Alec ran through the streets of Durem looking for Any clues he could find. Who were the people that had locked him up? Where was Nick? Was Cycon really back to normal? Alec shook his head. "I have to find Nick first. Even though he hates to admit it we need each other being the last of our kind..." Alec heard a loud bang. He looked over and saw some guy get thrown back by automatic doors. "?" Alec shook his head. He looked familliar but he didn't have time. Alec took off again.

ok does any one know what alec and nick are doing? im so confused sweatdrop

Alec stopped. He tried to catch his breath. "Damn... Nick... When I... Find you... Your dead..." Alec shook his head. "I forgot how big this city was. Nick's not in his usual spots. Well three of them anyways. I wish he had told me about the third...." Alec stopped to think. The Clocktower, The church, and some back alley. Alec look in all three places. "where is the last?" Alec hit himself. "The sewar... Damn I hate that place..." Alec looked down at the manhole lid at his feet. "Well here goes..."

Alec stared at him for a minute. "Uh well Cycon is back to normal. And Uh I was kidnaped... but I'm not sure by who. I managed to escape by...well you know. Anyways I was looking for you actually..." Alec laughed nervously. Then got serious. "I don't know whats up with you all of a sudden. Your planning something. Your personality has completely changed. What happened to 'Jebus. This place sucks. We should take over. Alec your such a wimp. Jeez not with the heroics again.' Oh and my favorite! '...'" Alec waited for a second. He apperently hit Nick in a painful spot. "Your all 'Hey lets go on an adventure!' Now... It's really ******** freaking me out Nick."

Alec shook it off. "Anyways Delta needs us to come in. something about bum rushing Gambino's place. But Cycon... He doesn't seem right. He was cool. Then he got brain washed. But now he's all like. Oh I need the groups ...Ki to help me out... I don't get it. Ki is not something I've heard of." Alec thought a minute. "I guess it could be some kind of energy...but then wouldn't it be Chi? Or Mana? Theres tons of different energies around. But all of a sudden a new one arises and Cycon suddenly needs it? Just sounds suspicious to me."

Alec faced away from Nick. "Well whats our next move? Your planning to Take out Gambino your self right? I'll help you. But I won't rule Gaia. And If I can help it neither will you. But I will help you take down the tyrants within to make it a better place." Alec waited for Nick's reply.

So You can join in on the fun while it's here. or you can only focus on your mission instead of Having fun with it. Your choice there.)

Nick smiled. And for the first time in years it was a real smile. "Yeah man. Yeah..." Nick walked to Alec's left. "Your right. Gaia needs to be a safer place and with out the tyrants and junk. I guess with the way my life has been going these years gone by... I've forgoten my sence of adventure... It doesn't matter who takes them down... But I want it to be me. It's been years Alec. Since either of us have been in the spotlight. It may not matter to you. But I miss the years of being the Deviant Hero. So I began to plot against Gaia. Against the world so I may one day achive the power and attention I miss so much. And I guess..."

Nick looked up at the sky. "I know you feel the same way.... Not a day goes by that I don't miss her face, Her voice, and even her cocky attitude that got us into all that trouble to begin with...Not that I didn't start my share of s**t..." Nick looked at his friend. The only one who hadn't passed on yet. "I guess we should follow their examples. Should we fade away as well? Me... I'm not ready yet. I wasn't ready to give her up yet. And I sure a hell am not redy to bow my a** down to someone weaker than me. So Bring them on. Show Me Gambino. Show Me Cycon. If they get in my way They'll all taste my blade!"

He took out a silver locket then pocketed it again. "I'll wear this once I've seen my goals once more. For now. I guess we stick with Our Plan Take down Gambino and any other Gaian Tyrants. And if Cycon gets in the way. We'll do away with him too. I'll be damned if he steals my ideas of Universal conquest." Nick turned to Alec. "So... Can I trust you to hang with me till the end? even if it means we fight each other? Can I trust you to help me finish what we started by joining this alliance?" Nick stared at Alec. "Don't answer now. Whenever is fine. I just need to know I'm not alone. Because If I'm alone then The result of this will be none to pretty. Your my last Anchor to Sanity Alec. Your the last wall preventing total Insanity from setting in." Nick turned around and began walking towards Barton. "I'll meet you at the Delta base in a few days. Gather info and such. I'll be ready on my part then."

Alec wathced him go. They knew each other better than he realized. Alec turned and headed towards Delta Base. "Time to see what the hells going on." Alec stopped along the way to recover his equipment. Equipment he hadn't worn in a long time. He walked into the base and looked around. the normal unorganized comtion all over. chattering about Cycon's greatness. Alec shook his head. "I must've missed something..." Alec walked into the main room.

He turned to a notice board. His jaw dropped. "Three days till assult on Gambino's mansion!?!" Alec turned. Damn What do I do now? We need more help..." Alec walked back into the comunity area. he pulled over a random person. "Hey what is the deal with this assult?"

"The great Cycon Has ordered the imediate defeat of Gambino."

Alec nodded. then walked out side. "Idiot. Gambino's army will tear us apart if we try a head on assult. Is he going for a sympathy defeat? We all die and the rest will follow him to the end? Screw this!"

Alec took off for Barton Town.

Alec passed the durem Reclamation center In a blur of speed. He had to Find Nick. They had to stop this manslaughter. Was Cycon acctually planning to destroy all of the Delta squadron for such a worthless cuase.

"He wouldn't...He couldn't...Why? How? When? Is Gambino still in control? What the hell is gooing on. Maybe Nick and I should just blow them all away. even if Nick wants to do it the hard way. I know he's laking in the badass department lately. He's so broken that only I can tell."

Alec stopped running in the out skirts of Barton. "He's fazing in and out of good and Evil... The Insanity is bound only by me. If only they were alive! Christine...Dio...Mike...Zac...Taylor...Jessica...Rage...And everyone else... Hell the only one alive is me... And thats only on a technicality... I gave up my Angelic being for my weaker/stronger form. A holy being vs. A Demonic Dragon Knight... Jezz what the hell was i thinking... And now I'm his only link to sanity." Alec walked the rest of the way. He knew where Nick would be. In Ian's shop. thats where he always hung out. "Kinda makes me wish the whole event would happen again... s**t what am I talking about..."

Alec spotted him and decided to wait. He would get a drink first.

Alec couldn't bring himself to tell Nick. at least not just yet. He had to strengthen the anchor to his sanity first. a push like this might set him off.

Alec would not let that happen. he couldn't. He walked into the bar. As if by accident he looked right at her. But he didn't know her. He looked at the bartender. "I need a really big one. Hard as hell. something that'll shut me up for awhile."

The bartender nodded. "Coming up!"

Alec put his head down and waited.
