Sauske looked down at the snow... "Christmas... spirit... " He said sadly... Sauske had past quite a few Christmas’s alone, ever since the incident. "Have you seen Naruto?" he asked softly as he saw one of the cards that she might have missed in the snow and picked it up. It said 'Wishing you and your family a happy holdiay' with a family by the fireplace... all together they looked like they were ready to open presents.

Sakura's eyes softened, and smile lingered. 'It's still hard on him.. after all these years..' She thought sadly, and noticed that he had picked up a simple card that had slipped out of one of her bags.
"No. I haven't." She said simply. She hadn't seen the loudmouth.. since their last team-meating. In which Kakashi simply stated that they wouldn't need to meet up during Christmas break. He had informed Tsunade to not give them any missions, and let them have a nice simple Christmas this year.
"Ne, Sasuke-kun.." She said, unsure of how to ask this.. "Did you wanna come over and have some tea.. or hot chocolate?" She asked. He seemed like he was out to find something to do.. But all she could do was offer.

Sauske gave the card back and put it in one of the bags carefully. Hearing that she had not seen Naruto he started to think that Naruto was most likely still training... 'Naruto...' he though for a moment... then as he normally would have done after sakura would ask him to go some were he turned around and took a few paces... then he stopped 'she was there too...' the back of his mind reminded then he turned to sakura and looked into her eyes. "ok... Sakura... I can give you a hand with those bags too..." he said nervously as he walked back to her waiting to see what she would say...

She smiled brightly. "Arigatou Sasuke-kun!" She said, and watched as he took a few bags from her grasp. 'Feel's better.' She thought silently. Seeing as her shoulder's were aching, caring the heavy bags.
She watched as Sasuke walked on ahead. 'Sasuke-kun...' She thought, and her eyes softened. The guy had been through so much. His clan being murdered by his own brother, the curse seal, Orochimaru.. Thinking of that name.. she almost hissed. That stupid snake made her Sasuke-kun leave for his 'power' if he went with him.
Finally realizing that he wasn't waiting for her, she ran to catch up to him, falling even with his steps. "So have you been doing anything lately?" She asked.. hopefully to start a conversation.

Sauske tilted his head to Sakura question and thought for a moment, He honestly hasn’t been training as hard as he use to... and Kakashi has been hounding on him to stop moping and go on with his life. "Oh... ah… Yes I been busy... Sensei has me doing things... I herd your getting trained by Hokage...Tusnade?"

Hinata turning beat red studered, "I'll just whisper it to you, I don't want others to know." Going up to Tenten's ear she she told her slowly, "I'm looking for a gift for Naruto. Please don't tell anyone." Hinata then turned really red and fell in the cold snow.

Shikamaru watched as Hinata fell into the snow. " Oi Hinata, are you okay?" He asked her, a bit on the worried side. Bending dwon, he offerd his hand to the fallen Hyuga. Was what she told Tenten really that embarrising so he couldn't hear? Hmm, must be for baka Naruto.. he thought. Naruto, huh? Well..he guessed she did have a 'thing' for him. He often was too 'busy' to notice.

Hinata's face turning back to normal takes Shikamaru's hand and gets back up. "Thank you very much."

Tenten smiled. So it WAS for Naruto! She knew it!
Her smile suddently turned to a look of panic when Hinata prompty fell into the snow. Before she could help, Shikamaru had already picked her up. Glad that the Hyuuga was alright, she brushed some snow off on Hinata. She decided to let that little event go. Tenten nodded. "I heard from Sakura that Naruto really likes things with frog designs. She told me that he even has a froggy wallet!" she said giggling. She continued. "Maybe you could get him something along those lines! ...And if not, he likes ramen right? And hes always wearing orange, so maybe that's his favorite color!"

Shikamaru nodded "Your welcome." He stuck his left hand in his pocket, like he had the habit to do. Snow was falling like powder over Konoha, it's soft white causing Shikamaru to give a small smile. It reminded him of clouds... Before he looked like he had completly spaced out completly, he returned to the subjet at hand. " Tenten's right. Plus, he also has many abmitions and such. Maybe somthing to help him rember them all like a jornal or somthing. Maybe one with a frog pattern on it. Or somthing like that." he said, nothing that he liked frogs like Tenten had said.

Hinata with a joyful tone thanked Tenten graciously and rushed out of the Hyuuga mansion and off to town. She has to find an orange, frog ramen. Her mind was free from the torture of worrying about Naruto. She was so relieved.
Now she was worried about finding Naruto's gift

Shikamaru watched Hinata rush out to the towns. " I hope she finds what she's looking for." Shikamaru said in a bland tone. Once again, he looked up at the sky to look at the clouds, greeted by the snow falling in his eye. He rubbed the snokeflake out of his eye and returned his sight to Tenten. " You look like you've had a busy day, Tenten. Want some help with those bags?" he asked her kindly. Well, it was a lot of bags. Heck, he hadn't even started shopping yet!

Sakura smiled, and nodded enthusiastically. "Yepp. She's been teaching me alot about Medical stuff lately.." She said, and went in her 'thinking position'. Which was, tapping her index finger on her cheek.
"I've been kinda thinking that that's what I'd do around here.." She said gently. She had always liked the idea of trying to save someone's life.. instead of ending one. "Besides. Tsunade said that since I have great chakra control, I'd be a great addition to the team!" She smiled gently. "I'll be able to save people's lives..." She said, very softly at the end.
"But it's good that Kakashi-sensai has you doing things.. At least your not out training 24/7 like you used to." She said, and giggled. "You never had anytime to be Uchiha Sasuke." She smiled slightly, 'The person that I probably still love..' She finished in her mind, and continued walking toward her house. Passing by villagers who were glaring at her companion for no reason. 'Can't they just realize that he's changed!' She thought, and glared right back. Causing the, increased crowd, to back away slowly.

They disserve to be mad but were even worse was Sakura was still defending him still looking ahead of him. “Its ok Sakura…” he said softly as he knew everyone was giving him looks. He fondled with the bags as they got to Sakura’s normally he would never do this for her but maybe some would notice that he was… different but he now started to wonder how much stronger then did she get wile he was gone...

Sakura merely sighed. "Maybe they should just realize not to meddle with other people's lives.." She muttered darkly and continued walking by his side at even pace.
They were only a couple blocks away from her house.. and she was freezing! 'That heat is going up as soon as I get in..' She thought and shivered unintensionally.
"So what has Kakashi-sensai been teaching you lately?" She asked silently.. seeing as she had already gone over what she was working on.
