Adrien watched Dras and giggled more. "Stop, silly!" she exclaimed. "You won't get rid of them that way!" She reached out and took hold of one of Dras' ribbons, hoping he'd stop so she could help un-cushion him. Aiden studied his sister while he listened to Gear. "I guess that does make sense," he replied, turning back to her just in time to catch the fleeting look. He raised his eyebrows at it, but didn't mention it. "Well, I am glad that they seem like good people," he said, refering to his adoptive brothers. "I wish we had a sister for Adrien to play with though. She might not cling to me so much," he said with a sheepish grin. "I hear we're getting another brother soon though." He watched Adrien again for a moment. As much as he would like not to admit it, he was quite protective over her as well. "And how are your siblings?"

The second Adrien's hand touched his tail ribbon, Adrastos froze, both arms in the air and one leg extended in mid-step. He turned to her slowly, his tail twitching slightly at the tip. His ears drooped slightly and he looked far less upbeat than usual. "Please let go of my ribbon," he said in a plaintive voice. Cocking her head to one side, Mizuki also spent a moment watching Adrien before speaking. "She's welcome to play with any of my sisters if she'd like to. I have four, I'm sure she could find one of them she got along with. Hopefully not Milu..." The same dark look graced her face again, this time lingering a bit longer. "Well, they're... An interesting bunch. Maari is nice enough, if a bit boring. Vilu is energetic, friendly, and somewhat irritating at times. His sister is... Well, the less said about her, the better. I don't know Evander, Kanna, or Tartar all that well, but they seem ok. Yasuna is very antisocial and spends all her time painting or playing that damned flute of hers. And Dras... Well, you can see for yourself," she finished dryly, waving her hand towards him.

Adrien blinked and did so, wondering what she had done wrong. She flushed and apologized. "I am sorry, Dras, I didn't know I couldn't touch it," she said quietly, looking at her hands. Aiden, who had been watching his sister again, sighed before turning back to Gear and thanking her. He nodded along as she described her siblings, wondering again why she got that dark look on her face when she mentioned Milu. "I take it you and Milu don't get along well?" Now, he, too, flushed at being so foreward. "I hope I get along with my brothers."

His happy demeanor returning immediately as his precious ribbon was released, he smiled reassuringly at her. "It's ok!" His hand immediately went again to the ribbon, smoothing it carefully. He really did love that ribbon. He smiled fondly at it before suddenly remembering his current predicament with the cushions. "Oh, er... I guess running around wasn't help with this, huh?" He pointed at the cushions before tugging gently on one. "They're kinda... Stuck." As Aiden questioned her about Milu, she scowled even deeper than before. "Milu is... Overly friendly with the males of the species. She charms every one of them and then leaves them in the dust in exchange for her next prey. She's despicable." Though she was usually fairly observant, she failed to notice his flush in her anger.

Adrien looked up as he turned cheerful again and smiled again at him. She giggled as he tried to pull the cushions off unsuccessfully. "Come here, silly. Let me help!" she said, reaching up on her tippy toes for a cushion. Aiden watched Gear closely, listening to what she had to say. "I... have to agree wholeheartedly there. It does seem rather cruel," he replied, hoping he would not become a target.

"Oh, sorry," he said with a laugh, kneeling so that she could reach his neck without straining herself. "I always seem to get into these messes..." His face once again took on a slightly spacy look as his eyes wandered over to Mizuki and Aiden. Her scowl lessened slightly at being agreed with on this (Just about everyone else avoided giving her a straight answer when she complained about her sibling), and she nodded. "Cruel is exactly what it is. But she doesn't seem to care at all. Oh well, she'll suffer for it in the end."

Adrien laughed and thanked him, twining her little paws about the cushion and untangling it from his choker. Once that was free, she walked around him and did the same for the other. She smiled at him. "There you go. Try not diving head first into the couch again, okay?" He nodded, his eyes darting to assure himself that Adrien was still near and safe. "One would hope so. It really isn't fair for her to be running around breaking hearts. I would never do such a thing, and I hope Adrien would never as well."

