Really guys, they aren't that bad. I find it kinda funny that evreybody here gets pissy when Shino actually laughs, which, omg, shows it's a possibility! Yet, nobody got angry about Episode 101 on what they thought of poor Kakashi! Buck Teeth! Big Lips! How insulting! Show the silver-haired Jonin some respect!
I love Shika, don't get me wrong, but I want to see Shikamaru.. I don't know, lose his cool or somthing
Or get hyper. That'd be funny

It is either the fillers, or the cartoon series is cancled, or the plot goes completely away from what Kishimotto created.
Its a pick your poision situation, and the creators went with the fillers.

The fillers are not THAT bad... most at least. Some are, I'm sorry to say, truly STUPID. But most are at least a bit interesting. And they DO serve a purpose...
