I think it was a just ending because it showed that even in the most dire circumstances someone with a will to win, will infact win. Cloud had a strong will to defeat Sephiroth and move on in his life, and that's exactly what happened.

sephiroth should of definately won! i mean come on it was 3 (cloud and friends) against 1 (sephiroth) talk about fighting dirty cloud!

I do think it would have been cool to see what would have happened if sephiroth won but I think cloud is much cooler

ankaria lol but I want to watch the reunion! ): *gets shot* I would've like to see what happened if Sephiroth won. I like Cloud too, personally, but it'd be....interesting..... o_- yeah, i think it wouldv'e been interesting to see where the storyline went afterward...

maybe they'd make something happen at the end with cloud and aerith joining into the lifestream, instead of just aerith, and something wierd happens...or that cloud kills sephy, but he is ressurrected again and kills cloud, anything couldv'e happened...

The question was should've Sephiroth won, not did you want him to.
So, as the storyline goes, Cloud should've won. And he did.

I lost to Safer Sephiroth the first time I fought him, because Vincent had the status Confu right after Super Nova, AND he had Mega-all. . And it was his turn. Whoops. So, Sephiroth did kinda win the first time I fought him in Safer mode. . I don't know how he was Safer, though. .
But Sephiroth should've won in the end. . I agree with ya' there.
