Hey,it's DirtyDeeds.Changed my name again xd
I like Bon over Brian, but I think the 80's ACDC after Back In Black were genius. They pretty much lost fans until The Razor's Edge. But I like Blow Up Your Video and Flick Of The Switch.
Ummm,I have Back In Black,Let There Be Rock,The Razors Edge,Highway To Hell and DDDDC.And Live at Donington on DVD. biggrin

I think Bon was meant to die when he did.. Otherwise they wouldn't have found Brian, and might not have made an album that was awarded the Diamond Award by the RIAA and is the sixth highest selling album of all time. But still, February 19, 2004, is a sad, sad day in my book.

MetalHead76 All I can say about Ozzfest is thank god for Black Sabbath and Judas Priest. I know there are some other bands on there who are probably good, but I haven't heard any of their music. All I wanted to hear was Priest and Sabbath. But I didn't get to go, sadly. I went, mainly to see Priest, Sabbath, and Slayer(even though I ended up leaving during Sabbath's set...) but most of the other bands this year were good, too.

I, sadly, haven't heard any music by Slayer. I think that a local band did a cover of one of their songs once, but that doesn't count.
More about Bon Scott: My friend was born on Feb. 19, 1990.. Exactly ten years after Bon's death. And he's a huge AC/DC fan. He's Bon reincarnated. I take that back, he's not that cool.

Wow...I really hate requesting that you stoop this low, but assuming that you like thrash metal, and none of your friends like Slayer...you COULD risk asking a mallcore kid to burn you a Slayer CD...they're popular with the mallcore kids, unfortunately. gonk

Shiney Dollar oh, well were i come from... it's hit everyone in about grade 9... they all started liking everything, which is kinda wierd because some music contradicts everything. And all the people who wanted to be cool said "Ya, i like Ozzy... did you see his show last night?" and stuff, it was really wierd caouse it wasn't even about ,usic, people only liked title tracks. It's like they were drinking some sort of Poser-ahol. And me and my friends who were metal heads got fed up so we started asking people questions about the bands. pfft, they thought they knew everything about them.... i asked one person about Gene Simmons and he said "uh, i don't remember any female oldies bands...." ha! thats the effects of poser ahol.
ya, i was quite sure that stuff like that happend everywere, but i guessnot... nee ways i thought it so cool how brain could mimick Bon's such original voice SO well! And he did do a fantastic job. He kept ac dc running even though they had lost thier voice. So i give props tp Brain *claps* Little kids like that are everywhere. There are maybe TWO real metal heads at my school, myself(and my kid brother who quizzes me on classic rock trivia) i just prefer older music but i really have no true crowd, just a few little underclassman and one other senior who understands anime and role play that i hang out with, but i'm from a really really small school, only 500 students and it's a combined jr/sr high. But then, i'm not sure i'd have a crowd anyway if i DID go to a big school, i have too many interests(martial arts, biology(dinosaurs and predators mainly) classic rock, teaching myself to play guitar through tabs off the internet, reading big books and i write novels of my own).

I only have the worst type of mallcore kids... All they like is Slipknot and Insane Clown Posse. I remember reading somewhere that ICP was voted the worst band ever. That was before I had ever heard of them. I still haven't heard any of their music, and I'm hoping that might stay that way.
I know one or two kids that like Slayer. I'm just not good enough friends with them to ask them for such a favor.

They randomly scream out lyrics from ICP songs like "Who's going chicken huntin', we's going chicken huntin'. Kill the mother ******** chicken now." I really dislike when they sing that...>< They tell me it sounds like Metallica but with rap. Though I really don't want to find out if thats true or not. I remember last year, there was only one kid I knew who shared an interest in classic rock. Now a days everyone is wearing Zeppelin and GNR T-Shirts. Its kind of annoying really...I doubt over half of them really know about the bands they wear. Damn Hott Topic...ever since they started selling a bunch of classic band tees, everyone seems to have suddenly gotten an interest in them.

Yeah, there are these two girls a grade below me at my school who were GnR shirts just about everyday. I myself don't have a GnR shirt, even though they're pretty much one of my favorite bands. This is for two reasons: One, my mom is a teacher and won't let me wear shirts that have a guns on them or even say "gun" on them, and two, the only band shirts near me are at Hot Topic, and they only have two or three GnR ones. When I got a GnR shirt, I want it to be one no one else owns.

That is quite possibly Slayer's WORST album.(Not including the mallcore God Hates Us All) Get her to burn you Hell Awaits, or Reign In Blood. Or if you have Soulseek or can get it, I'll do you the favor myself.

They certainly aren't mallcore(not in their early days at least) they were a great thrash band.
