xXmike_owns_youXx I have very different and very defined beliefs. I am not questing for anything; I have found my spirituality. So do I really belong here? i saw your profile; are you a satanist? if so i would like to hear about it; an excellent friend of mine is a satanist and not at all what one might expect. if not please just say a bit about your "different and defined" beliefs. i promise not to quarrel, and if anybody else does i qill zip up their lips.

chessiejo some people believe that all they have to do is go to church or profess a creed with their words and they will be fine. but i go by what Jesus said, which was that NOT reverybody who called him "Lord, Lord" would get a rewrd! he said that the ones he favored were those who visited prisoners and sick people, fed the naked and clothed the hungry. I have a question for you. Do mennonites believe that one must worhip god and jesus in order to reach heaven, or can they be of different religions, as long as they have a good soul? You have told me that you are very accepting of religious diversity, but do you believe that non-christians can still be welcome into heaven? I guess that's kind of a wierd question, because non-christians wouldn't believe that they would go to heaven. But a thought crossed my mind. If God is all-powerful, and loves all life, then he could make a non-christian's life after death into whatever they believed it would be. If they were buddhist, he could make their version of heaven just as they imagined nirvana would be like. I just had a crazy idea one day that all the religions might be worshipping the same god. Maybe God knew that because of cultural differences, people of different cultures would only accept him in a certain way, based on the philosophy and way of life of that culture. But if I were God, I know I would be filled with unimaginable sorrow. To have all of his children killing each other because of such complicated beliefs. . . I believe that if there is a god, he/she just wants everyone to have a pure soul. If there is a god, I don't think he or she would send anyone to any kind of hell. I believe reincarnation would be a more godlike way of dealing with evil, if God does love all life. I think reincarnation is a great idea; you keep taking the test over and over until you learn your lesson. It's not a punishment, but rather an unlimited amount of time to learn to be good. I mean, you have to suffer in order to learn to be happy, so living over and over again isn't a punishment.

Especially the part about God being sad because of all the killing.

No Name the Walrus I'm certainly open-minded about religion, and I consider myself Wiccan, though I haven't been studying very long and am not part of a traditional coven. I have friends who are all different religions, so I don't look down on any one religion, or any one person for his or her religion. The one thing I can't stand is people trying to "save" me because I don't believe I need to be saved.
One question for everyone: How did you come to know the religion you are in is the one for you? Frankly, I was introduced to Wicca through a very good friend of mine and I converted shortly after I was told what Wicca was. There have been several times since then that I thought it best to convert back to Baptist Christian, but when I actually gave it some thought, the thought of leaving the path of Wicca made me feel empty and that I was imprisoned in the way that the other people in my life would WANT for me to be. And I just didn't like that. The Old Ways are so beautiful and I can't ever imagine leaving them behind. How long have you been studying?? I've been studying for about 5 years now and I'm technically part of a traditional coven, but that coven is located in New Jersey and I moved to Tennessee shortly after the coven was formed, so I've never actually been fully initiated into it....

I think that's a very enlightened way to view it. That's what I believe, too. It just seems right to me. I don't know, maybe I do believe in god after all? (This is mike, just so you know. Got bored of having a boy avatar all the time, so I made a new one. ^_^ )

My beleifs are my own, no one could possibly share the same beleifs as I do. Theyre just that messed up. I believe in Heaven and Hell, bt I also believe that God and Satan are the same person, just different sides of him. I beleive that Satan is the stronger entity, because God has the boundaries of good. Satan has no limits. I know I'm going to hell when I die, but not to be a prisoner. I beleive that Satan cursed me with my abilities so he could conquer my soul, and take me as a soldier or general in his army. God will lose the war for earth, then for heaven. Then Satan will rule it all.

I believe that there is only one way to God. And that is through His son, Jesus Christ. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for the sins of man and through that sacrifice, humanity is able to have a relationship with God. I do not believe in religeon. Religeon is like a cult. You can't be yourself in a cult, becuase they make you conform to what they believe. God loves individuality! He made us each unique for that very reason. I believe in a personal God, one that knows each of us down to the last hair on your head. One that loves through our imperfections, flaws, and failures. I also believe that not all people will go to heaven. God gives each of us a choice, an invitation, to make Him a part of our lives. To walk in His way. There are some that don't accept....I believe that those will not enter the kingdom of heaven. I believe that God loves us each very, very much. But since He gave us each free will, that He will not interfere with our lives directly untill we invite Him too. We only have to ask. ~Z~

I have already turned my back and resigned myself to entering Heaven, but despite what many people in the world will tell me after I've said this, I am certain that I will not go to hell... just don't ask why... I just know so. I know it with a certainty you can bend horshoes on. It's that strong.

Then Satan will rule it all. I agree with him, Im am an Ex-christian but I have his philisophical beliefs and when people ask me what I am i say Im am Atheist with a vision. But to my point, if you look at the world today and some very simple things, God and Satan are the same, no one not even god himself is ALL good and Satan is not all evil......they are the same just split, Satan is an entity even Higher than god's evil pices and the one you know as god is the pure pices, tand they can come together but at this point people only call it a war because its a sibling fued........except theses siblings basicly rule the universe. You get me? And if you also look at all the creativity of the anime, video games and suchs in the world, we are not the only earth....or atleast the first earth, i believe there was an Earth before us anmd a God before the god you believe in, just like at the "end of days" if on one of the gods parish (aka Jehova or Satan), Jesus or Damian (thats right i said Damian the son of Satan) shall take over one of the thrones and remake the world, we humans have restirctions as is and how much were ******** up and who ever wins the final battle will make us into lesser beings, the only things humans have left afgter so many remakes of the world is creativity given to us by our creator. I my self have no gift or nack for Anything specifically so therefore Im just a Pawn with knowledge that I am a pawn, so is everyone a paw....I give an except tion to Iron Felix because his hypothesis may be right, there are some chosen to be a higher rank than others in the after life, and most of the world we see are nothing but pawns, but look at the facts..........do you truley believe god actually listens......there is a myth that says "thoses who help themselves get no miricles.......thoses who are handicapped are helped by god and only thoses" that translate into the strong are given individuality while the weak and unstable minded are given help by Jehova..... and though i just went through about 5 different subject it all leads up to this: The world has cause its own downfall, these are the final years of this Earth, and it will take ALOT of generosity and a totaly wipeout of Sin and a place take of Vitures to even get us in balance from all the evil that has happend since the beggining of time, and just because your sins are forgiven doesnt mean they never happend.....there still counted. -Rhys Royale-
