Mkugenzi returned shortly after the little female had fallen asleep. He smiled placing the food he had braught to one side for when she woke before going and curling next to her. He was sorry he hadn't known she was pregnant befoere she left, he would have begged her to stay, but now he knew, he was happy, he had never thought about being a father, he supposed now was thetime to start.

Nawari woke up a little later she felt much better now after some rest but then she felt another kick against her tummy she mad a none happy face and tought it had to be time for them to come soon because her tummy would turn blue soon if they didnt.
Then she noticed Genzi and smiled.
" Oh hallo..i see you are back...oh before i start to eat or anything there is a few things i want to know about you. Like how does it come you are living here? and how did you make friends with a lion? "

Mkugenzi chuckled lightly his dark olive eyes glimmering. It wasn't an unfair question, he supposed she would ask eventually. "wull, when I wasn't that much younger than I was now that thar lioness saved me from a very sticky situation. She didn't want to eat me so we became friends." He grinned in a rather silly manner. "The swamps have always been Kikawaidas home so when she returned here I bout came back with her. It takes a bit of gettin' used to but it's a nice, safe place to livee, noone will eat ya"
Nudging Nawari's cheek lightly he peerd over her shoulder at her rollig belly "they'll be safe 'ere too" he stated touching her stomach with his nose.

Oh what a nice story she had met other animals on her way around and then back here when she found out when she was pragnent she had met both frienly and less frienly creatures but all very sweet but not a very close friend..she rolled over to her side when Genzi touched her tummy she just felt so round like she had eaten an elephant or something..
" I don't think they have such a long time left in there...it's just a feeling i have...and what a nice friend story you told me "

Mkugenzi grinned broadly and nuzzled Nawari's ears "woi don't ye be gettin' some sleep lassy hmm? Oi'll watch over ye jus' ye be nudgin me if ya need anythin' awroight?" the dark green male smiled brightly. He was truely amazed by nawari, she was beautioful, and she was so brave, travelling around pregnant!
The olive eyed male rested his head on her stomach and grinned. "Oi'm gunna be a daddy?" he chuckled lightly. "blimey."

She smiled and scratched her belly some with her front paws she hoped they would come soon so she could move again oh well move all lightly again and not like a ball. She started batting at his ears with one off her paws to try settle her restless tummy..
" haha yes! of course you are going to be a daddy what did you expect when i slept in your den last time ha? "
She rolled her eyes and laughed silly boy he wasn't so bright when it come to females but she was sure he was gonna be a good daddy <3

~~ about a week or so later~~
Mkugenzi padded in through the den entrance with a yawn, he had a bounce in his step though, he had been out and about seeing his lioness friends, he couldn't help but gloat that Nawari was bareing his children. Beaming he hopped towards the pale female with a smile "Alo dawlin'" he whispered slipping up to her carefully and nuzzling her cheek "how ya feelin?" he smiled gently his dark eyesa grinning proudly, she looked so beautiful to him, she almost glowed to him. Her pregnancy had made her even more beautiful in his eyes, if that was even possible, he truely adored his pale mate.

Timeskip...
...
A few days past. Nawari felt havier and havier for each day her tummy was very livley and the kittens inside where definitly kicking and being alive in there. Nawari had mostly been resting in Genzi's den and eating and drinking not to fun actually but she her her dearest Genzi to keep her company. She loved listen to his voice and his funny accent for each day she felt more inlove with him <3 witch was so gooood well she just loved being inlove and pragnent.
Early in the morning Nawari felt it was time for the babies to arrive, she wasn't nervous just tired for not been able to sleep anough this night. She moved to a good position and made a mewing noise to wake up Genzi if something happend he had to be awake to help her. She took some havier breaths and after sometime the first pup arrived...it was white and yellow and looked so much like her awwww a little copy off her mommy and it was a little boy too. She licked him clean and felt it was time for another one..
Not soon after a strong greenish female arrived she had some black on her too witch was a little odd because either Nawari or Genzi had black on them...all this made her very tired but also very happy. The little green female pushed her brother to the side with her strong nose and her brother puffed back...
Nawari licked her babies and tought everthing was over when a much smaller little kitten arrived. Nawari blinked and looked at the little black and yellow kitten first she tought it wasn't breathing she bent down her head and started to lick it then it started to move around it was a little weaker then the other 2 but started to get livley too after a while. Nawari sighed happily this one...another little female seemed to make it too but they probably had to keep an eye on her..and this little one looked even more weird...where did the 2 females got the black from?
So now Nawari and Mkugenzi was happy parents off 2 girls and 1 boy that they where going to name Ripuka, Chane and Kivuli the order is in what the kittens came, male/female/female..

Mkugenzi watched quietly as his chil;dren came in to the world, his olive coloured eyes smiling. He was careful not to desturb Nawari while she gave birth but he was keen to see his children.
When it seemed all wa sover he approached carefully and looked at them "they's beautiful" he whispers nuzzling Nawari happily. Two girls and a boy. Chuckling softly he noticed her confusion at the black upon their daughters "Moi ol mam she was black as the ace o spades she were, musta gotten that from er" He nodded licking Nawari's cheek "you rest now love. You're very brave" he whispers a constant smile on his face, he was a very proud father.

Ripuka felt the oddest thing in the whole wide world as he was birthed from his warm palace too the cold of the world. He squeeked his protest; wiggling until he was benieth something warm and snuggly. His little black nose nuzzled his Mommy until he found the nourishment of life. Being the first born and the only boy, he was going to be a real treat for his family. He drank his fill and nuzzled into his warm bodied breathren and soon fell asleep with his tiny belly in the air and full of milk. Life was good for this little boy.

Nawari wanted to make sure all her babies ate before she took some rest. The boy really seemed hungry and she couldn't help to laugh but very weak. She nuzzeld genzi back when he came to see his babies and he really looked proud <3 she was happy and with that she closed her eyes to get some rest..
A green and black little genet girl finally found what she was looking for after comming out from what she came from. She was not sure off anything at all more then the food she needed and that she felt secure because off everyone else around her. She was loved..

The third child of mkugenzi and Nawari lay curled deep against her mothers fur, this new life, though cold at first now felt very good, she drank and slept, happy to be out in this world, a world she felt already would hold alot in store for her.

Nawari streched out her body after some rest she still felt tired and fat but it was all better now. She licked her kittens again and pawed and Genzi he still looked so silly and proud at the same time..
" So dear...what do you want to do with these 3? i meen should they grow up here or what should we do? "
Chane just curled around with her brother and sister she was livley just like her mother even if she had her fathers colors...then she lost her balance and started to roll...and roll and dashed into her fathers leg but she couldn't really see that well yet she just felt that this wasn't her mother at all...who was it?
