They have a right to voice their opinion and Gaia shouldnt stop them. As for the question about arsenic, I think some plutonium would do the trick wink

No. They have a right to voice their own oppinion, UNTIL it 'hurts' someone. Thats the way it works in Democracy, and thats the way it works here. You know, I am actually considering making a clone character to jump on into a Nazi guild and see what kind of posts there are...

lol guys they only hate us because they are jealous of us..

judaism i look at it like a big privite club. we have our won calender, our own top secret so hard to learn on your own through books language, we have kick a** guilds, we have tons of celebs, we have our country, we have totally kick a** names like Rivka, or CHAYA <-- the best name of all, and and best part we have cute little hats the guys wear. ^.^

so they are totally and completely jealous of the coolness, so they are like
"gah they are so cool i'm so jealous i can't be cool like that"
then they get so jealous it frustrates then and then they are alike all "HA i'm so jealous" then they go off and throw little fits... and yea..

Bwahaha!

Let's go with that one! ^_^ It does make sense, in a very amusing way.

Back to seriousness, is using an alt to get into a guild for the sole use of shutting it down a bad thing? Is it a bannable offense?

I wouldn't advise it.

For one, no matter how despicable the guild, it is in bad taste. If you want to get rid of it, go through the proper channels. Report it or talk to a moderator.
For another, if it were to become known that you were the one responsible it would look bad for our guild. Would it be worth it to sully this guilds reputation in order to shut down theirs?

Whether or not it's a bannable offense wouldn't be what worries me. Amitzah's point is the big thing. Let's be the better people and keep our good reputation. We won't let them in because they offend us, but other than that we don't have to act outright against them.

Damn these morals of ours. >.<

My main concern was getting this guild in trouble. Because of the simple fact I joined up, it would likely be the first place hit if I screwed somthing up. I'm fine with being the badguy; someone has to do it...

Ok, this just got me thinking...what does the Torah say about the Means and Ends? Do the Ends justify the means? Is it the other way around? Is it even applicable? Personally, I have done some 'less-then-moral' things, but its always been in a good cause. Say a car is blocking a fire hidrant and a house is burning, and the Fire Engine needs its hose run. Is it acceptable to smack the car's windows out and run the hose through it? You know, screw it. I am making a thread for this.

The way I see it, people don't need a reason to hate another. If they had such a thing, then hatred would be justified. People hate Jews and others because they just do. It doesn't make sense or have logic behind it. domokun

I don't think that there is any (much) real anti-semitism on Gaia. It's just stupid people trying to look cool, or stupid people making stupid assumtions about Jews.

I haven't encountered too much anti-semitism on gaia but I must say I am a bit disturbed that someone in the official AT guild has a swastika on her sig. And sometimes you meet the occansional member of the nazi guild.

You know someone in GD once posted that the medical advandces people got from the holocaust (you know, the toture of many minorities so they could see how people healed and such) justfied the means. He also seemed to think getting rid of Jews was a good thing. We can't become like them now can we?
