Aishiki rose, moving forward determinedly. "You're in Gaia now. Getting well. This is your bonded," she added, remembering belatedly that she never HAD gotten the man's name. "I'm Aishiki."

Neko didn't mind not being introduced. He never DID tell her his name, after all. "My name's N--"
The tiger Juusanshi wrapped the black cloak around his waist like a towel, tucking in the end and holding it there to make sure it wouldn't fall while he looked to the cat woman.
"Ai... shiki?" he said a bit slowly, thinking about the name for a moment.
Neko twitched at being interrupted. The nerve...
"Nope..." he said, shaking his head a little bit, his blondish bangs falling over his eyes a little bit. "Never heard of you. However, it is a pleasure to meet you, m'lady."
Bowing gracefully, he introduced himself, "My name is Tai-bo. Most called me Tai."
"My name's Ne--"
Straightening up, Tai-bo glanced over his shoulder at the demon. "I don't believe I asked you for your name."
...Why did he always get the smartasses? This one was irritating him real quick.
"I'm the one giving you a home, am I not?" Neko hissed.
"Yes, bu--"
"Well then! With that settled, my name is Neko," he got out, clenching his teeth.

Aishiki looked between the two of them, startled. She stepped back warily, one arm curling around her middle as she chewed her lower lip. Eventually, she turned away from the unsettling tiger, her eyes seeking Neko once again. "Thank you for your kindness, Neko," she offered softly, her tail lashing uncomfortably behind her. "We all appreciate your aid." Blue eyes sought the tiger's for a moment. "Don't we?"

Tai-bo looked to Aishiki for a moment, raising a brow. Never argue with a woman, he was taught long ago. Especially felines.
"Yes yes," he sighed, caving in and turning to Neko. "...Th.......... Thhhhhhhhhhhhh.................." He coughed, looked away, and muttered under his breath. "Thank you."
Neko crossed his arms over his chest, his tail flicking a little bit. This attitude would be fixed, he decided, if nothing else. He would not be getting any "I told you so's" from Domonic any time soon.
"Not a problem..." he said, looking over to Aishiki, "and thank you for your help, ma'am. Despite how things may end up, I still would like to do all that I can to help in the future."

"Do you happen to know Trio? She's my bonded," Aishiki said, offering Neko an apologetic smile before glancing back to the trees. She suddenly wanted nothing so much as to be back home.

Neko had to think about that for a moment. Trio... Trio... Oh!!
"Yes I do!" he said with a smile, his ears shifting a little bit. "I haven't seen her in a real long time, though. How's she doing?"
While the cat inquired about her bond, Tai-bo moved to snatch the moon-shaped pin from Neko's hand, who willingly gave it up. Pinning the cloak to that it wouldn't fall when he released it, he nodded to himself in approval. As soon as they were able, he was getting some decent clothes.

"She's well. She has a new little one to look after," Aishiki said with a smile. "Her house is actually not that far. Go that way," she added, pointing east. "You should run across it. She may have something for Tai-bo to wear, as well as something to eat, if you like." She paused, then continued. "I asked because you mentioned helping us again someday. If you ever wish to, you can speak to her about it."

For a moment, a troubled look crossed Neko's face. He wanted to see Trio, he really did... but she didn't know about his little "transformation". He didn't want to scare her, but then again, would she even be afraid? True, he did act a bit different than his female self, but he was still Neko.
"I take it she's a big part of helping you guys out, ne?" he said, smiling once more. "That's Trio, all right... still as sweet as ever. Maybe we'll sto--"
"Maybe? No no, I do believe we WILL be going," Tai-bo insisted, folding his arms across his bare chest. "I think we may both need proper rest, as I don't intend on getting sick again."
Was that an act of concern, or selfishness?
"Besides... I wish to personally thank m'lady's bond for helping us. And I'm sure you'll want to catch up with her, since you haven't seen her in a long time. Honestly, how rude can that possibly be?"
He was the one getting lectured on being rude? This was going to be some trip indeed.
"Well, he's got a point, as much as I hate to admit it," Neko sighed, rolling his eyes a little bit. "I guess we're off to see Trio, then."

Aishiki smiled gently. "I'm sure she'll be happy to see you. Just... be aware. There are some new additions to her household," she noted, then blinked. "Then again... um... that's sort of common, isn't it?" She hesitated a moment more, then moved a step toward her own home. "I'll... see you later then?"

Neko couldn't help but chuckle a little bit. "Trust me..." he said, lifting a hand to scratch the back of his head, "I'm used to full houses."
Tai-bo frowned a little bit, turning to look at Aishiki. "But, alas! Parting is suAH!!"
The demon had wasted no time in picking up the tiger and heaving him onto his shoulder, carrying the Juusanshi in a "fireman's carry" style.
"I'm gonna have to work with this one, please excuse us. Will you be all right going home by yourself?"
"Put me down, you heathan! Barbarian! This is an OUTRAGE!!" Tai-bo screamed, smacking his fists into Neko's back.
Neko twitched a little bit, noticing that this one was much stronger than he looked or let on. Still, he was stronger.
"...I'm gonna have to REALLY work with this one."

"We'll need it," they said at the same time, the demon moving one hand to wave to the cat woman. "Take care! Perhaps we shall meet again!"
With Tai-bo on his shoulder, Neko began to make his way toward the east, wondering how long it might take to get to Trio's.
