Appearently in any Yuu Watase's manga...the ending stories I love the most is Fushigi Yuugi heart
Well,about Ayashi no Ceres ending...
I really get excited cos Tooya didn't die at all...
but also felt very sad cos have to see Aki dies in the end of the series (and he die in front of her own lil sis, Aya)
One more that make me sad about is Tooya won't be able to lived longer enough with Aya...
Oh My God! crying
Have you already read Ayashi no Ceres Gaiden novel translations? (I don't know if I spelled it right or wrong)
I read some of it while surfing in internet...
Someone told me that in the end,Tooya able to lived as a normal guy with her wife, Aya and their child, Miku... heart
(and once more, Aya also give another birth - its a boy) and they said it was reincarnations of Aki... heart

too many reoccuring endings...if theres 2 guyz thats been in luv w/ the gurl since the beginning then they BOTH gets her...in a weird way (you know what im talking bout if you've read ceres and absolute bf), and if theres only been one guy who liked her since the beginning, or the guy's love rival either died or have a change of heart, then the main guy gets the girl, but not right away, only after a few month/year or so (refer to imadoki and fy)
alice19th was an exception, but it could be cauz watase was being rushed to write the ending (as some of you said earlier), and i havnt fininsh any of her other series yet...
what can you do, all manga artists do that...
and a comment to the above post...dont you kinda feel weird...with aki as aya's baby...its like giving birth to your own brother... eek

Yuu Watase has always had an interesting plot and stroyline. But for me, she's never ended them well.
Imadoki- i think she could have done so muc more with it, and ended it a little better, but yes it was fairly okay.
Ceres- i hated that ending. yes i know they end up together. but what was the point of Toya saying he's going to die soon?!?!?!?! that totally ruined the end for me.
FY: The Mysterious Play- that should have ended at 13 books. i didnt think the books after 13 were all that good... they turned the original Tamahome evil!!! (i think... i havent read it in awhile)
***Plus Miaka and Tamehome(Or Taka) are sooo corny!
Alice 19th- i know Watase was rushed, but COME ON!!!!!!! that ending totally sucked! we know shes in love with him, he knows shes in love with him. so why didnt something else happen!!!!!!!
Absolute Boyfriend- i havent read them all, i only have up to #3 avaliable here... but i like it so far. and i know what happens later on, i think its okay... Night is my favourite though... heart
FY: Genbu Kaiden (sp?)- we only have up to #5 here!!!! are there any more???? it's soooo good. but you already know what happens, 'casue they tell you in FY: The Mysterious Play...
all in all, no matter if the ending is bad, i'm glad she's written these manga! heart

I think that Watase-sama's mangas always have a good storyline, but some of her endings are really kind of disappointing. In Alice 19th, the story seemed kind of rushed, so I don't know, maybe the ending would have been better if she had made it into eight volumes. And Imadoki!, I thought that she could have done so much more with the story, but whatever. That's just my opinion. sweatdrop

I basically agree with every one =/
Alice 19th ws too much in a short series
Imadoki was not enough in a short series
Fushigi Yugi should've ended at volume 13, the whole Taka thing threw me off. sweatdrop I think it would have been ok if she had made a sequel with that idea instead, maybe?
Ceres was instresting, wish Touya could've stayed alive though crying
Haven't read the pre-quel of Fushigi Yugi
Still reading Absolute Boyfriend and I'm enjoying it. I hope the ending doesn't dissapoint me.

hhmmm...i'm kinda half-half because...
i do feel a little disappointed but then, i don't actually want it to end another way so i've got mixed feelings
although for ceres, i wanted to know what happened to touya after, basically whether he died a few years after or whether he was a "human" and lived till he was an old man 3nodding lol
