Aysha stayed silent after she answered his last question. He seemed a little surprised that she was alone, and so she figured that he wasn't out to get her or anything. But she was still cautious. Leopards were said to be powerful creatures, and she didn't want to take any chances.
She gazed down into the water again, as if she were trying to find something within her own reflection. But she got distracted when she heard the little cub speak out and move around. Her gaze slowly trailed from the water and over towards the pair. She saw the smile of Kujack and the way that the cub seemed attached to him. It reminded her a bit of when she still had her own son.
Sighing, she looked back down into the water, a frown upon her face as she remembered what it was like when she still had her son.

*Smirking at Ger’s actions Jack felt himself chuckle. He fixed his fur again. Jack was only kidding when he told Ger he couldn’t make his fur dirty- but hey a free cleaning was always nice. With a deep sigh he pushed a paw at Ger’s head and pushed down his cowlick.*
"Better eh?"
*He surged before moving himself to stand. He wanted to talk to this lioness more-- padding over to her he stood about five feet from her and asked.*
"What are you looking at, if I may ask?"

Ger sighed, nope he wasn't gonna let off on him. Oh well. "Thanks." the thanked with a smile. Kujack got up and moved away, Ger did as well, seating himself a foot or so from the leopard. Ger learned not to be too close to him, a foot was even pushing it.
"Hello!" he shouted to the lioness. "Name's Ger." innocent little cub he was.

Aysha glanced quickly up at the leopard as he moved closer and spoke out to her, disrupting her thoughts. But she appreciated that, being as her thoughts weren't exactly the happiest or anything at the moment.
"Aah, nothing. Just my reflection," she said truthfully. She had been looking at her reflection, yes, but she had also been trying to find someone important in that reflection. Having seen nothing but a monochrome lion, she was glad that Kujack had interrupted her little trance.
Then, when the little cub practically shouted at her, she frowned yet tried to smile. It made her look very awkward.
"Hello Ger, it's nice to meet you. I'm Aysha."

*Frowning Jack’s ears pinned back as Ger screamed like a loon at the female. Swearing he lifted a paw and slapped the back of the cubs head lightly.*
"HEY what the hell kid! You know better then to do that!"
*Kujack frowned, tipping Ger back with his tail.*
"You don’t yell at others like that, it’s freaking rude."
*Not really setting a better example he sighed and eyed back at the lioness.*
"Ugh, sorry."
*He shifted himself back and flopped his tail on Ger’s head, as if to hide him.*
"Ha-ha... He is cute."

Ger smiled, "Nice to meet ya Aysh---Ow!" he shouted when Kujack smacked him. Ger rubbed his head where the leopard hit him. "That hurt." he whined when his tail drapped over his head, silencing him. Ger just gave an ignorant pout and looked back at the lioness.
Kujack said he was cute? That was rare and....strange. Ger purred a little, a little content about what the leopard said. He said I was cute.

When the little cub was hit upside the head by the leopard, the female's fur bristled slightly. Before she had thought that Kujack cared about the little creature, but now she was having second guesses.
"It's fine, really. I know he didn't mean anything by it," she said quietly, wishing that she could comfort the little lion. But he now seemed hidden by the bigger cat's tail. Confused a little by their interactions with one another, Aysha glanced back down at her reflection.
"Yeah, cute," she agreed, still looking down at herself. She wanted to ask where Jack had found the little cub, but she knew that she was in no position to ask that sort of question. So instead she remained silent.

*Sighing slightly Jack felt a bit lost again. Why did he feel so helpless? He never felt this way before- he was the boss- but right now he just was very confused. Eyeing Ger jack frowned. Ger looked bigger… what was he eating?!*
"Ger when did you get this big?"
*Jack blinked and laughed, poking Ger’s head with his paws.*
"Look at him, he is huge! Your almost as big as I am."
*He joked, puffing his chest out.*
"But not as good looking."

"What are you talking about? I've always been like this." Actually, since being with Kujack, the two have been eating more. Ger has slowly been growing, but with day to day together, it just seemed...unnoticable.
The not-so-little cub chuckled, "Nope, nowhere near. However, you'll never beat my eyes." he shot back, staring at him with his gorgeous teal eyes. Then Ger a sudden feeling of his fur being out of order, probably nothing. "Right, Aysha?" he asked looking to poke fun at the leopard.

Aysha watched the two curiously. The leopard seemed surprised that the cub was as big as he was, but Ger didn't seem to think he was any bigger than he had been before. Maybe Kujack just didn't pay that much attention to the cub, and so now he was finally noticing that the cub was growing. It confused the female, for she didn't understand whether or not the leopard actually cared for the little lion.
"Yes, whatever you say Ger," she said quietly, her face blank and expressionless. She knew that they were joking around with each other, but she simply didn't feel the humor.
That's how the lioness had been lately: monotonous and very plain. She didn't find humor in anything anymore, and her how life seemed to just be so dull.

*Frowning Jack found himself leaving Ger’s side and walking a bit closer to the lioness. He wanted to know why she was so upset. With a soft smile he eyed down at the water beside her and spoke.*
"Is something wrong?"
*He whispered, so that only the lioness could hear. Not wanting to make Ger worried he turned back to the cub and wiggled his tail at him- before gazing back at the female. Why was she so unhappy--?*

Ger smiled and punced at Kujack's tail, missing as it swished the other way. Ger pounced again, moving to the other side. He played the little game until he got bored. Quickly he hopped on his back and crambled to his head. Ger looked over to the female.
"Aysha, what's wrong?" he asked, a tone of concern. The lion cub's teal eyes grew big, a kitty cat pout?

Aysha blinked at both of the males as, one after the other, they asked if something was wrong. A couple of things disturbed her about their questions. First was the softness and quietness in which the leopard had asked her. She didn't know why, but it just scared her the way he talked like that to her so easily. The second was the concern that both of them showed. She had only met these two not so long ago, and already they seemed genuinely concerned.
For all of her nervousness and everything, she simply couldn't bring herself to tell them what was actually wrong. Deep down she liked how concerned they were, but on the surface she still didn't trust them. Too many things had happened to her to make her edgy.
"N-no, nothing's wrong. Why would anything b-be wrong?" she stammered, glancing quickly down at her reflection, her ears folding back in embarassment.
They could see right through her, she knew, and she didn't like it.

"Ger, come here"
*Jack’s tone seemed to change again- from the jokester to the more serious one. He could see that the both of them together seemed to double team her- and looked like they were pushing her into a place she didn’t want to be. With a soft sigh he moved back and eyed her softly. Why did she act so oddly... she felt so cold. Even her words held a slight unknown to them... what was she?
Moving himself to turn away the large cat moved himself to sit beside the tree he had been resting under before the lioness had come. Yawing he did his best not to look at her or talk to her. She wanted to keep it in- he wouldn’t stop her. Beckoning for Ger to follow, Kujack patted the place beside him.*

Ger looked to the leopard, to the lioness and back. Ger held his head low and went to Kujack's side. Perhaps he did something wrong...
"Bye..." he whispered in a hoarse voice as he padded over to Kujack's side.
The lion laid beside the adult, shifting glances between the two. Kujack seemed concerned, Aysha seemed so...distant. It looked like Kujack was trying to reach out to her, but decided to give her space. Was this really Kujack? The Kujack he knew? Ger smiled, Kujack has gone far since he met him. As if Ger coming into his life has made it start all over. "Dad, did I do something wrong?"
