Hideki nodded his head and then sprang to his feet, tail still wagging happily. "Alright!" he grinned broadly and began looking around, wondering what all was here. Though, he paused at her comment and glanced back at her. "Oh, um, sorry..." he said a little awkwardly. "It's a habit I picked up, but I don't know where from." He shrugged again and resumed his gazing around. "Where do you want to go first, lov- Kim?" he asked, quickly trying to correct himself. He looked back at her with a slightly uneasy smile, but then paused as he realized something. "Oh! My name's Hideki. Nice to meet ya!" He extended his hand in greeting, though it was a little late.

Kimonto let a laugh out at how childish and hyper he was acting, she liked people like that. There had been way too many people at this school and previous ones that were too serious. She took his hand and shook it "Nice to meet you and no worries, it was kind of cute" she said. She then glanced around, she had no idea where to start at there were so many booths and areas and not everything was even done yet.

"Um you go ahead and pick a place, I don't mind where" she said as she gave a light nervous laugh. She was way too indesive about where she should go and what she should do so she was going to let him pick. Not only that but when she did make a choice she often wondered if it was the right one or not. So she just gave him a smile and sat paitently as she waited for an answer and looked up at the sky for a minute seeing more cherry blossoms fall.

"Cute?" he echoed with a grin, but didn't say anything else about it. He just chuckled to himself and shook her hand in return before pulling back and placing both hands behind his head. He stared around once again, and then let his eyes rest upon the nearest thing, which appeared to be a drink stand. "Actually..." he began almost thoughtfully. "I just arrived and I had to walk the whole way, so I'm pretty thirsty! Do you want to get some drinks?" Hideki glanced back at her, both hands still behind his head as he waited for a response. His expression was questioning now, though his tail was still wagging excitedly.

"Yeah sure that sounds good, I'm kind of thirsty myself" she said as she stood up and looked around leaning on the table for a minute. "Alright well you lead the way then, and do you maybe have a nickname I can call you?" she asked him. Her eyes kept on going back to his tail that was wagging happily, she smiled even wider. She thought that mostley dogs did that but then again wolfs were a lot like dogs. The only difference was that she thought wolfs were more fun to hang around with. Not only taht but dogs didn't like neko girls that much, s he had learned that from the last place she had lived at. "Alright well you lead the way then" she said as she then waited for him to go ahead as she followed behind.

Hideki nodded and started off, moving towards the stand. He paused though, letting his arms drop back by his sides, as he glanced over his shoulder at her. "Uh, nickname?" he repeated, and then seemed to be deep in thought for a moment before shrugging. "Actually, no... I've just always been Hideki! But if you want to make up one, that'd be cool," he laughed. Then he started walking again, tail wagging happily as his hands swung by his sides. He looked about ready to burst out humming or something, but he kept silent. His tennis shoes made small shuffling noises over the grass and cherry blossoms that were falling everywhere. A few landed in his hair, but he shook his head and they fell off again.

Keith ran with Bijou in one hand running toward the picnic area. "Amazing! It's all so magnificent!" He said with a smile as he looked at the blossoming Cherry Trees. I have always wanted to see those in person... He glanced over at Bijou and had a crooked smile. "S-sorry I pulled you here! I just truely wanted to see it all. For the first time." Keith said as he dosed off. "O-Oh! By first time I mean see those for the first time." He said pointing to the Cherry Trees. "Cherry trees. And they're Blossoming! Truely beautiful." He said as he gazed over at it.

Keith loved nature, and it truely was his weakness. He smiled as he looked over at Bijou. I guess I do like her. He got a light blush and pushed his hand threw his christmas green hair. "Erm, so do you like the environment? Or would you like to go anywhere else?" He questioned.

"I like it here, I need to sit anyway. I got barely any sleep last night!" she said. She picked up a cherry blossome from the ground and played with it. Changing it's shape... it's color... and finally turning it into a small throwing star. She would keep it that way, just in case she got kidnapped by space pirates, like a girl at the Roxalis amusement park.

She kissed Keith on the cheek and layed out a blanket. She didn't want her kimono to get dirty. It was a purple and white kimono. Most of it was withe, but there were large spots of purple. The arms wre long, about to the middle of her calves. She had a pink ribbon to keep it closed and a jade netsuki (the tie that keeps the kimono from falling off). The ribbon made a large bow about as large as the sleeves and had a white border of flowers. The purple spots on her kimono had a flower print with gold branches. She also carried a fan with the kanji for spring on it. She sat down and smiled at Keith. They had only started dating yesterday, but she had a feeling they wouldn't break up or anything. "What else do you want to do after we take a break here? I hear there's a kissing booth... and karaoke! Can we do karaoke next?"

Keith blushed as Bijou kissed him on the cheek. I should be getting used to that. He looked over at her and smiled. "O-Oh umm..Well I don't exactly know where we should go. I find it suitable for the lady to pick." He continued, "If you really do want to go to Karaoke, I have absolutly no problem." He said with a smile as he picked up a leaf from his head and put it down. Beautiful day it is.

