"...mh...uh...bu...ARGH!!! I'll castrate you in your sleep!"
It was true though. His argument was about as hole-y as the Pope himself. He hated it when he lost. Muttering under his breath, Hein began moving towards the small shack of a gas station, the shanty-like building being the only thing that he could see and hear for that matter as the lingering sounds of some TV program continued on. As he made his way over to the men, Hein stopped as the jeep-riders began talking.
"...not smart to make us hide in the tall grass. If that stuff catches, then we'll be dead ducks. Our enemies aren't exactly in this for the cash, so destruction of public property probably wouldn't matter too much to them. After all, they have the patience to watch it grow again. Anyways...hey! Um...workers! Do you guys have anything sharp, pointy, or explosive?"

The man who had just emerged from the shed slung the chainsaw onto the top of the truck, then pointed towards the supply shed.
"Tools are in there. As for the rest of it... this is a fuel depot. Grab a gas can and fill it up."

"We can set up a fireline so that if they try to burn it down it doesn't get too far and leaves us with an avenue of retreat. The objective is to deny the enemy with the ground and taking our lives. Though should it be needed and we are pushed back we can just burn it all."
Glancing at the large fuel tanks Quin smilled. It was good when you had the materials on hand to perform your plans. This could be real fun, much more fun then the s**t wars he'd always witness. Chivalry had played too much a role in those. This, this was more like politics, cold and brutal.
Hearing that there were tools to be had Quin really had to grin, his lips pulled back as a maniac glee took his eyes. Heading to the shed he grabed a few small tanks of gas, one under his arm as the other held the second by the handle. His other hand was busy keeping him upright and moving, holding onto the cane.

"Heh," Shou grinned back at Mooo. "No worries, you got my back, I've got yours." Comradery at its finest.
"Sounds reasonable, you've got those reinforcements coming right?" the half-golem said as he looked over at Quin. "So we just have them watch this place while we water the grass?"

Setting the tanks into the back of the jeep he looked to the grey hair man and gave a small laugh.
"That's the plan, let's load up. We'll take off when they get here so they don't go attacking us when we return."

Mooo'd done controlled burns on fields before--his work experience was varied and quite helpful in situations like this.
"I'll help with the field. I gotta stretch my legs a bit."

"Hm...we'll set up brush piles, about mid-grass height, douse the stuff with gasoline, and then that'll be our final resort. Worst comes to worst, we can light the entire field up in a few seconds flat and be done with this place. Anyone left'll either be burned too horribly to continue, or they'll just burn...sound alright to you guys?"
It was almost frightening how cold his words were, but the even more surprising action was the smile of amusement on Hein's lips as he spoke of the scenario that he had begun to paint in his mind. Fire had always had a special place in his heart, and just the mere thought of it, destructive or constructive, caused him to glow. And the thought of the entire field, and a gas station for kicks, ablaze in flames simply made him giggle like a child.

Stretching his hand out over the view of the field, Mooo's hand swept slowly from one side to the other.
"I think the idea is to stamp down a line of grass and set it ablaze--once that's burned, we douse it and leave it. This line's basically there to keep the entire thing from going up. We could stack your brush piles behind the line we draw, but all that's up to the driver here."

"Well it's good to have the help."
Coming back from another tirp to the shed Quin loaded another two tanks of gas to the back of the jeep.
"We'll set up two firelines. One along the edge so none of the flames can get to the depot and another one about half way so we can have an area to hold ground and a firezone for when they come through there."
Hearing the other man's idea Quin thought about it for a moment and nodded.
"We'll set those up in the area between the two firelines. Those will be our weapons of last resort for the fields. Once the flames die out we could probably punch a counter attack through the area."

Shouyin strapped the gun to his back and busied himself gathering tanks, eyeing that chainsaw curiously. Quin basically had things covered, and the man felt no need to challenge reasonable suggestions, nor throw himself into some sort of leadership spotlight. He'd take as many as he could carry at one time, until the jeep was fully-loaded or sufficiently weighed down.
"I like that chainsaw, we should do something with it."

"Why not strap that big boy onto your jeep? Boys and their toys..."
Winking at Shouyin, Hein went back to busying himself with thinking. They needed some other way to protect themselves besides raging flames. Flames... That was it! Immediatly, Hein brightened up as he turned to Quin with a flirtatious smile.
"Hey, handsome, you wouldn't happen to have any rum, would you? Or any alcohol for that matter? I got the sudden desire for a good molotov..."

"You aren't getting my drink. You want to make a bomb go check the regulars. And see if they have some magnesium strips to make it burn better."
Looking to the others, "Well boys the jeeps loaded. Time to get this working."
Waiting for the others to pile in Quin started up the motor before getting them started to the field.

"Party-pooper. I'm leaving my quad here and hopping a ride on your jeep. Sound alright? No, too bad."
Hopping on, Hein pulled out his bowie knife, the blade still as dim as ever as he ran a finger along the keen edge.
"Come on! Chop chop!"

Shou furrowed his brow at Hein, loading his last take and grabbing onto the chainsaw.
"F'serious, later though, we gotta head out," he grinned and hopped back into the jeep, shotgun and everything. The rifle was strapped to his back, so he had to lean forward a little, the chainsaw held loosely in his right hand.
"Let's do this."

Hopping into the jeep, Mooo's expression soured as he felt the tension rise in the area. It had begun.
"Get me on one of the lines," he said to the driver. I'll start stamping a line as quickly as I can so once the first line's done, we can handle the second one faster."
