Fuzzysham I just heard this song on the radio. It has a real heavy slapping bassline in it. (from the bassguitar) I asked my parents; do you know who this is? They said UB40. So its a song by UB40 and troughout the whole song it has a very heavy slapping bass line in it. I immediatly picked up my bass and tryed to play the song (while its still fresh in my memory) I figured the main part out in a second. But i still want to know what the song is so i can play learn it 100%. I want to know the song becaus im trying to improve my slapping skills 3nodding It might be the song "red wine" but I dont recall that song having a heavy bassline...
But I also havent heard the song in a while..
EDIT: it could also be "singing off" I know that one has a really heavy baseline..

My friend just sent me this song and I have no idea what its called. It starts of saying: "This is the story of a girl, who cried a river and drowned the whole world" Or something like that... Any ideas of what it might be?

"And while she looks so sad in photographs I absoluetly love her when she smiles." heart "Absolutely (Story of a Girl)" - Nine Days I haven't heard that song in so long.

Okay, I feel rather stupid saying this, but there is a song on this comercial that I absolutely hate. But I wan't to know what the name of the song is. It is this weird commercial where things keep getting smaller and I guess its about a pen or something that is realy small. I don't know. But the song in the back ground is like 'Cut me down to size' or something like that...I don't know...I feel stupid. xp

I know a few,
- Tom flannery - whisper in the wind - I think skid row's threat song says it a couple times... I heard it on the radio ealier..but I dont think they would put this song on a commercail, but you never know - Cold play - swallowed - Alan parrson - winding me up - And I think Pearl jam has a song with that line in it too.. but I dont think they would put it in there either..XP - cake has one too I think
