For some reason I have around 2000 extra Gold. Now while it's not a lot, it's definately an unexpected surprise.
Edit - After looking into it; there was apparently a rollback of some kind, and they awarded older accounts with 1700 gold. Newer accounts only got around 500-1700, depending on how old they were.
