To Laial Tessa nodded towards a large clock on the far wall. Then she flicked her eyes over to Lian. " The terrain room is warmish but not too bad and I've had the settings put to something that is hoepfully acceptable to you all. Unfortunately you have very different habitat needs so meeting everyone's requirements wasn't quite possible.
That said she smiled at the and walked over to a door. Upon opening in there was a small blast of warm air that smelled of very fragrent flowers. Motioning for the boys to follow her Tessa walked into the terrain room.
Instantly she was englufed into a forest and although she could make out the rooms ceiling above her there was quite a bit of obstructing leafy canopy making it hard. " Please note when you step in that the first part if this habitat is forrested, there's a path to follow that leads to a clearing and from there you can head to the small cliff range we have or follow the stream that sections of the land to the series of miniature caves."
For Tessa this was the strangest room ever, depending on the weather controls used you could have summer in the forest and snow on the cliffs;while other kids could wade in the stream and follow it right into the mouth of a cave.
Becuase it had the most possibilities it had been the room Tessa had chosen for this specific group of children. Hopefully it would suit them well or they'd have to keep switching rooms.
( Those of you who already know which skill you'd like to learn please let me know in your next post)

Chath followed the woman Keir following behind interested in this habitat. He was being fairly obediant today, remarkable. Chath had his hands in his short pockets and upon feeling the humid air felt his finger brush the nozzel of the mister attatched to his belt. At least he won't let himself over heat.
He wondered what exactly they were going to be taught, how was also an interesting question.
(I would like Chath to learn how to produce an toxic secretion from his skin :d if you can call that a skill XD )

Lian followed Tessa into the bizzare room. The warmish air didn't exactly feel that great to him, but it wasn't that bad either. Atleast they were in the shade,. there was probably a light in here that simulated the sun if they had everything else.
Xiao followed her fuzzy companion, deciding to walk today on her stubby legs. They weren't moving very fast so she didn't need to fly everywhere today.
(um probably balance for Lian)

((For Laial....no idea. XD;; If she can teach something about adjusting the size of the pinhole lens to allow less/more light in, that'd be good. [talking about his eyes]))
Laial blinked at the... very... far away clock. How was he supposed to see that? She could have just told him... He reluctantly trained behindChath and Lian entering the weird room. It looked like something that would be seen in an aviary... a bit too warm for his tastes, but nothing unbearable.
Heiko flopped along after Laial, for she 'walked' to slow to be in front of anyone.

Once everyone was in the room tessa turned to address her students once again. She brushed a plumb coloured lock out of her eyes hae and behind her ear before clearing her thoat. She took a quick glance down at her ntoes to remind herself of what she wanted to teach each child before sming at them.
"Since you are all old enough to be trusted on your own I'm not going to exactly babysit you in this class I'll come around and observe and help you all in turn but there is no need for me to keep you in a tight group where I must watch you every second." these children all seemed well behaved and trustworthy besides Their dragons would also be keeping an eye on them so this arrangment should be fine,."
She nodded towards Lian and the the path " If you'd follow that towards the cliff range please, I'm aiming to improve your sense of balance today. I'll be along in a moment" She'd attend to him first becuase the cliffs were the most dangerous part of the terrain room.
Next she turned to look at Laial "If you would please follow the path and then the stream to the minature caves I'd be gratefull. We'll be working on your ability to adjust the pinhole in your eyes. Untill I get there however feel free to just relax.
"Chath please find a comfertable spot in this terrain and I'll make my way to you as soon as I can. We're going to work on your ability to create toxins as a defense. Keir if you would assist him by attempting to attack him even gently it may trigger the bodies natural reflexes and he can work on learning to control when he creates the toxin"
"Any questions?"

Chath looked to where each student was being assigned to and felt his eyes stare at his teacher a moment and then looked to his dragon. Keir seemed to have a very sly grin on his face. OH dear. Gently? This dragon didn't know how to be gentle.
Chath was about to raise his hand to ask a question but stopped himself. He didn't want the others to think he was a baby. Fine he would go and try and not get dissolved by Keir. Easy...he hoped.
Moving a ways to the right so that the terrain was level he sat down, he wondered how soon he should start practicing, he didn't realize he could produce a toxin from his skin... he looked down at his bare arm the spots and the orange skin looked...normal enough.
Keir on the other hand was eager to get started. He was given permission to attack the boy. Of course she did say...gently. The dragon laid down his eyes fixed on the newt boy, like a panther waiting to pounce....
Chath was not as oblivious as Keir made him out to be, he did notice the change in behavoir nearly instantly and groaned. Great now he was being stalked.... he hoped the teacher wouldn't be too long.