As the added weight of the cushions (Which he had not realized existed until it was gone) was lifted from his neck, Adrastos shook his head in a rather dog-like manner, causing his long braid to whip from side to side. "Ahhh, that's better," he said with a wide grin before hopping to his feet again. "Thanks Adrien!" Reaching into one of the deep pockets of his red shorts, he pulled out a length of pink ribbon and offered it to her. "This would match your dress really well!" At this Mizuki's scowl was finally broken and replaced by a small hint of a smile. "It's good to know that there aren't many people who stoop to her level. You seem pretty nice, actually. It's not often I find someone who doesn't bug me."

Adrien giggled as he shook his head, then opened her eyes in amazment as he pulled out the ribbon. Politely covering her mouth with one paw and taking the ribbon in the other, she thanked him. "It's so pretty, Dras!" she exclaimed, tying it around the elastic at the end of her braid. "It's perfect for my hair!" Aiden smiled back. "Well, I'm honored I don't bug you, Miss Gear," he said with a small laugh. "That would be rather rude of me, no?"

Adrastos grinned at the small fox's excitement as she took the ribbon from him and fastened it in her hair. He loved to give these types of gifts to the young female children around the pound, and he seemed to have a never-ending supply of ribbons with him at all times. It was just fun to see their faces light up when they saw the sleek shiny ribbons. ... Plus, it kept them from touching his. "You're welcome!" He gave a quick twirl before jumping onto the same couch that he had before lodged his head in, though this time he made sure not to land head-first. Snorting, she shook her head. "Most people blame me when that kind of thing happens. Seems I'm not very easy to get along with." She looked amused at this. "The way I see it, as long as you don't do any harm to others and you aren't a general pain in the a** like that thing over there-" She jabbed a thumb in the now-jumping up and down Adrastos, "-We'll get along just fine."

Adrien watched him, still giggling. "Didn't that hurt? There's no cushions, silly!" she exclaimed, picking one up for proof. Aiden chuckled and smiled warmly. "I find you easy enough to get along with, Gear," he informed her, laughing as she pointed at Dras. "He's not so bad either." His grin widened. "But that may be because I hardly know him."

Adrastos stopped bouncing for a moment to consider carefully whether or not it had hurt, before replying: "Nah! I have buns of steel!" Grinning, he resumed his bouncing on the springy couch, a look of contentment on his face. "That's good," Mizuki replied, a hint of her usual gruff tone sneaking back into her voice. She wasn't used to affection. It made her a bit uncomfortable. "Trust me, once you've been around him a few weeks, you'll want to join me in throttling him," she said in regards to Adrastos. "He's nothing but a huge purple baby." Though she didn't realize it, and certainly would never admit it even if she did, there was a note of fondness in her voice.

Adrien grinned and seated herself primly in an armchair not far from Dras, watching him bounce. "You're quite the silly kitty, Dras," she told him, not unkindly. Aiden laughed. "We shall see, won't we?" he retorted, watching Dras and Adrien. "Well, Adrien seems to like him and that's good enough for me, really."

Again stopping in his bouncing actions, the large purple cat launched himself onto the floor, landing as delicately on all four paws as his species was known to. "I'm not a kitty," he said in a serious tone, looking her in the eye. "I'm... A LION!" Opening his mouth wide, he roared as loudly as he could, before beginning to stalk around the floor of the room like a lion on the prowl. "You must trust her a lot, if you trust her judgement as much as your own," she noted, eyeing Adrastos's antics and Adrien's reactions. "They do seem to get along pretty well though, don't they..."

Adrien giggled and pulled her feet up off the floor, tucking her dress around her. She clapped her hands delightedly. "A lion? Wow!" Aiden laughed, watching them. "They do." He turned back to Gear. "I do," he said seriously. "I trust Adrien more than anyone in the world. She was all I had for the longest time. I could never let her down like that.