Keith slapped his head. "Ah! I forgot to tell you," He said as he took Bijou's hand and kissed it. "You look so beautiful today. I adore the Kimono that your wearing." He said with a smile.

Bijou smiled at Keith and looked to the side. She hadn't told him yet. And this seemed like the perfect place for her to tell him. He wouldn't mind, though. It was just a race. She smiled for a while before she actually opened her mouth to speak "I have a small thing to tell you. It's nothing to be worried about..." she said. She had meant to tell him last night, but she forgot when they got their plans for today straightened out.

"I'm an angel. Like, a literal angel. I have wings and everything." she said. She extended her wings and looked at Keith. She knew he would understand. She smiled and laid down on the blanket. A blossom landed on her nose. She laughed and it fell off. It was so peacefull. And they had a perfect spot. Right under a tree. She wanted to wait a bit more before they left for the karaoke machine. She remembered everyone's comments on her singing voice yesterday at the Glass Violin music hall. She was wondering if she would see Ame or Tsuki or Lancaster.

She smiled and sat up to kiss Keith on the cheek again. She would save their first kiss for the fireworks. That would be romantic. She giggled at her thoughts of romance. It was like a romantic comedy where she plans for everything to be right, and then it all goes wrong and they end up kissing in the middle of a rainstorm in Bermuda. How they would end up in Bermuda, she had no idea. It was just the first place that came to mind. and then she smiled. A few rachisu's wandered past their blanket and wandered away. It was the perfect place for an event like this.

Sakura smiled down at Verin, "Thank you. I'm so glad you think so." She sat down on her knees, trying to look rather proper in her kimono. "But tell me, you don't seem nearly as interested in this festival as your brother. How come? If I may be so bold as to ask." She flattened out her kimono in her lap, making sure that no one could see her shorts that she had worn underneath. She knew it wasn't exactly tradition to wear shorts under a kimono, however she had always felt a bit uncomfortable with just her kimono and personal items. In her lap she held a small bag which match her kimono completely except for the wooden handles that came off of the top. Her shoes had become a bit uncomfortable from standing on her feet for too long. They were traditional Japanese clog-type shoes which to her felt as if they had absolutely no cushioning in them for comfort.

Verin sat up, folding his arms and placing them on his knees. "It's not the festival itself. The festival is great. I get very...uneasy...when I'm around a lot of people. And a festival like this attracts a lot of people. I'm sure no one means me any harm, so I should feel at ease. But this is just a neurosis that I have to deal with." Verin rested his chin on his arms. He never did well in crowds. No one would do well in crowds if they spent a year in that cavernous city, as he did. Verin lived in constant fear that someone could attack him from any angle, so he was always alert, even if it didn't look like it. Hoping to set his mind at ease, he focused on the cascade of cherry blossoms that fell from the tree in what seemed to be a neverending stream.

Sakura looked up into the tree for a moment, as if in deep thought. She knew some of the blossoms were probably falling onto her head as she sat there but it didn't bother her too much. "You'd actually be quite surprised at how many people are actually afraid of such things. I, myself, was once afraid to go into large crowds. If it had not been for my parent's insistence that I sing in public, I probably would still be afraid of it." Sakura remembered many times, as a teenager, not wanting to go out on stage and perform because there had been too many people around. She remembered crying her eyes out because of the fear that she might mess up or get a lyric wrong.

Verin sighed. "Unfortunately, my fear isn't as simple as being afraid to sing in front of large crowds or anything like that. I just have to remember that I'm not in that world anymore, and not everyone wants to kill me because I pose a threat." For that one year—just one year—he had been the target of many assassination attempts because of how much he was capable of. And something of that magnitude would make anyone overcautious in any situation. "You might understand my plight, and you might not. But either way, I can at least thank you for trying."
PostPosted: Wed Aug 16, 2006 2:16 pm

Sakura nodded, listening to Verin as he talked about his fear. She couldn't really understand where he was coming from, but she definately understood fear. For what it was worth, she felt as if there must have been something she could understand from what he was saying. "I haven't really been feared," she said to him. "But for what its worth, fear really is fear no matter what form it takes." She didn't think that anything she could have said would make it better, so she decided not to say much. "Do you maybe want to get something to eat," she added softly, as her stomach emitted a grumbling noise.

Yuki entered the area and gazed around silently, her icy blue eyes slightly wide as they settled upon the cherry trees. She reached out her hand slowly, catching a blossom as it drifted past her on a small breeze. She stared at it for a moment, and then smiled at Shinku. For some reason, her cheeks were a faint pink even though nothing at all had happened, but at the same time she was suddenly really happy. Her tail wasn't wound nervously around her waist, and instead was flicking calmly behind her. She held up her hand again and released the flower, letting it drift away again, and then tucked a bit of silvery hair behind her pointed ear, keeping it out of her face, which was also odd. Usually she let it cover her face so she could hide behind it.
