The blue lion purred loudly, pink tounge flicking to lick his lips at the thought of the delisiously colorful fish that swam overhead. Batting lazily at the fish once more, the lion rolled to his paws, he rather ungracefully pushed himself upright.
"I bet it tastes better..."
He was shakey on his paws, barely able to stand, and as he tried to lift one paw to reach for the fish, the touch from the god was all it took to to throw off what little balance he had and send him sprawling to the ground again. The moment he landed, the lion burst into a giggling fit that seemed be at nothing in particular, but for some reason he found it incredibly funny. Reaching out one paw, he playfully batted at the purple god, still giggling as he tried to stand again.
"Come on...it'll get away."

-His eyes widened, as much as they could with senses dulled and contorted, as the other fell. But the giggles simply brought an amused scoff from him, tail twitching as a goofy grin spread across his face, musing lightly.- "Too strong for my own good"
-Trying to focus on his companion, Lim watched as the tattoos that touched his azure skin began to wiggle and sway themselves, blinking softly as rainbow whisps floated about him, and in the direction of the 'fish'. The lion was right, his stomach was starting to grumble, and those flying fish were tricky things.
Eyes adverting to the escaping prey, he lifted his ears gently, trying to concentrate despite the fact that he couldn't. Before he took a few wobbley steps after the fish, watching the tricky little beast sway to and fro ahead of him.- "Maybe we can corner it...

Unfortunately for Ali, standing up was proving to be a difficult task, to say nothing of actually staying on his feet long enough to chase down the colorful fish that danced tantilizingly before his eyes. But no matter how hard he tried, his paws just would not cooperate, and no matter how many times he actually managed to rise, another fit of ridiculous laughter would send him off balance collapsing his front end to the ground once again. Whatever he kept laughing at must have been hilarious, though he wasn't quite sure what it was.
Finally giving up for the moment, the blue lion turned toward the other, his posture oddly twisted with his front end on the ground contorted so that he was looking up at the purple lion, his tail flicking over his rump, the only part of him that had managed to stay upright.
"Whoa...that's brilliant man, think it'll work?"
Untwisting himself, the lion watched the ellusive fish, captivated by the bright colors that only they saw. Trying to stiffle his giggles, he slunk forward, crawling along the ground, 'stalking' the illusion that swam just out of reach of his paws.

-It was Lim's turn to laugh now, a horrible fit that made him brace himself not to buckle over at the other male's actions. Wriggling and falling, incapable of moving about.
And beyond that, contorting and presenting himself in such a fashion that it sent another soft shiver of feeling and desire through the young god. Too bad the grumble and desire for food so outweighed his desire for pleasure.
As the other male started to crawl, a soft growl touched Lim, and he settled himself to moving sloppily forward on again, trying to circle around the fish that continually seemed to move out of his reach with each step.- "Let's hope so.. I'm starving."

The blue lion slunk toward their 'prey', all but slithering across the ground with his belly dragging, his tail flicking, his rump held higher than his head as he used his hind legs to propell himself forward. But it seemed that he was gaining no ground, that the elusive fish always stayed the exact same distance in front of him, taunting him, making the growling in his stomach grow louder with each step. He shifted his eyes toward the other lion, his speaking in a voice that he thought was a whisper but that came out in a shout.
"I'm gonna try to pounce it now."
He prepared to pounce, his body awkwardly coiled like a spring wound too tight. His tail flicked and with a 'mighty' roar, the blue lion lept, talons extended to grasp at the shimmering illusion. But it was a futile attempt that merely sent him sprawling across the ground with his muzzle in the dirt, his prize slipping through his paws to swim away again.
"It's coming your way, man, catch it."

-It was here were the two illusions ceased to match, a soft look of confused frustration as for a moment Ali appeared to have jumped THROUGH the fish in Lim's eyes. And it took him a moment to respot it, before he began to 'prowl' his way forward.
Splaying his feathers out, thinking that begin big would block the fish's escape better, he slunk along, watching the distance between the two lions shrink. It looked as if the fish were RIGHT in front of the blue god.. why hadn't he grabbed it yet?
The rippling of a growl touching his throat, he pressed forward until he was but a few strides before the other, watching the fish hover and bob in a slow sway.- "Coming right at you dude."
-He lopped the few strides closer, seeming to become better with his walking the more he did it. However stopping seemed just as hard, and just as he found himself barreling towards the blue lion, the fish was gone, and his head snapped about, trying to locate it, despite the fact that he might very well bowl over the other male in a matter of seconds.-

The blue lion hadn't quite managed to pick himself up yet, his intoxicated body having grown tired and stiff, and perhaps a touch painful and grogy from his missed pounce. Lifting his head, paws fumbling under him, the stunned lion struggled to his feet.
"Huh? Where?"
He looked about frantically, eyes searching for their 'prey', but it seemed to have disappeared. But the other lion's words were enough to make him think he'd caught a glimpse of the fish swimming before him, and not wanting it to escape again, Ali lept at the creature, or at least where he thought it was. Unfortunately his pounce barely got off the ground and only hastened his immanent collision with the purple god.
His body met the other's with a resounding thud. Having less momentum than the god, the brunt of the impact sent Ali sprawling into the dirt once again.
"owwww...dude, my head."
Maybe he should just lay here and stop trying to get up, the ground seemed to like his company.

