That profile is going to need a heck of a lot of work to get in... "Burning stuff" is not a personality trait and "ultimate fireballs" is not a type of magic.

Sorry, bud-- I had to ban Kouta96 because he started posting that I suck every where. It's not my fault if he makes topics that have nothing to do with RPing and if his profile isn't up to par yet...

Name: Aela Ral Gender: Female Age: 19 Magic?: She is able to speak to any animal she comes across. The only limitation to this would be the actual intelligence of the animal she is trying to contact. For example, it would be much harder for her to speak with an earthworm than a wolf. She also has developed the unique ability of metamorphosis. She is able to change into any living being she desires. This is obviously restricted to animals. It is also easier for her to morph into an animal that she knows fairly well. Speaking to an animal and accessing its thoughts and instincts, etc. would enable her to morph far easier. If she concentrates very hard, she can (sometimes) morph into an animal that she hasn't seen but only heard about. She is still working on this particular skill. Appearance: Aela Ral (please disregard the snake, etc.)Personality: Aela is a fairly shy girl. She much prefers speaking and dealing with animals than people. She spends almost all her time translating and just helping out in general with her animal friends. To this affect, their own wild nature seems to have rubbed off on her. Though normally quiet, she is quite rebellious of anything that she feels is restrictive of her freedom. She is quick to act and only later regrets her impulsiveness. History: Growing up in the Demere tribe, Aela grew used to having men as her inferiors. Though, she always found the Feretris a bit odd, with its practice of going so far as to enslave its males. It wasn't until she was thirteen that she truly found a reason to hate them. Her family of four (mother, father, older brother, and her) were scouting lands near the border of Feretris. She, in particular, had insisted that they stay for a few days. She was interested in talking to some members of a pack of wolves there. While she discussed a temporary agreement with the wolves, a raiding party from Feretris saw their small party and decided to take advantage of such small numbers. Her mother was knocked unconscious. Her father and seventeen year old brother were taken captive. In the process of tying them up, her father attempted to escape. He was killed. Her brother was knocked unconscious during the same attempt. Aela returned from her successful talk only to find her father dead, her mother severely injured, and her brother taken. Now -- six years later -- she takes care of her mother who was never quite right after her head injury. She still translates for her tribe, but her real goal is to someday sneak into Feretris and free her brother. She refuses to believe that he might be dead. They were always very close, and she is positive that she would feel his death. Currently, she is negotiating a type of treaty with several of the larger carnivoures. She wishes to create a special raiding party all her own, though she isn't disinclined to a little human help. Her only real recruit is a younger male wolf: a member of that same wolf pack from so long ago. He had reached an age where he was ready to strike out on his own and find a mate. But he took a liking to her and followed her instead.

You are accepted into the RP, thank you for joining! I do have a few comments/questions/concerns about your character:
1. The appearance. From the rest of your profile I'm assuming that you are capable of describing her appearance in words. Normally in an RP of this nature it would be a requirement for you to do so but I did not specify that so it's ok. However the link you gave is to your photobucket account and I can't figure out which picture(s) you wish to show us. Please give links to specific pictures and make a note if there is any thing about the picture that does not represent your character. 3nodding I don't want to be confused...
2. Tribe stuff. I am so happy that you picked one of the tribes! They are a little hard to join because there is not as much info on them and the info is kinda spread out over the first page.
3. History. In response to your first line here I would just like to make sure that you did not miss this part of the description of the Demere tribe: "There is a slight prejudice towards women in regards to tribe leadership and heritage. " Hmn I wonder if they purchased that wagon from a farmer to the south or the west, where there are more trees to make them with.
4. Future plans: remember as you RP your character that ex-slaves are now joining the Demere tribe as fellow combatants. When it comes to creating a raiding party Aela might make use of some of them.
Ok I am going to start writing a thread about Jack & Tony now b/c they are in the Nomadic plains somewhere.