The wait seemed like forever, Chath watched his dragon warily but the dragon had not moved an inch in ages. Wondering if Keir had fallen asleep or something he made ready to stand up, only to hear the hiss of grass being burnt alive by acid near his foot.
It only took a second to register what was going to happen next before Chath avoided another acidic spit, this time aimed at his legs. Dancing to the left Chath missed a trail of acid splashes narrowly. "Ms. TESSA!!" He cried out as another acid spit hit his leg he winced in pain and grabbed a handful of dirt to try and wipe the acid away before it ate too deep into his skin.
But even as he did this Keir had suddenly bounded up onto all fours and was now charging towards the poor boy. Eyes wide it was the first time he really felt intense fear, he never realized just how dangerous Keir could really be to him and others around him.

"Keir heel" Tessa called dout running towards the pair. She wasn't sure the dragon was going to listen to her in fact she was pretty damned sure she would but she had to try. " I said gently damnit" she growled. Perhaps she ought to have started with these two.
At this rate Chatch was going to be too terrified to do much of anything and if Keir actually hurt him she'd be forced to end his lessons since she wasn't trained on how to take care of injured caused by dragons.

Chath looked up and then suddenly felt himself falling. His feet has slipped on the grass and now he was lying on the ground. Keir was almost right on top of the boy, his muzzel filled with rows of sharp teeth barely inches from Chath's upraised arm.
But the dragon didn't bite, though he did keep a firm foot planted on Chath's chest. The dragon looked up as he heard the human woman speak, heel? What was he some rabid dog? As if shaking his large head he moved off of Chath and sat down in the tall grass, a toothfilled grin marring his face.
Chath thought Keir was really going to bite him. Not that Keir hadn't done that before, but they had always been warning nips. He sat uphand groping his fish net top as if making sure he was still really alive. He was happy to see the teacher and wondered if Keir only stopped because she had appeared.
He looked to Keir a sudden understanding in him, no if the teacher hadn't arrived at this moment Keir wouldn't of bit him, the dragon was trying to force the skill out of him and apparantly terrifying him was his best method.

Tessa sighed and shook her head as she surveyed the pair. " Kier I want him to defend himself and learn control, if he's terrified chances are he won't remember the feeling of the toxins activating. Attack but give him a chance to defend please." She implored the dragon.
Turning her attention to Chath she smiled at him " Let's take it from the top and remeber what I said, if the tonixs do kick in as a defense try to remember the feel of how it happens." If she kick started his defense he'd need to learn fairly quickly how to control it lest he hurt someone.

Chath nodded his head looking to Keir who had gotten back up. The black dragon came over and then started to head butt the kid with the flat of his forhead. Now the dragon just seemed to be doing this to be silly, but the dragon wasn't exactly sure how to attack without actually hurting. Keeping his mouth shut seemed the best way to avoid getting the kid hurt.
"hey...what are you?" he stopped as Keir headbutted him again this time harder. Chath stumbeled a bit to one side, "Hey Keir...that kinda hur..." he didn't get a chance to reply as the dargon hit him again, knocking him over.
His fear now gone, anger was starting to replace it. "Keir will you stop that??" he asked as he got himself up of the ground only to be knocked down again.

 Tessa smiled as she watched the scene unfold, she wasn't certain anger would unlock the defensive skills but it was entirely possible. After all if you had the ability and were angry enough you migh secrete toxins too to make someone go away.
( sorry there's nothing to go on but at this point it's up to Chath to use his ability)

Chath raised an arm to try and block the dragon's large head but only ended it getting swatted away and thud. Once more into his chest. Ow. chath getting frusterated smelt something funny. Was he sweating? His skin felt slimey as if he had just ran a marathon, then smell was odd.
Keir stopped immediately as he caught the scent. Didn't need some poison on his nice hide thankyou. The dragon seemed to be grinning to himself as he sat down and looked at the teacher with an expression like. I did well right?
Chath looked at his skin and remembered the teachers words from earlier, remeber how you felt when it happened. Angry. LIke something was bubbling up inside of him and then seeping out. The seeping out part was kinda gross. But hey whatever works.
"Um...cool?" he said looking down at his arms and legs, it wasn't jsut there it was everywhere! it was kinda embrassing to see his shorts starting to absorb the toxin into the fabric. Great.

" Good job Kier. " Tessa praised the dragon the way one would a child. " Your Job is over for today but not finish completely." That said tessa turned to Chatch and smiled " Congrats you're officially dangerous when mad " She teased.
" I want you to continue practising this once a day for a week, if needed Kier can provide incentive untill you have it under control and at your command." There was nothing more Tessa could teach Chath today he'd need to refresh his toxin stores before anything could be done. " I have to go help the other's but it's pretty easy to find your way out . You've been a good student I look foreward to seeing you in the future."

Chath felt proud and stood up. Despite feeling...'gross' he decided that this was probably a good thing. Now he had some sort of defense taht was natural to him, he listened to Tessa and nodded his head understand that this was something he wuold need to get control over.
"Ok, Thankyou." He stated and then started to leave the classroom. He was hoping he would be able to see LIan and the other kid learn their skills but he had no idea where they were. Oh well time for practice tobegin.
