some modders are actually pretty cool because they will set their mods on like share mods on custom games and then you can do stuff like fly warthogs!!! but if they just spawn kill you the whole time then they arent very cool

kurizu-kun If u mod then u r a noob. no offence but modiing is cheating so if u mod your a noob. i mod but i dont use them when i'm playing against ppl..only if i want to see what they are or just for fun to play with friends during system link so just shut up about moding...if used against ya that makes them win and stuff then ya there a noob

Aight here's my opinion, Mods are fine as long as they are being used in a custom game for fun with everyone. Now if they are being used in matchmaking because either: 1. You suck at the game and you have no skills so you need to mod to do good, or 2. You are doing it because you think it's fun and makes you look cool in front of the other players on your team, then no they are not alright and shouldn't be used. So depending on which one you are, you decide.

well i think mods its okay while its fun for everyone in the game cause just mod for win is completly noob sweatdrop

Modders are cool! They are probably good without modding. My friends make second accounts to mod, bridge, stanby, etc to laugh at the people who care soo much about their ranks and they are good at legit Halo. They just have a lot of spare time (maybe cash) to do all that crap. I guess what you think of modding depends on who you are. I don't like modders when they start talking trash after their games. I don't cheat myself, but I play with friends that do, but not in matchmaking.

modding is fun expecaly on halo trial!!! XD battle base mod LOL!!! needler rox it shoots following rocket launcher bullets WOOT!

What's so noobish about modding?
If you think about all there is to know about modding a game, it's not noobish at all.
It's just cheating.

What's so noobish about modding?
If you think about all there is to know about modding a game, it's not noobish at all.
It's just cheating. A person new to a game is a newb not a n00b. A n00b is someone who goes out of their way to annoy people and breaks rules. Modding is not a n00bish act in general it is those who use it to annoy people and to break the rules of matchmaking to cheat that are the n00bs.

ya know, i like mods. i dunno anything about the ones on my copy of halo....and yes, they are mods.....it's a burn copy given to me by the biggest moder to graduate from my school......
me and my friend still just sit all day finding new stuff about these custom maps and weapons....like this sniper rifle that shoots suped up stikies.....we calls it the mini nuke......heh....and flying ghosts.....and this map that's pure catwalks.....with a huge pit underneath......
basically, i like mods, as long as they're used for the mutual fun of the group....which seems to be the consensus around here any way...
now if some one could just find me a mod so i could play as a grunt.....i'd be happy. or at least content.

But, alas, modding isn't all that noob-ish. Think about it. Modders obviously have a complete understanding of the platform and game. Yes, they can get annoying when they abuse that power. Super annoying. stare

I know loads of modders, they are really good at the game because they take there time to studdy maps and the best ways to kill people. Then combinding things like rocket + bullets= rocket bullets (same speed as bullets but big explosive impact biggrin )
Also they open there mods so other people can use them only so its a fair game and they like to see how good there mod is biggrin
I like modders.
