Yes we do. In fact if I could find my "cheat sheet" I could tell you exactly what they are. I haven't seen anyone do those in a long time though.

Frogr1701 So the topic doesn't just die off (hah not likely right) what are the names of your forms? (I can't find that book at the moment so I'm going by memory and the short names). In belt order: Songahm 1 Songahm 2 Songahm 3 Songahm 4 Songahm 5 In Wha 1 In Wha 2 (blue) Choong Jahng 1 (brown) Choong Jahng 2 (red) Sim Jum (1st degree) Jung Yul (2nd degree) And that's all I know. U. S. Tae Kwon Do Form Names:
White: Geecho 1 Boo (기초 1부) Yellow: Geecho 2 Boo (기초 2부) Purple: Geecho 3 Boo (기초 3부) Orange: Tae Geok 1 Jang (태극 1장) Green: Tae Geok 2 Jang (태극 2장) Green Stripe: Tae Geok 3 Jang (태극 3장) Blue: Tae Geok 4 Jang (태극 4장) Blue Stripe: Tae Geok 5 Jang (태극 5장) Brown: Tae Geok 6 Jang (태극 6장) Brown Stripe: Tae Geok 7 Jang (태극 7장) Red: Tae Geok 8 Jang (태극 8장) Red Stripe: memorize from white to green stripe Jr. Black Belt (Red&Black): memorize from blue to red Black Belt 1st Degree: Go Ruh (고려) Black Belt 2nd Drgree: Keum Gang (금강)
And I don't know the rest.

When I was not that far from becoming a black belt, the master "invented" hand techniques... Luckily, I didn't have to memorize the hand techniques for testing. Does anyone's dojang have hand techniques too?

Female, 1st degree black belt, 2 years, but I stopped learning Tae Kwon Do now.. >_<
It's SO annoying because americans, where I live at, keep bragging how much they are good at and stuff.. and brag how much they know about it.. they think there are many belts, even though I tell them it's 'made up' belt to earn money...

If you read frogman's posts, there was only 6 belts back then. You are right though.. The people made up belts to make more money. In the dojang that I go, the price for testing increases as your belt gets higher.

What do you mean by "hand techniques"? Do you mean a bunch of specific hand technique drills or combinations.
bleh I'll just blabber all the "hand techniques" I can remember:
punch front punch reverse punch ridgehand strike upset ridgehand strike knifehand strike upset knifehand strike back fist hammer fist double outer forearm block double inner forearm block double knifehand block high block low block knifehand high block x high block twin low block twin inner forearm block twin outer forearm block nine block upset punch twin upset punch square block knifehand square block
I think I got them all...
