((Now I'm confused. I asked if we were prepared for this cold climate and you said we just sort of appeared. Yet the two crew come by with clothing, hoods, armories, etc. and Valkiron is completely ready for a winter assault. Only Jaz and I started off like you said, just here for some wierd reason. Are we prepared for this climate or not? If you decide to change your mind now, which in turn will explain the crews' and Valkiron's post then Jaz and I are now at a disadvantage unless you'll allow us to edit our posts. Sorry if I sound like a p***k, but everything seems to be contradictory to the answer you gave me.))

EDIT - ((And also with all that weight, the snow must be really really compact if you're not sinking in it. I mean we're on twenty feet of snow, you'd sink with each step if you were hundreds of pounds.))
(( It is... BECUASE, 20 feet of snow is heavy right? So... the weight of the top layer condensed and condensed until the WHOLE 19 1/2 of it was nearly as hard as bricks. The other half a foot is softer, and the first inch is REALLY soft. It is also still snowing... so it is rising every second. Density ALSO is what cuases people to sink- if you are made of 100 pounds of water, you will not sink neccisarily. Also... I thought you KNEW how these fight worked, um, sorry, YOU CAN EDIT YOUR POSTS! mrgreen 3nodding ))

"I see your point, Valkiron," Carlos said acknowledgingly. "But, if we remain out here, finding the enemy or not, hyporthermia will get to us quicker. If we find a place to stay for, even a couple of minutes, where it is warmer. Then we'll have a smaller advantage because our enemies will most likely still be out here in the cold. More susceptible to hyporthermia." He looked over at Jaz who was shivering, "Don't you see one of our teamates is freezing. And I won't lie, I'm freezing as well." After a moment he deicded to try and lead Valkiron to his decision, "Using the points I stated before. The enemy may have tried to find shelter, themselves, within the mountain. So following your lead, we'll be heading that direction anyway."

"Okay, I see your point. I just hope you are right. Besides we stayed in one place way too long. That is not the best way to keep warm. We need to get moving."
Valkiron thought about it and took his thermal goggles off his face. It took his eves a while to adjust to the surrounding. When they were he took the safety off his OICW and loaded a grenade from his bandolier into the grenade launcher. He then set off towards the mountain range,

The time spent waiting near De Marco for a signal of sorts had taken its toll. His pants had begun to slowly freeze and he was now shuffling his feet to keep them from becoming numb. "It might be a good time for us to follow them..by this time they've probally moved to keep warm..we should engage them..That would definitely warm me up.."

Carlos nodded in agreement and at his own accomplishment. A lot quicker than a fight, he thought as he walked to the other two recruits and tried to nudge them forward. "Come on guys, we're heading out." Noticing the one who wish to take the lead ready his weapon he figured it wasn't a bad idea. After urging the other two forward, Carlos swung his M-4 around and held it ready. "Alright, the faster we move the faster we get warmer. Try to keep yourself warm, this weather will certainly give us hell."

"LET'S GO THEN! " De Marco said, as he began to follow them.

Following De Marco and Zetsumei, Kousetsu had with him his trusty katana which he never let out of his sight. He also had 6 throwing knives around his person that he was prepaired to use. He was wearing normal martial arts clothes and had his hand a feet wraps, and he also had his samurai straw hat on. He was freezing to death but he sucked it up because he was in the presence of two other officers both his rank or higher. "I believe this should be quite hard with this weather like this. I suggest we find shelter before we literally freeze to death. You don't have to listen to me though as I'm not that important." He nodded his respect to both gentlemen as he talked.

Jaz began walking forward,
Waiting for some one else to lead.
She loaded her Desert Eagle,
Taking to off saftey and holding it at her side.
"I wonder if we'll actually be able to defeat them..."
She muttered.

Suko stepped into place behind Valkiron, Carlos, and Jaz, squinting through the snow. She was wearing a thermal body-suit under another skin-tight leather one. Leather straps wound themselves around her legs, tightly buckling an array of throwing daggers onto her thighs. A small pistol rested at her hip, her katana next to it. She had almost no experiance with guns, but she had thought the pistol might come in handy. A long dagger was strapped to her back by a leather strap that wrapped around her waist, also serving as the harness for her katana and pistol. Combat boots were laced tightly to her feet, and gloves covered her hands. A fur-lined hood protected her head from the wind, although left her face open to the elements. Her suit was pretty light-weight and a little streatchy, allowing a wide range of movement.

Suko took quick, small steps, moving foreward slowly but keeping her body working so that she wouldn't be any more cold than she had to be. Her feet sunk in about 1/4 a foot with each step, powdery snow flying away as she raised each foot. Her arms came around her waist, hugging herself as she trembled violently. The sun reflecting off the snow kept her squinting, making it harder for her to see much. She hoped that they would find a warmer place quickly, she could see very plainly how dangerously cold this place was.

Carlos' breath started to become heavy as the weight of everything bore down on him. As the group reached the base of the mountain he turned around and looked at everyone else. Hopefully they were fairing better than he was right now. He then looked towards Valkiron and asked, "Do you want to stand post for now while we scout out a cave or something? Or would you rather help everyone else get warmer?" He then unclipped something from his belt and held it out. It was a pair of binoculars with a thermo switch on the side. "Your call."

De Marco, close enough, crouched down, and took out his Berreta. Pearing through the scope, De Marco switched scope to heat vision- If they were still alive, their heat would be hotter than anything else. Finding, an seeing his target, Me=Me, De Marco calculated the wind speed, and the aproximate snow-fall per second, as well as the aproximate distance between them, and aimed in the correct position. It was near 600 meters, and in near un-seable snow, as De Marco readied, and fired.

Watching De Marco closely Kousetsu kneeled down next to him without a sound and watched in the direction the gun was pointed. He saw nothing but he knew De Marco did. "Good luck man." He wispered his encouragement. He was freezing to the bone now and couldn't stop shaking a bit. His clothes were definitly not for that type of weather but that didn't matter he would have to fight and that's all that mattered.

Before Valkiron could answer Carlos heard a loud shot and then the binoculars fell from his hand into the snow. The body of Carlos then fell to the ground as the snow around it started to become stained in red. Carlos' breathing was heavy as he placed his hand around his wound, a single hole that pierced straight through his gut. Coughing uncontrollably, he looked up at the others and tried to tell them to move. "Ge..," he coughed, "ge...out..." He stopped trying to speak and tried to pull himself through the snow. The warmth of his blood slowly melting away a small snowy grave. Not this way, he thought as he continued trying to crawl to the mountain. If he could reach a rock he'd be able to stop himself from being buried.

De Marco saw the moving body, and fired twice at it.

((Well that sucks. sad crying I didn't even get to show my fighting ability. All well, fun is fun and what's done is done.))

Two more shots were heard and the once crawling body of Carlos now came to a halt. His body slowly sinking into his icy grave as his blood melted it from beneath him. Hie eyes staring into nothing and his arm outstretched holding a small pack of snow within a frozen dead fist. Everything for him was now gone.
