Tumai chuckled as he felt the cub perk up and move up his body, treading as carefully as she could on his mane so that she could reach his face and pat his cheek. When she nipped his ear, it reminded him of the time when him and Ithi used to play fight, only Ithi would bite him a lot harder than that. "Got me again!" He laughed, shaking his head gently in a playful attempt to shake the cub off.
Smiling thoughtfully, he considered the future. "With your parents permission, I could take you with me next time I go to visit my mother and sister. If you wanted to of course." If the cub was going to stay true to her word, and not leave her family, then the least he could do was offer her a small trip outside of the Valley.
At the mention of cubs, Tumai smiled warmly. He had always thought he would make a good father someday, and Aleu had told him that on more than one occasion. But to hear it from a cub just seemed that little bit more meaningful. "Thank you so much." His eyes gleamed wistfully. "My mate and I plan to have cubs of our own someday, when the rains return to the Valley."

As Tumai shook his head in retaliation, Sevati playfully rolled down his shoulder before lying on her back next to his paws. Closing her eyes, she snuck a peek before lying her head back, "Oh no...Tumai has shaken me off!" Trying to hold in a giggle, it didn't last very long before one came out. It was nice to play around with Tumai, she liked it a lot. Though, his words piqued her curiosity as she opened her eyes and rolled over to rest her head on his paw. Take her out to see his mother and sister! Wow, that was something she didn't expect at all. But, it sounded so wonderful and so alluring that she couldn't resist the offer! "That sounds like fun Tumai! I've never been too far out, I don't want to get lost or anything..." She paused before continuing, "I'd love to see your mom and sister! I bet they're nice, like you are! And, I couldn't see my Daddy or Mommy objecting to a little adventure."
Catching the look in his eye, she felt herself smile. It made her all warm and fuzzy for some reason, but she liked it. "You have a mate?! What is her name? Can I meet her?" Another lion to meet! "I hope you have lots of cubs, so I can have plenty of playmates." She couldn't help but giggle at the idea of playing with mini versions of Tumai. Though, his latter words made her look at him. Had it always been this dry here? For as long as she can remember, it's been slightly dry with little to no rain. "The rain should come soon...or at least, I hope so."

As Sevati rolled to his side, Tumai went to tickle her tummy, but she rolled on to her stomach just in time. When she rested her head on his paw, he lifted his other paw and ruffled the fur on her head, chuckling as he did so. There could be no greater responsibility than looking after someone else's cub, so he hoped that Sevati's parents would trust him. Of course, they would probably want to meet him first, which he would gladly agree to.
Tumai laughed as the cub gushed about him having a mate. "Don't sound so suprised!" He smiled fondly. "Her name is Aleu, and I know that she would be very happy to meet you." At the mention of the rain, he nodded firmly. "I hope so too."

As he ruffled the fur on her head, Sevati giggled. She stuck out her tongue playfully before her tail wagged back and forth. She loved the idea of going out with Tumai as the idea circled around in her head for some time. She really had no idea what outside of the Mistweaver's land looked like for that matter. But what did matter was that this was her home. Pawing at Tumai before she smiled at him, "I'm not as surprised as I am excited. You don't seem like a lonely lion, Tumai...Aleu. Oh! I can't wait to meet her too!"
Rain, she wanted to see the rain that she's heard about from her sickly mother whenever she gets the chance to talk to her mother. A soft sigh escaped her before she shook her head, she can't let the thought sadden her. Putting a smile back on her face, she pawed Tumai's paw before dashing off, "You're it!"

Tumai grinned at the thought of Sevati meeting Aleu. He was well aware of how much Aleu wanted a family, and of how much she loved cubs. No doubt they would both get on really well.
The thoughtful lion noticed the cub's solemn sigh, and was just about to ask her what was wrong when she tapped his paw. He took his time getting to his feet, as he wanted to give Sevati a head start. "Get ready to be it Sevati!" He shouted after her with a laugh, before giving chase.

Running away from Tumai, Sevati would glance back every now and then to see where the male was. She giggled as he claimed he'd catch her. Taunting him back, "Of course you won't Tumai!" She turned and weaved slightly through the trees just as long as she wasn't too close to the male. What a sight she was, a white dot speeding by, as fast as her little legs could carry her. She knew that Tumai was bigger and because of that, it would be easier for him to catch her.
She lept over a small bush before glancing back at the cream male, and stuck out her tongue, "You'll never catch me!" And while she tried to keep a good distance between her and Tumai, sooner or later she'd make a wrong turn and run right into the male...it was only a matter of time before she slipped up.

Tumai wasn't even running at full speed, as he wanted the cub to think that she would win. At the same time though, he didn't want to let her out of his sight, as she was currently his responsibility while her parents weren't around.
"Slow down!" He called after her, laughing as he did so. He hadn't had this much fun since he was a cub. It had been far too long since he last let himself go. Grinning, he ducked to the left, in an attempt to cut the cub off.

Ears flicked as Sevati had heard Tumai's call to her. She giggled and felt a smile light up her face. It sure was fun. Though, she was having so much fun, she wasn't watching where she turned and made a sharp turn towards Tumai. Once her lime green eyes landed on the large male's figure, she tried to skid to a stop but that didn't work. She successfully bumped into Tumai.
She shook her head a bit to clear her thoughts before she blinked. Oh no! Tumai could have tagged her by now! She lowered herself before pouncing into his fluffy mane, "You'll never get me!"

Tumai laughed and wrapped both his front paws around Sevati as she bumped into him. "Too late, I already did!" The combined laughter of the pair could probably heard for miles around. The young adult had well and truely let himself go, and the result was a very amused and happy lion.
Cradling the cub in his paws, he smiled down at her. "I feel honoured to have met you Sevati. You're a credit to your family, and to the Mistweavers. Never let anyone tell you otherwise." Saying that, he placed Sevati back on the ground and looked towards the cliff with the large waterfall. "I should probably be heading home now. Aleu is new to the Valley, so if she's gone for a walk, I want to be there for when she returns."
Still smiling, he leaned down to lick the cub's forehead, chuckling as he realised that his tongue had caused some of the fur on her head to stand up.

Purring softly, Sevati rubbed her head against Tumai's leg happily. This was quite a nice day for the little white cub. As Tumai said that he had to leave, she stood up and gazed at him. "I hope to see you again Tumai!" Her tail flicked from side to side as she nuzzled him softly before turning to head back to where her family was staying. "Bye Tumai!!"

"Bye Sevati!" Smiling, Tumai watched as the little cub made her way home, keeping his eye on her until she was completely out of sight. He would never forget her, and looked forward to meeting her again, along with her parents. Still smiling, he then turned and broke into a jog, heading back in the direction of his den.
(( heart Thanks for the RP! smile ))
