Yep! It wouldn't be fair otherwise, seeing how, if 5k served as a guardian's minimum entrance fee instead of a Feedee or Legend's minimum entrance fee, half the Legend guardians would be allowed two characters in for the "price" of one. 3nodding

I've been mentioning a few things in the feedee thread...
however, one think i think would be spantacular is to have the art contest have some kinda theme...
and here are a few ideas to throw in the hat for themes... if we decide this is something we want XD:
story books: [would go well with both shops i think =D, so like the thread can be all decorated with story book fairytale kinda stuffs]
fish: [i just happen to like fish... maybe a more general animal's would be cool too]
foods: [like maybe deserts or something... or maybe the favorite foods of the characters?]
stars and planets and cilestial stuffs: [constalliations and planets and whatevers... galaxys?]
ums... i dunno since it's a contest for both shops i thought maybe a separate theme would be good to have a nice look for the contest =D
@3@ and i will offer up to create the graphics for the contest page... [i don't think i'd be a good canidate to keep track of entries and stuff though...]
and also bump contests? should we have that?
I will also offer up some freebies and stuff =D [anyone else offering some up too?]
there is also talk of creating a small shop to sell things to raise some money for the contest... [i'm totally willing to offer up some cute ghostie pets or whatever] =D any ideas on what should be made? or what you'd like to contribute?
And i'll probably do some kinda art auction to raise some money... anyone interested in joining me??? @3@ i think it will be fishy themed...
[anyone who joins will be given a small image by me... probably chibi like or something for your payment <3] since all the money will be going to the contest.
er... was there anything else...
and lastly, i'll be donating 20million for the contest [not including whatever the artauction will bring] so hopefully no one else has to contribute too much @3@... but i guess the more money we have the more prizes we can give out! [judging with only a few prizes sucks] it would be cool if we could give everyone something =D yay! <--- not realistic but still a cool thought.

When you say individual categories, do you mean like best [insert feedee/legend name here]?
If so then I'd say cap it off at something relatively 'low', like 40k so that you have more for the overall prizes but I'm not exactly sure how much gold you'll be dealing with by the time you start this. o_o;

I'm inclined to agree; catagories of "Best suchandsuch" should be fairly low, but these sorts of catagories also extend to, for example, "Best Dare and Ink enemy art" or "Best Dare and Chandra romance art" or something. I know that the Legend twins will have a catagory together.
This option is offered for those, too, who wish to sponsor a catagory. If a person wants to be in charge of, say, Best Chibi, they could sponsor the prizes for it and maybe even judge it by their self. I hope that makes sense, 3nodding .

ooh, like, maybe best group shot: contest winners (feedee and/or Legends) or a category for best quester art...do we have a list of quest threads anywhere? P:
I mean, other than the section in the guild for the feedee... :B;;
also, lessee...35 legends, +29 Feedee (incl. contest winners) plus 15 spots for additional individual categories... =79.

I think we have enough characters as it is without adding questers. Quest Legends are subject to change and might actually be wasted, whereas art of existing characters is never wasted, <3.

@Theme - story book is my favorite :3
@art auction - erm, if I manage to draw and scan and ink the new hairstyles, I can include a set of 10 chibi head emoticons (speaking of which, phoo could you pm me the details of the five emoticons I owe you? sweatdrop )
@individual category cap - I chose 100k, it's a little pricey but high enough to be enticing smile is there a minimum for the individual category though?

(( OHH I love the story book theme....and the celestial theme...and auctally the fishy theme.
Would love to see how artists interpretate the legends into fish species!! *Thinking of the fish with the atenna light and big teeth and lives in the dark, Ink comes to mind... XD *
Ohhh I think 75 - 8ok, it still is a lot of goldies, i would want to parcipate if 40k was up for grabs!
Haha an art auction sounds cool, i would love to join but suck.....I can draw scary penguins though! *hides from the ones controlling her* ))

By September 1st I'd like to get a clear idea as to what catagories we want and don't want to include, how we're going to fund said catagories and with what/how much, and know who is in and who isn't. We'll take it from there and see what the next step'll be~

Question, is the list a list of the Legend/Feedee guardians that have sent in their 5k? Because if so, then I'm pretty sure I should be on there.. I donated a sealed letter not too long ago for my fee. XD;
I can contribute a fullbody watercolor and a colored pencil drawing for the art auction? I would offer a CGed pic but they take me forevar to do and I'm horrible at them. <<; And haha, a fishy theme would be adorable. XD *is in love with fishies*
