The whole Doctor-Rose thing was nice and and an interesting change from his previous relationships, but I think it now needs to start moving away from all the mushy romance stuff, which I felt was starting to get a bit tedious.

Yes I agree, the Doctor in love is nice and all, but really keep it platonic. I watch Doctor Who for the scifi that it's known for; not to see a romance story with a spice of scifi on the side.

I dont mean for it to take over the show because that would be stupid (sorry if I didnt make that clear before) Doctor Who is a sci-fi show not romance show! I've got to admit I watch the show to see the adventures not the romance but it is nice to see a bit of romance biggrin

Rose had SERIOUS relationship issues. First she dumps her boyfriend for a stranger, then shes flirting away with Adam, then shes hitting on Captain Jack, then she gets incredibly jealous when Mickey gets a girlfriend, then she runs off after The Doctor again, then she cries and refuses to recognize him, then she loves him (almost instantly) again, then she looses Mickey and cries over that, then she looses The Doctor and cries over him. Seriously she SUCKS at relationships, though it was cute and everything and made for nice scenes she was incredibly tedious in that sense *_*
I dont want him to have a relationship with Martha =/ from what i've seen so far she seems to be like a more.. Kung-Fu Sarah Jane xD she should be good. A much stronger character. But no, no relationships please. Maybe he can go hump Romana again xD

Kumiko.C er...platonic relationships please.. even if the doctor is a minx with other characters. I really like how light and flirty 10 can be, it's a nice aspect of his character. I'd miss it if they made him like completely asexual-- but he also shouldn't be chasing after all of his companions. I agree that hopefully he and Martha will have a more platonic relationship...

Eirwyn I sometimes think Jack would consider a tyrannosaurus rex a potentially good match... rofl So true! Personally, I don't want Martha and ten to fall in love. After Rose, he'll need some time to get himself back together anyway. What I wanna see is a person he can act like a father to. That would be funny, a person that can match him in wits and cleaverness that he keeps testing, but who tags along like a kid and pouts like one too. I don't think he's had anyone like that since his first incarnation with Susan, and I'm not all that sure of their relationship either. It'd bring out alot out of him.

Since he didn't get one...
I think it would be a little foolish of them to bring in another love-based relationship so quickly. However, that said, although the Doctor has no excuse for forgetting about Rose so quickly Martha has no such issues. I suspect she will have some sort of 'attraction' scene at the beginning - followed by the Doctor saying he's not interested... possibly. Or they might be really cool and ignore the romance side altogether. Who knows?
I'll admit, it hasn't been worrying me. I'm still hoping for a slightly weirder and more interesting second companion to join them. And I don't mean Jack.

I wish they'd cut the 10th out completely...I hope they cut romance out completely with the next companion. I didn't really like the relationship between 10th and Rose anyway.

The 9th doctor and rose was awesome and the 10th doctor and rose is awesome as well. But i just dont think that the doctor should not fall in love anymore. Cut the man a break please.