Name: Morgan Gender: Male Age: 27 Magic?: None Appearance: Morgan is, in a word, peculiar. Therefore, hs appearance matches nicely. He is of average height, and his build is almost that of an adolescent with its too-thin, unstable appearance. Large eyes and high cheekbones give his face an almost effeminate quality. He keeps his black hair long, as is custom with his people, though it is most often tucked into whatever mad outfit he has selected for the day. His outfits seem to have very little rhyme or reason to them. He will often assemble any old thing he finds in his posession, such as a false mustache or cape into his attire. Personality: He matches his appearance well. He will drift in and out of conversations, idly steering them where he wishes. Though his language is polite, proper, and almost gentlemanly, he will often discuss the most absurd things, even in the middle of crisis. He is far from foolish, however. When a situation goes ill, his demeanor will take a severe turn. History: Early in life, the Demere Morgan lost his two older brothers to the raids, both were killed. And so, he had only his parents while growing up. His mother and father were deeply loyal to the Paramilitary faction of the growing opposition, and so their ideas were passed on to their son. As he grew into an adult, Morgan would play the role of a sort of scout, searching out and pinpointing new targets for attack, mainly raids on supplies. He has accompanied several of them, as he is skilled with small, stealthy weapons such as throwing knives.

Hmn, my first thoughts are
1. YAY some one who will probably know Jack (one of my characters).
2. Is Morgan officially part of the Demere tribe, or are his relatives originally from another tribe but have left to aid the Demere? Or is he a decendent of non-nomadic (there is a probably a word for that), settlers, most of whom are farmers?
3. I'm guessing that his parents are still alive. whee
4. Sweet! Now I'm not the only one playing a non-mage character. This makes conflicts more interesting when we have both kinds. twisted
5. Back to #1-- in the underground thread I posted something about Jack as well as something about Tony. If you want to be with Jack right now as he discusses a raid on Feretris, I can cut&paste the part about Jack into a new thread for you. Or you can start your own if your character is somewhere else. 3nodding
6. Oh, and uh, yes you are accepted in case that wasn't clear!

2. Yes, he is officially of the Demere tribe.
3. Uhh... yeah. Just old. ^^
4. Magic gives me an 'eadache. My mage characters are always novices.
5. Alrighty, then. What would you prefer? Dun't matter to me.
6. Huzzah!

Name: Eszrah ap Blæd Gender: Male Age: 25 Magic? None Appearance: Eszrah does not look like a warrior. He is shorter than average, and also appears very thin. This proves deceptive, however. He may be thin, but his muscles are toned and fit, and his small stature allows him to move quickly and agilely in and out of combat. He would seem an uncivilized heathen to many; his lightly tanned skin is often covered by paints, and his black hair is caked in dark brown mud. He wears a loincloth, thin animal-skin moccasins, and an animal-hide cloak. His eyes are dark green. Personality: Being raised by an extremely aloof people, Eszrah is untrusting of outsiders, and only speaks when necessary. If, however, someone were to have the trust of his people, then they will find a quick ally in him. Eszrah may be slow to trust, but he is loyal to a fault. He has great natural instincts, and almost infinite patience. He has a thick accent, and often uses words from the Kiyap Turen dialect. History: Eszrah was not born with the Kiyap Turea. He was found by the Kiyap Turea at the age of six, clinging to his father's body in the plains south of Feretris. When the Kiyap Turea found them, his father's corpse was being preyed on by a wild scavenger. Eszrah was rescued, taken back to on of the elusive Kiyap Turea villages and raised as one of their own. When he was old enough, he was accepted into the family of the stealth-warriors, or the Blaed. Because he was (supposedly) born in Feretris, he has no magical abilities as many of his Kiyap Turea brethren do. However, he has adapted quite well to their lifestyle and is a capable hunter and spy. Though his people stay away from outside affair, he is one of few who will aid outsiders.

Thanks to User Error, we now have 'families' for the Kiyap tribe: Quote: The four Families (divisions/classes) of the Kiyap Turea are: Blæd (Blaed) -- Warrior/spy class Gemynd -- scholars, artists Hælt (Haelt) -- healers/doctors Weork -- artisans/craftsman, builders I have added this info to the first page and adjusted the other information about the kiyap accordingly. 3nodding OoooooOOoo a profile!

User Error-- like duh, you are "Accepted"
1. Eszrah's origins. Although the Kiyap people (I bet they hate it when you shorten the tribe name) would think that Eszrah came from Feretris and he would have grown up thinking that way, there is a higher probability that either he is a traveler's or farmer's son, or that the man who rescued him out of Feretris was not his father. Babies in Feretris are raised in birthing compounds and do not know their fathers-- and sons never know their mothers either. (It's up to you)
2. Although most tribes people have at least a weak form of magic, not all do, so Eszrah may find some like him in his tribe, though not many.
3. PLOT ALERT. I was just playing an NPC from this tribe in the "Underground" thread. This NPC is a scout/warrior, and if you would like, we can make that your character. If not, the NPC will probably take Aela to the tribes people and he will meet her then. 3nodding
