suppose you are right. There are so many realms and I am guessing Gods and Goddess to fit them all alike. Its boggling. But fascinating." He said, rubbing his muzzle on his big paw in intrest.

Umo looked at the god. "I suppose I am the kind of lion that others do not see as threatening. I do suppose in the right situation I could be, but I am not normally. That I know of anyway. I suppose that is a good thing. No... It is a good thing." He said, correcting himself with a sheepish grin. "Do gods and goddess's have enemys?

"Yes, it is a good thing." Athrun said with another nod, his sky blue eyes shimmered at the thought of enemies, yes, there were those that gods had as well. "Well, not everyone or everything has an enemy. If you have an enemy it generally comes from something that you or they have done. Or the emotions that you have towards them, it's not just inherintly that way."

The old god shrugged a little and scratched at his cheek in wonder, maybe he had done somthing to deserve all of his enemies that stripped his original life away? He wasn't quite sure, but he would mull it over in his head for a while.

Yawning he glanced over at Umo and nodded his head. "It was a pleasure meeting you, but it's high time I go and find someplace to take an afternoon nap." A chuckle worked its way from Athrun's muzzle, "I hope that one day we meet again."

With that said he was gone, somehow managing to use his powers to make himself vanish. Without a noise he slipped away to find a boulder, though he didn't know how long his powers would hold out, he at least wanted to sleep.

Umo blinked slowly and assured like as Athrun spoke of enemies. Blinking his cool crimson eyes; he wondered if having no enemies could be in some way a bad thing? Umo had his old family as an enemy, didn't he? Shaking his head, he lifted his head; blinking as the god spoke of his having to leave. Umo nodded. The god was a good freind. A good friend indeed.

Umo grew a new respect for this fellow. Perhaps, he would meet again. In a way, Umo also hoped not; due to the fact he did not want to be lonely ever again.