-As the two collided, Lim found himself creening over backwards, eyes flickering to the other male who, with the brunt of force went sprawling as well.- "S.. Sorry!" -The first words, mixed with an uncomfortable groan. The fish was gone, he couldn't spot it.
And slowly the intoxication was slipping away from him, only speeded by the hunger that rippled at his stomach and now the dull throb of pain that touched him. The colors were gone, only the soft feeling remained, and the gentle sway as he picked himself up and began to walk towards Ali.
Drawing close enough, he looked over the other lion, lossing the urge he'd had to help him up, instead settling on the ground near him once again. Man he was hungry.. and that dumb fish had gotten away. Swaying his tail in soft frustration, he startled when the weight hit his leg. Wait a second. How could he have forgotten that!?
Laughing, a small sound that continued almost into a roll, he settled himself onto his back, pulling forward his tail and the treasure trove of grapes that always hung from it. Meat might have been a preference.. but godly grapes sure hit the spot from time to time. Trying hard to control the laughter that bubbled from him he held out his tail to the other.- "I totally forgot. Want some grapes?"

The blue lion laid silently for a time, one paw over his eyes. The illusion had foresaken him, replaced by bright flashes of the ache in his head. The effects of the herb fading, hunger was soon met with exhaustion and he was no longer sure which he should satisfy.
"It's okay man."
He couldn't really fault the other afterall, it anything it was that damned fish's fault. Blinking, he finally lifted his head to look at the purple lion, pale eyes struggling to focus on the blurry image, his senses dulled by the wanning intoxication.
Grapes? Ali'ikai was well versed with most plants and fruits from the savanah to the jungle, but he had never seen any like those the god offered. Perhaps if he had realized the purple lion was a god that would have made sense, though in his current state his brain was rather fuzzy. Either way, they looked quite tastey, and his stomach quickly reminded him just how hungry he was.
"Sure....thanks man."

-Settling his tail upon the ground between the two of them, Lim leaned forward, using an extended claw to loosen a few grapes before they roll harmlessly into his other paw, held between pads to keep the sweet fruits from escaping.
He lapped at them gently, eating his few one at a time, savoring the flavor that he himself hadn't really tasted upon in a long time, feeling his stomach shift to accept the meager food.
Before his eyes lifted curiously to the blue god. His grapes were something more of a lure he used then an actual food. A sweet and unknown temptation used to draw close others. But as of yet he couldn't remember ever having offered them to a god. Would he know what they were?"
-He gave his mane a soft shake, his feathers a firm rustle, but still he was feeling awfully foggy and groggy.-

A blue ear flicked, pale eyes looking toward the unknown fruit, then to the god and back again. They certainly looked edible, and he was hungry. Reaching out a paw, he pulled a few of the purple grapes from the vine, looking at them in his paw for a moment before popping one of them in his mouth.
He wasn't sure what he'd been expecting, but either way he was pleasantly surprised. They were good, sweet, and taking a brief moment to savor the taste, he quickly scarfed the others to satisfy his aching stomach.
"Oh man, those are great."
It wasn't much to fill his stomach, but it was enough to overide his hunger and remind him that his head was pounding and he was growing sleepy. Flashing a goofy grin at the purple god, Ali suddenly flopped over on his back, paws stretching overheard before tucking against his chest, a wide yawn parting his maw, eyes closing to the shade of the trees above.
"Mmmm...fishy, fishy, fishy..."

-Lim watched intently as the other lion ate, and began to show signs of weariness, his own body taking the motion as a suggestion. He was a little sleepy himself, so he didn't try to stir or bother the other as he seemed to drift.
This god was one of few words.. it'd be rude to slather him with questions.. ecspecially when he wanted nothing more then sleep. No, he'd just have to find another with a slick tongue to tell him. Someone else who knew him.
Lifting his body he gave a tired little shake, letting a purr rumble loudly through his throat. And as he made his way past the other, he let his tail brush against his side, a soft and silent symbol of grattitude and pleasure, before his body began to follow his eyes, and slowly the god began to make his way towards the horizon.-
