G.W.S. This is a tough one, but I'm going to have to go with Big Papi. Ortiz just really personifies what makes the Red Sox a great team. He's got charisma and more than a little pop in his bat. You can really tell that he's having a blast when he takes the field. (Not to mention his undeniable clutch hitting ability.) he´s awesome! Papi has my vote for AL MVP so far. wink

MAKE US FELIZ!!! razz he is one of the great young players right now, and if he played in a hitters ballpark more often he would get like 35+ HR's a year! but because hes in SF his numbers aren't as high with the Rockies or Rangers he´d have like 40, but i hope he never leaves the Giants.

doc.hyphae who´s your favorite player in the MLB and why? my favorite is Carlos Beltran, because he can combine power, speed, average, and many other things. i´ve liked him ever since i saw him play in 2004 with the Astros. ok first he never played with the astros he played with the royals i know this because he's from Puerto Rico and so am i so thats that and your right he does have all the talent in the world

Papi has my vote for AL MVP so far. wink not me i'm still going for jeter not only because the yankees are my favorite team but that also he has led the yanks past the bo sox when everyone was talking s**t that they wont make the playoffs because sheffield and matsui were out well quess what, the yanks are first in there division by 2 games and the bo soxs arent even in first in the wild card there third behind the twinkies(a.k.a. twins) and the white soxs so there u have it. but if the bo soxs make the playoffs ( which they wont) but if they do then yes big papi it is.

withgameswearenothing barry bond the best giant player what barry bonds i mean i hate that guy i mean he has great numbers but why?....hmmm....BECAUSE HE TOOK STEROIDS HELLO!!!!! i mean its obvious. if u look at a picture of him with the pirates or the bigging when he was with the giants he was skinny as hell. he stole 30 or 40 bases every year. and then all of a sudden he got so huge and look he's hitting like 50 homers a year that is so steroid proof
